After aan easy upgrade to ios5.1.1 I can not find my downloaded movies after upgrade ipad2 iOS 5.

You are looking in the videos app - correct?
If they are not in there - try this ....
Swipe to the right from your first home screen to get to the iPad Spotlight search. Type in the name of any of your movies in the field at the top. If a movie appears in the search - tap on it and it should hopefully start to play. Let it play for a minute or so - hit done - go back to videos app and see if all is OK and if the rest of your movies have appeared.
If they still do not show up - sync them back from iTunes on your computer.

Did you try to reset the ipod by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again?
Sometimes it can also help to download a free app from the Store onto your ipod.

On an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch it should download into the Videos app (iTunes on iOS devices is just the iTunes store) - if it's not in the Videos app then have you got a film age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding it ?

It should be in the Videos App. If you made the purchase from the Apple TV you need to re-download it to the iPad using the purchased section of the iTunes App and then it will be in the Videos App

Whether you can redownload the film depends upon what country that you are in, whether the film is still in your country's store, and whether the studio allows redownloading. Does it show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for redownloading ? If not, and if the film is still in your country's store, then is it hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919 ?
If you can't redownload it then you will need to copy it from your backup of your downloads/library that you should be keeping and maintaining.

I can't get my iPad 2 to download apps after I upgraded to ios 6. Every time I try it says that I have to make my account more secure send therefore make 3 questions and answers. I do that, but when I am ready to press done it says my session has run out and I have to start all over:0(
Can anybody pls help??

Can't turn off Rotation Lock after upgrade to iOS 8

After upgrading iPad to iOS 8, the device is locked in portrait mode. I assume this is what "Rotation Lock" means. In Settings, Rotation Lock is checked and cannot be changed. I don't have this problem with my iPod Touch. What is the fix?

They are not connected.
Mute and rotation lock are independent. However, as I said above, they can be controlled by the same side switch, but it depends on what said switch is set to in Settings->General->Use Side Switch For.

I can't agree to the terms after upgrading to iOS 7.0.3 because my phone is giving me a defunct Apple ID - help!

I upgraded to iOS 7.0.3. When I switch on my phone again it asks me to sign in with my Apple ID.
This is fine - except that it's giving me the email address I was using six months ago. I have never used that Apple ID with this phone, and it's no longer associated with my iCloud account.
Because I can't sign in, I also can't agree to the terms and conditions. This means that I can't use my phone.
This is beyond upsetting, I don't even have an alarm clock for tomorrow morning! How can I get it to prompt me using the current email address for my Apple ID? I've logged into my Apple ID on the site and the former address isn't associated with the account in any way, so I don't know where it's getting this old data from.
Of course all Apple stores in my city are booked solid until Monday. I cannot wait that long.
Any help would be really appreciated!

The fix is to log into your current account. Go to appleid.apple.com and change the primary email and apple id back to the old email address (doesn't matter if you have it any longer). Once the change is made, then enter your password for that account on the device. Once you get in, go ahead and go back to appleid.apple.com and change it back. That fixed mine.

I have a macbook pro from 2009. I recently upgraded to Yosemite and now it won't read my external drive (Toshiba). I am able to find it in disk utility but I am not able to open it. The device works fine in other computers. I have all my pictures there. How can I fix this problem?

Can't find location on iPad after upgrade

Upgraded yesterday to iOS 8.1, and now my iPad "can't determine location" . Find my iPhone turned on, location services enabled. First tried to reset settings, then tried erasing all settings and data, then load backup. Finally did a restore via iTune, still no joy. Anyone else have the same problem?

I Have the same problem. Talked to Apple servcie rep and was told to do a few things, none worked. I even backup to iCloud and erased everything on my iPad, locations service still not working. Strange thing it works at another location, rep told me I probably have a hardware problem. That's crazy, since it works at the other location using wifi there. I was also told I could get a replacement iPad for $299.00 plus tax, ha, I'm on a fixed income and that is out of the question. Wish Apple would get their act together.
