Can't find Lumia SensorCore SDK

For some reason Nokia Developer and its community and wiki seem to be gone, I've looked everywhere on the MSDN and can't find any information regarding Lumia or any other Nokia platform, if this is a move by Microsoft it's a lousy and developer unfriendly move, why did they do this? You'd think that they'd use the MSDN which still has archives for Windows Mobile and even MS-DOS development, but for some reason Microsoft just has to delete years and years of work, this move would've never happened under Ballmer, the Microsoft-Nokia deal had so much potential, but Microsoft completely ruined it, I won't be surprised if they'd delete all Lumia features and then take 5 years so build them from the ground up and waste money and hire new people because they had to fire the old talented workers (oké, maybe this accidently turned into a rant, but I really just want Microsoft to make MICROSOFT Mobile's operating systems's and devices' developer software and wiki's available from the Microsoft DEVELOPER Network).
Likewise Microsoft claims that S40, S60, Asha, and Nokia X development details can be found on the Opera site but there's literally nothing there, it would've been way easier to have just migrated and archived information and Wiki's to the MSDN which still lists articles relevant to Windows 95, but can't list something about the Lumia Imaging SDK which works with the Microsoft Lumia 640 XL released in 2015.

I am a external developer like you, and I do not understand that closure either. Furthermore, the Microsoft Mobile Community is not leveraged as feedback channel. Therefore here, your comments drown in the Internet swarm. Officially, you should ask such questions in the Microsoft Developer Network (Lumia) or Opera (rest).

Does this help?
TulaTheQuang wrote:

Please, continue there …
Currently, Google still has Developer Nokia in its cache, if you look for the Blogs, Wiki, or Discussion Board.
Furthermore as of today, the Wayback Machine is not blocked by a robot.txt, yet.
If you look for something special, please, say so and I double-check for you.

    My phone can't find the Lumia Black update, I talked to Telenor in Sweden and the say the update should be available. My current SW is 3047.0000.1326.2005.
    Is there some other way to download and install the update?

    Ota is the only way for users to update their phones. You could always get your phone updated at your local Nokia Care Point. I would suggest leaving it another few weeks before doing that.

  • Can't find the proper sdk exe to start and run the SDK along with classes

    Hello:
    I have downloaded the java sdk development, several versions of it. However, I cannot find not one proper exe file that will open the sdk development interfaces. I have searched my computer and it does seem that I have all the files such as bin, ect... , even some sample classes, except for the main sdk exe that will open the java classes. So, I need some help with this issue, which would be greatly appreciated.
    Recency

    The SDK is not one single executable. And to "open java classes" doesn't really mean anything.
    You'll want to start here:
    http://download.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/getStarted/cupojava/index.html
    Perhaps by "executing the JDK", you're talking about an IDE? If so, the NetBeans link on that page is what you're looking for. However, I strongly advise you to avoid IDEs and do things with a simple programmer's editor and command line until you a) have a good grasp of the language basics, and b) are clear on the concepts of language, IDE, JDK, and core API, and what separates one from the others.

  • Where can I find Microsoft Java SDK?

    Hi,
    I need the Microsoft Java SDK.
    Proof that I need it bad: I post a thread on the Sun's page to obtain the Microsoft Java SDK :D
    Thanks for your help!

    sorry i may be completely wrong
    but im sure the microsoft runtime is compliant with java 1.0 or 1.1, as far as i can tell if you use stuff from 1.0 ONLY(and compile it in 1.0)) then it should work on the microsoft vm
    but im not 100% certain.

  • How can I find out the screen size of the users moniter using the Acrobat SDK?

    How can I find out the screen size of the users moniter using the Acrobat SDK? I need to know how much sreen real estate that is available on the users moniter. Is there some call that I can make from the SDK to discover the maximun X and Y coordinates?
    Thanks,
    Gregory

    Currently, I am testing on multiple moniters and it is defaulting to the moniter designated as the #1 moniter. For our purposes, this is acceptable. Once the two documents have loaded, the user can move and re-size at will.

  • Where can I find CODE & DOCS for Acrobat PDF Library SDK?

    Hi,
    I had used Acrobat PDF SDK in the past but it didnt serve the purpose and we had to abort plan. THis time we are using PDF LIBRARY SDK instead. When can i find the code and documentation for it?
    The only page I see is http://www.adobe.com/devnet/pdf/library/
    So I want to study the object models, objects, functions etc, cant find it. Also is there a book you can suggest to study it. I sort of know the PDF-SDK wel, is the PDF-LIBRARY-SDK almost the same ?
    Pls direct me to the code and documentation, so I can start coding on it.

