Can't find my device on finder?
hi there, i have several problem to ask this time
i was surfing through my hard drive plugged as a device to my MacBook Air, unfortunately i have hit the hide(same meaning section) then my device has been hidden. i have tried all over to show it again. but certainly it has plugged coz when i unplug it, mac requires to eject the device... What should i do...
Secondly, my mac isn't a big sized one therefore i have to keep all my work and files on hard drive ... so how can i copy all my items to hard drive ... not using back up utility... when i copy files and try to paste on device it doesn't show any paste section... What is the file size limit? any option to send file to device in easy way?
Third of all, I bought new printer HP Laserjet M1213nf MFP... i only can use its printer in airprint mode which means i have to keep my printer beside the router, i tried to install printer to my Mac, but it doesn't work. i have tried HewletPackardPrinter software from apple page...
Please advice me i'm new user of MAC try to work it simple please do not let me hate to use MAC it already became complicated to me

No app is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
- Apple will do nothing without a court order

Can I setup 2 devices, with different iCloud accounts, on "Find My iPad" app?

I am new to the iPad/iPhone world (bit of a late convert!!), and I have tried searching for the answer to this but I can't find the specific answer...but apologies if this has been covered before.
I have an iPad, and the wife has an iPhone. We both have separate Apple IDs and iCloud accounts. We both have just downloaded the "Find My iPhone" app. It looks great, but we would like to be able to view both devices from the same account. Is it possible, where we both have separate iCloud accounts? Or, are we both able to setup a third 'joint' iCloud account on our devices, that we only use for the "Find My iPhone" app?
Any help, for this 'newbie', would be greatly appreciated.

GlennYou can only use the "find my phone" feature with one iCloud account. In order to be able to find your partner's phone using the app on yours, you would need to log into her account in the "find my phone".
If all you are merely interested in, is knowing the location of each other, there is another app called "find friends" that may be of interest to you. -
Macbook pro can't find the audio device
Lately I have been having trouble with the audio. The sound doesn't work on the Macbook, and it can't seem to find any devices!
I tried plugging in headphones, but nothing helped.
In the time leading up to this fault, the sound in the mini jack was very poor, and sounded really bad.
When I plug my TV to the computer, by HDMI, I works fine. Even with sound.
Any suggestions?
Oh, and I can't adjust the sound - it simply tells me that there is no device.I've tried that, and I can't choose anything.
As I said, it can't find any devices. Tried to Reset SMC and PRAM - non helped -

If you didn't set up Find My iPhone in the iCloud settings, then you can't. Notify the police and change the password to your Apple ID and any other online services you used from that iPhone, just as a precaution.

Can't find devices on iTunes libraries, after turning on home sharing ?
Home Sharing only allows you to share your iTunes library from computer-to-computer or from computer-to-iOS devices not from iOS device-to-computer.

VISTA - can;t find device driver for your IPOD - read the solution here!
It would appear that VISTA is rather stupid when it comes to the Ipod - it can't find the driver for itself. Do the normal autmatic way of trying to find the driver (that doesn't find the device) then look in the hardware device list (control panel) you should see you Ipod listed under other devices with a yellow triangle next to it. Right click this line and select "properties". then click "update device driver". Then, DON'T do the automatic find, instead click "I will choose the device from a list". Click on "storage device" and voila! VISTA now finds a USB mass storage device and installs it - JOB DONE! HOORAY!

I tried this as well. I can find a Generic Volume (I think it lists SD, MMC- neither of which seem correct), but neither of those helps. iPod still isn't recognized as a drive even in disc mode. I started another thread after not finding this one. I'm not sure why USB Mass Storage device isn't one of the options. -
Windows Can't find Device Driver Softw
I just got a Zen 6GB media player, and I installed the Media Explorer software from the cd that came with it, charged the player via the computer, but I can't load anything on to the player because everything says it is still not connected. The reason for this seems to be that when I plug it in, windows cannot install the device's driver software. It starts searching for the drivers, but can't find them. In window's device manager it lists under Portable Devices a MTP Device, but it has the yellow exclamation point on it. And when you look at the devices details it says "This Device cannot start. (Code 0)"
Does anyone have any idea if there is some way I can get the drivers elsewhere and point windows to them? I'm not sure what to do. All the related software says there is no device connected, since the computer won't recognize it without any driver information I guess. Any help would be very much appreciated.
I have Windows Vista and everything is up to date as far as I am aware.

I need help before i go to the apple store for help.
My problem is that I have an Ipod touch which it was working fine but now it will not boot all the way.
It will not show the red bar when is ready to be turn off or reboot when using both buttons to reset it it will only come to the apple logo then goes blank.
I tried to restore via Itunes but same result, it will start showing is doing the extract then it will go blank and get a message saying that It can not find the device.
What do i need to do.

- Inspect the dock connector for bend or missing contacts, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

How can I find out what my security answers are? I am trying to purchase an app on a new device and it won't let me without answering and I have totally forgotten

You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > Password and Security.
I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose. -
Where is iTunes Match content stored on apple TV? I recently joined itunes match and it is working on my ios devices, but I can't find my uploaded music on Apple TV
It isn't actually stored anywhere, it needs to be downloaded from the internet before any content can be played.
iTunes Match content is accessed through the 'Music' icon on the main screen though, it needs turning on though in settings first. -
Help!!! I installed the 10.5 update and now itunes can't find my library or recognize my devices. Running on Windows 7.
For moving your iTunes library, I recommend this method...
Assuming you use the iTunes default settings where iTunes copied added items to your iTunes folder and organizes your library (meaning - everything is all self contained in the iTunes folder), then all you have to do is drag & drop your iTunes folder (not just the iTunes Music folder you find inside the iTunes folder) to the external drive and copy the entire thing.
If you want to test that it worked or would like to actually start using it from that location instead, use these instructions when you start iTunes to point it to the new location...

If you are just testing, then close iTunes after you verify it works, and restart iTunes again with the same instructions and point it back to your internal drive (original) location.

I want to transfer an audiobook and a movie from my MacBook Pro to my iPhone 4S, and can't figure out how. I went to "Help" and it said after connecting the two devices I should "Click Apps," but I can't find anything labeled "Apps" to click. Help?!!
If you have iTunes 11 on your Mac then you can enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S, that might make it easier to navigate.
Connect the phone to your Mac and select it on that left-hand sidebar, and on the right-hand side of the screen there should be a series of tabs which you can use to select what to sync to the phone. If it's an audiobook then it should appear on the Books tab for selecting/syncing, and films will be on the Movies tab. When you've got the audiobook on your phone you should get an Audiobooks option in the Music app (you might need to tap the '...' tab at the bottom of the Music app to see it). -
I shoot on a canon 5d mk11 and I record my audio on an external device yet when I open up my footage in final cut pro x I can't find my external audio files only the ones attached to the clip which are off the camera mic

Ipod Touch can't find Bluetooth device. (Jam Box)
Upgraded Itunes software did a backup and restore on the Ipod.
My PC sees Jam Box fine. IPod used to work with JamBox. Reset Jambox, no luck.
Followed every instruction from the forums. Still no luck.
