Can't find my book in my library

I've recently had to re-imaged my Dell and I can't find a book that I purchased in my Library. I have searched in the purchased section and there is no record of the book. How can I get it back onto my Library?

Are you signed into he account that purchased the book when you view your purchased items? If you were and it is not listed then there is no way to redownload it. You can only redownload media that are only presently available. Is the book in the iBooks store now?

Apple keeps books for a short time (used to be 40 days. I've not seen a recent time frame)
What version did you have?
Books do nor exist except in the iPhoto database so you can not "find" a book vista TM. You restore a previous library (be sure NOT to overwrite your current library) and switch to it

I'd worked for many hours on a book project in iPhoto '07. Then I updated to '08 and now to '09. I can't find my book project listed anywhere. Is there a way to get it back? Many thanks. Robinbigbird.

You backed up before each of those updates, of course? So the simple thing is to restore from one of those.
When you updated, what exactly did you do? Did you import a Library to a new iPhoto?

You and your husband can share a store account and still have seperate iCloud accounts for your contacts, bookmarks and stuff like that. Click here for instructions to make an apple account without entering a credit card. Make sure you use a different email address for each apple account.
Set up your iPhone/iPad whatever using the new account for iCloud. Then go into settings/store and sign in with your purchasing account, you may need to sign out of the other account. To the best of my knowledge, your household is allowed to share purchased legally, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Once you each have your own devices set to your own accounts you can set them to backup to that account and it will keep all your contacts seperate.

Where are ICC profiles stored in Aperture? Formerly they were stored in the home map. I make my own ICC profiles, with Color Munki. I can't find them back in the /library/colorSync/Profiles. I'm using a Canon printer iPF5100

Are you looking in the System Library folder /Library/colorSync/Profiles at the top level of your system drive?
As you probably know, your User Library is hidden since Mac OS X Lion.
You can reveal it from the Finder's "Go" menu in the main menu bar:
Finder > Go
Then hold down to options-key ⌥, until Library appears in the drop-down menu. Select it and open the Library.

You'll need to make sure the format will work with iBooks or one of the reader apps when you download.
Start with the free books and go on from there.

I can't find purchased songs in Music Library or in Recently Added. The purchases are on my account.

I can't find purchased songs in Music Library or in Recently Added. I have searched my library but they are not there. Itunes says that all recently purchased items have been downloaded. Where are the songs?

I don't know how, but this problem resolved itself for me. If you don't see the downloads go to Documents, My Music, iTunes and then scrounge around to see if you can find a file with new downloads in there. Then you can drag them to the iTunes icon.
Then try shutting down iTunes, and your computer and restart to see if this issue fixes itself. I know, only a Mackie would think that a computer could fix itself.

PDF is the worst of all formats to convert to anything else. iBooks Author can't convert anything anyway. What is it you really want to end up with?
In general, when you can't find something in the iBookstore (which doesn't carry pdf format at all), you should look in the other stores like Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Googlebooks, Sony.

open itunes on your phone, click purchased, and choose books or audio books. it should be there.

Sorry, but unless you're willing to pay for them again, you're out of luck unless the iTunes Store is willing to grant you an exception. As RG said, Apple has not been granted a license to allow redownloading of audiobooks. You can contact the iTunes Store here and ask:

but don't be surprised if they say "no", and it may take a couple of days before you get a response at all other than the automated acknowledgement of your submission.