    >WHy dont you have non confusing names for the products, one is the free Acrobat PDF SDK
    No, it's the Acrobat SDK. This doesn't seem confusing at all: it's an
    SDK for automating/controlling Acrobat, just as the Windows SDK is a
    tool for working with Windows, the Photoshop SDK is a tool for working
    with Photoshop etc. "Free" isn't used in the title, because that would
    be confusing, and might suggest it can be deployed with the free Adobe
    Reader.
    Nevertheless, maybe something could improve it because there are a
    huge number of developer who assume it will work with the Reader or
    without Acrobat, despite its name.
    >and the other is Acrobat PDF LIBRARY SDK, right?
    The other is the Adobe PDF Library. It's a library from Adobe for
    working with PDF. Acrobat is not part of the name. It would be
    confusing if it were. Maybe it could be called the "non-Acrobat PDF
    Library".

    The LOAD command instruction is 0xE8 and not 0xE0/0xE1.
    Lc is one byte, so how can you exceed FF?
    Optionally the LOAD response can include a receipt (delegated management). If your card mandates a response length of 1 byte (Le=01) it means that no receipt is expected --> receipt length 00. JCOPs LOAD command has Le=0x00 set by default --> response length undefined. This is in accordance with Java Card API, which follows the ISO 7816-4 APDU structure.
    Let's look at the help of the JCOP tools upload command:usage: upload [-p|--progress][-c|--components][-r|--random][-l|--package package-name][-s|--sd SD-AID][-m|--params parameters][-b|--block_length length][-a|--auto][-d|--load-debug] CAP-file
    -c|--components
                Load CAP-file component wise.
    -r|--random
                Load with random APDU length.
    -b|--block_length length
                Max. block (APDU) length sent to the card during package upload.
        length  Max. block (APDU) length.So you can set the block length --> Lc as you wish.

  • Where can I find [AIR SDK]/lib/legacy/fdb.jar sources?

    Hi,
    AIR SDK 3.4 and 3.5 distributives that include ActionScript Compiler 2.0 also contain command line debugger tool (fdb) that is able to debug ActionScript workers. Corresponding jar files are [AIR SDK]/lib/legacy/fdb.jar and [AIR SDK]/lib/legacy/legacy-common.jar. Fdb has been an open-source tool for years. Where can I find sources of the most recent fdb versions? Old svn repo is not updated for a long time.

    Thanks, any response from the FDB team?
    How can I contact them directly?
    Are they going to integrate recent changes into Apache Flex SDK repository?

  • Can't find Nokia Music on Lumia 800

    I can't find Nokia Music in the installed applications. I have gone into Marketplace to try and find but can't see it anywhere. Searching for nokia corporation not helping.
    I'm form Denmark and my Lumia 800 is unlocked.

    Hi spaceman2k1,
    Welcome to the forums and thanks for posting!
    Unless it is not available for your region yet, you can check with your local Nokia Care, Nokia Music should indeed be available in the Nokia Collection on Marketplace.
    If the application is not available there I would suggest that you reset the Lumia through Settings>about>reset your phone.
    Before you reset make sure your contacts and calendar are synced with your LiveID. You can sync mediafiles with Zune.
    After the reset make sure you enter your LiveID and Nokia Account when asked and download the app Reinstaller from marketplace which will get all your previously downloaded apps back to the phone.
    You should be able to download Nokia Music now.
    Let me know how you get on,
    Kosh

  • SDK can't find arm-xilinx-eabi-gcc

    I have installed ISE 14.6 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (64-bit). I have been able to generate my design and export it to SDK, but after I create a new standalone_bsp and hello_world project I get the following compliation error:
    make all
    Building file: ../src/helloworld.c
    Invoking: ARM gcc compiler
    arm-xilinx-eabi-gcc -Wall -O0 -g3 -c -fmessage-length=0 -I../../standalone_bsp/ps7_cortexa9_0/include -MMD -MP -MF"src/helloworld.d" -MT"src/helloworld.d" -o "src/helloworld.o" "../src/helloworld.c"
    /bin/sh: 1: arm-xilinx-eabi-gcc: not found
    make: *** [src/helloworld.o] Error 127
     It seems that SDK can't find the arm gcc compiler. Probably a path related issue. This is how I start SDK:
    #!/bin/sh
    source /opt/Xilinx/14.6/ISE_DS/settings64.sh
    export LD_PRELOAD=/opt/Xilinx/usb-driver/libusb-driver.so
    export XIL_IMPACT_USE_LIBUSB=1
    sudo restart udev
    xsdk
    I also made sure the executable existed, which it did under:
    /opt/Xilinx/14.6/ISE_DS/EDK/gnu/arm/lin/bin
    I echoed my $XILINX variable and it points to /opt/Xilinx/14.6/ISE_DS/ISE . I also tried changing it to just /opt/Xilinx/14.6/ISE_DS/ with no success.
    What am I doing wrong?

