Can't find "Map as process incoming argument" functionality in BPM Studio

All,
ALBPM Studio 6.0.4 on Vista Home Premium and working through the tutorial.
No issues until I tried to create the instance variable in Activity 3 of http://edocs.bea.com/albsi/docs60/pdf/ALBPM60_Tutorial.pdf
Here is an extract of the step:
7. Select ExpenseReport, and click OK.
The variable type is changed to ExpenseReport.
8. Still in the Variables window (see image below), right-click on the report instance variable, and click Map as
process incoming argument ( ).
This allows the process to receive an expense report object (as created by the Create Expense Report global creation
activity) into the report instance variable.
9. Save your changes.
I do not see this capability called "Map as process incoming argument" in step 8 above.
Can someone assist, please?

Ok, figured out the problem - tricky at least for me.
Coming into this set of steps, I had the ExpenseReport Catalog showing. Once I closed out the Catalog and am looking at the ExpenseReport Process, I see the noted icons in the Instance Variables pane.
This was the key.

Where can I find an example of teh overload functions for the "Createvariable"

I am trying to find a coding example of the overloads for the "CreateVariable" function in Measurement Studio. The goal is to define a variable type at creation time.

You can see the three overloads for the CreateVariable method in the help here: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/372636F-01/mstudiowebhelp/html/3c1ef3de/. I couldn't find an example snippet of code but if you wanted to explicity define the type you need to use CreateVariable(VariableCreationOptions) like this:
string processName = "myProcess";
string variableName = "myVariable";
ServerProcessInfo procInfo = ServerProcess.Create(processName, true);
VariableCreationOptions varOptions = new VariableCreationOptions(processName, variableName);
varOptions.VariableType = typeof(Double); //this is where you specify the type

Can't find Expense Report process in Find Process in Workflow - Urgent

Hi,
I have a submitted expense report. I tried to search for the Expense Report number in the Find Process window in Workflow administrator responsibility.
But it did not give me any result. When I query ap_expense_report_headers_all using below query for the same Expense Report number, i got the data.
select * from ap_expense_report_headers_all where invoice_num = 'WEX308147'
Then i tried searching for the notifications recieved by the Approver of the Expense Report. Enter Approver Name in TO Field in Find Notifications window in Workflow Administrator resp. But no notifications are available in that approver list.
When i query in the APPS.wf_notifications table for notification from this process, i could find that the notification is in closed status.
Can some one help with the pointers, why the Expense Report is not displayed in Find Process window and Notification is not displayed in the Find Notifications window?

Try using the Status Monitor in the Workflow Administrator
use APEXP as the 'Type Internal Name'
change the 'Workflow Started' to 'Today'
The item Key for your workflow should be the expense report number, pick yours and drilldown in to the workflow to see where you it is waiting.

I try to open firefox(i get this message)firefox is already running,but not responding.you must close the existing firefox process,or restart system.I try reboot (no help)I can not find any existing process to close!

When I log on to my wife account (same computer) her firefox opens and preforms just fine. I even unistalled firefox and reinstalled and it does the same thing..

You can kill the process manually by right clicking in the task bar (next to the time and date) and opening the task manager.

Key Figure can't find mapping in transfer rules

Hi,
I am trying to validate some data for datasource 2LIS_12_VCITM. I went through the transfer structure and it has the mapping of LFIMG Actual quantity delivered (in sales units) to 0DLV_QTY. However, when I tried to validate the key figure data, this field LFIMG supposedly has the quantity value for the key figure InfoObject name other than 0DLV_QTY. Why is this? I can't seem to do a 1-to-1 mapping of the key figures to the fields from the R3 table.

In order to run Dragon, we upgraded our OSx to Maverick. Now we can't find our word processing program and Appleworks 6 is not supported. Doesn't a word processing program come with the upload of Maverick?

Not included. You can purchase Pages in the App Store, or use a free word processor like Bean or a free office suite like LibreOffice or OpenOffice (and there's also MicroSoft Office for Mac)

Where can i find maps for 6760s ?

i uninstalled Maps 3.01 because it became a bit buggy. I tried to find a download for maps again for my phone except there are only downloads for the new ovi maps, which my phone isn't compatible. does anyone have the installation for version 3.01? My phone is 6760 slide(s60 3rd FP2)

Getting Started, Can't find the login process

I have a nice shiny new V11 database and I'm trying to get this running.
I can't seem to get to first base. I've successfully 'enabled' the port as described in the docs.
I have also unlocked the Apex public user and XDB in the hopes of shaking something lose all to no avail.
When I try this url http://myserver:8080/apex/apex_admin, I get a login box asking for a user name and password and nothing seems to work.
I've tried "admin", "Apex", "XDB", "APEX_PUBLIC_USER" and none seem to work and I'm pulling my hair out. I never see an AE screen just a login box.
The install is a vanilla EE 11 install using ASM

Have tried running apxxepwd.sql /apxchpwd.sql and then logging in as admin with the new password?

Where can I find animations from the instant movie function?

I would like to use the animations found in the 'instant movie' feature for my video, but I need to do 'manual' since I am messing with the audio and doing two video inputs. Specifically, I'd like to use the ones inside 'Yearbook' theme....the opening of the locker at the beginning and the moving school bus. Is there a way to use these for my 'manual' video? I am using Premier Elements 11.

After the Yearbook Instant Movie is applied to your Timeine, you can right click the Timeline content and select Break Apart Instant Movie. It will do just that.
That Opening Locker appears to be part of a .mpg video file that comes with video and audio components at the very beginning of the Timeline. If this is to be used in another project, you will have to export it first and then import that export into the new project. However...

Where can I find documentation for the HSP* Custom Functions

I can see a number of HSP functions are registered in Essbase but cannot find any documentation for them. I am reluctant to use them for client development without some proper documentation. Does anyone know where it can be found?

Many of these look interesting. Some of them seem obvious, others might have a number of paramenters and options.

Here is the contents of essfunc.xml. A little bit more information than what is available than in EAS; for example regarding function @HspGetMbrCount, it has a limited function prototype "@HspGetMbrCount(StringArray)" and purpose "Returns the member count of the range provided". I got this from Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/essbase1/EssbaseServer/essbaseserver1/java. You can view it more easily in Internet Explorer or vim.

Can't find the place to enable scanning function when I start up the system

My scan to computer is disabled when I start up the computer.....how do I enable it automatically?

Have you installed its software and driver on your computer ? Can you see HP Scan in
Start > All Programs > HP > HP [your printer] > HP Scan ?
You can click HP Scan from there.

Where can i find the R-script created by function sys.rqScriptCreate( )?

if after creating a R-script(or have created so many), i wanna to see which and how many scripts i have created. could somebody tell me how can i get the file , or in which directory they are stored? in database, or in R directory?

The scripts are stored in the database. They can be accessed by selecting from <tt>sys.rq_scripts</tt> view.