    Solved my problem. I didn't have the 32-bit support libraries installed. Simply install ia32-libs and try again (didn't even need to restart sdk).

    Problem:- Hi i was trying to gererate a dll through make file using CL command using visual studio 2005 on windows 2008 (64 bit) machine. Although i was able to generate DLL file but while using this DLL file by JNI it was throwing can't find dependent libraries.
    1. I used Dependency walker to check for dependent dll's(error on msvcr80.dll and etc).
    2. On visual studio 2005 there are certain things: Visit link http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms235342(v=vs.80).aspx
    Solution:- I have added mt.exe -manifest ../../generated/MyLibrary.dll.manifest - outputresource:"../../generated/MyLibrary.dll;2" just after CL command ends. it runs successfully....

  • Problem with "Unreferenced Symbol", phase 3, Can't find dependent libraries

    now that I got every thing to work on Solaris, see my previous thread,
    I'm bound to move on to Windows.
    I can compile and link my C++ code but when it comes to execution I get an {color:#ff0000}<strong>UnsatisfiedLinkError</strong>{color}, complaining that it {color:#ff0000}<strong>Can't find dependent libraries</strong>{color}.

    1.what do I need to do to get this to work on Windows?
    2.is it mandatory that dependent libraries are also .dll's on Windows (the library my native code needs is a .lib)?

    Here is exactly what I did, maybe someone can spot what I did wong:
    1) Created AlwaysOnTop like this:
    package alwaysontop;
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    import javax.swing.*;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    public class MainFrame extends JFrame
    static
       System.loadLibrary("AlwaysOnTop");
       //Runtime.getRuntime().loadLibrary("AlwaysOnTop"); //Tried this too...same thing
      public static native void setWindowAlwaysOnTop(String title, boolean flag);
    ...2) I then built the application
    3) I opened a command prompt and went to the classes directory just on top of alwaysontop directory. It looks like this:
    C:\Projects\AlwaysOnTop\classes\alwaysontop
    So, I was in the C:\Projects\AlwaysOnTop\classes level
    3) Next I generated the header file like this:
    javah -jni -classpath alwaysontop MainFrame
    4) Copied MainFrame.h over to the CPP project area.
    5) Created a C file (not a C++, tried that first, then tried C style after reading something that recomended it). This file looks like this:
    #include "jni.h"
    #include "MainFrame.h"
    #include <stdio.h>
    #include <windows.h>
    #pragma argsused

            return;
    }6) Copied the DLL that got generated to thw Windows\System32 directory.
    7) Ran the application from JBuilder.
    8) Got the error...banged head into wall for umteenth time.
    Note that the java.library.path looks like this:
    C:\JBuilderX\jdk1.4\bin;.;C:\WINDOWS\System32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\WBEM;C:\DMI\WIN32\BIN;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDK\Bin\.;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDK\Bin\WinNT\.;C:\JavaSDKs\j2sdk1.4.2_01\bin;C:\Ant\bin; ...
    So the C:\Windows\System32 is there!
    What do I need to do for Java to be able to find the dependant libraries?
    THANKS!

    Make sure your DLL exports a function named exactly
    Java_alwaysontop_MainFrame_setWindowAlwaysOnTop
    without any C++ name mangling or other mismatch. You
    can use a tool like dumpbin for this.
    -slj-
    You might be on to something. I couldn't get dumpbin working (no output...tried several options) so I used another tool and it showed the following as exports:
    Entry Point = 004020F8h
    Ordinal = 1
    Name = __CPPdebugHook
    That is all! The imports look correct, so I think there really is nothing else being exported.
    Here is what my AlwaysOnTop.c file looks like:

    #include <windows.h>
    #pragma argsused
    int WINAPI DllEntryPoint(HINSTANCE hinst, unsigned long reason, void* lpReserved)
            return 1;
    JNIEXPORT void JNICALL Java_alwaysontop_MainFrame_setWindowAlwaysOnTop(JNIEnv *env, jclass obj, jstring strWindowTitle, jboolean bAlwaysOnTop)
            HWND hwnd = NULL;
            const char *str = (*env)->GetStringUTFChars(strWindowTitle,0);
            hwnd = ::FindWindow(NULL,str);
            (*env)->ReleaseStringUTFChars(strWindowTitle,str);
            if (bAlwaysOnTop)
              SetWindowPos((HWND) hwnd,HWND_TOPMOST,0,0,0,0,SWP_NOMOVE|SWP_NOSIZE);
            else
              SetWindowPos((HWND) hwnd,HWND_NOTOPMOST,0,0,0,0,SWP_NOMOVE|SWP_NOSIZE);
            return;
