Can't find my Find window - DW MX 2004

My Find/Replace window seems to have drifted off the screen.
I can activate it, taking focus away from the Dreamweaver designer
page and I see an icon for it in my task bar. But I can't find it
anywhere on the screen.
How do I get it back?
In the past, the window has drifted off to the lower right
corner of the screen before I've brought it back to the center. But
this time it has disappeared completely. I tried setting the
resolution really high to see if it might be lurking out of view.
But it's nowhere to be found.

On Windows, delete the Find/Replace Registry key so the
window uses
default placement:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX
2004\Find And Replace

If you can't download, go to Network control panel and check your settings there, look to see if there is more than one interface listed. And turn off "Auto-proxy setting" and see if that helps, it does in half the cases.
The only thing really needed would be a small Apple Software Update for Windows program to pull the drivers down while running Windows. Just that one program, which could update itself as happen with 2.0 and 2.1 version.
As it is, downloads can take 8 hrs for a tiny 620MB package. Strange. True. Been like this.

Hi Jai,
For windows, you can download "SAP NetWeaver 7.01 SR1 SP3 ABAP Trial Version" and "SAP NetWeaver 7.01 - ABAP Trial Version ". Only 7.01 trial is available for download for Windows. 7.0 trial is only available for Linux.
These are available on the same page as the ones you've seen.

Gethostbyname can't find Windows hosts on network?

Hi,
(OS X 10.4.8 + all latest updates)
Should gethostbyname be able to resolve Windows host names?
I'm writing a command line tool that uses gethostbyname - internet hosts get resolved e.g. www.apple.com, as do local Mac hosts. But gethostbyname can't find Windows hosts. Ping and other network utilities also have the same problem, so I 'm guessing it's not just me!
I have Windows Sharing turned on, and I can mount Windows shares using the host name.
Am I expecting too much here? Or is there some configuration I'm just not setting somewhere?

Yes - it's pretty easy - just have to enter a domain name and DNS server IP address in the DHCP configuration...

So looking at different scenarios for enabling WinRM / PSRemote. Find all kinds of information on how to do it... stoked right!? Not so much, I can't find Windows Remote Management (WinRM) where it should be, or anywhere else. WTF? Any ideas here kids?And

Any ideas how can install an old Canon BJC80 printer on mac osx 10.5 can only find windows drivers on the disk or on canons website!

Hi have just got a second hand Canon BJC-80 laptop printer and am trying to install on an imac running 10.5 I have been on the canon website and can only find drivers for windows based operating systems. Tried the add printer but nothing in the list. help.

I think the sitation with the Canon BJC-80 is a little confused. I think the Canon web site is confused.
I get conflicting information. I suggest trying Gutenprint and Gimp-Print for Mac OS X. Gimp-Print is the older name for Gutenprint.
I haven't had much luck with Gimp-Print. Hopefully you will do better.

Bootcamp can't find windows 7 disc

Okay so the issue I'm having is this: I have Windows 7 x64 Professional burned to a disc. Everytime I go to hit install on Bootcamp assisant it states that it can't find my windows disc. I tried other Windows disc and the same exact thing happen. Is there a way to manually duel boot instead of using Bootcamp cause this *****! I've been going at it for 4 hours now.

The Migration Assistant is open on a Windows XP computer and "waiting for your Mac to connect", and the Mac is searching but they can't find each other. What should I do to help them? Both are on the same ethernet.

I haven't tried since my post to get our printer to work (ended up sending my doc to Staples, in the interest of time, and haven't had to print anything since).
Anyway, this morning I replaced our ink and tried printing something. It still wasn't working (but this time, all it said was the printer wasn't connected). I reconnected the printer to the network, then turned it off, restarted our computer, and once the computer was back up, I turned the printer back on.
The printer appeared in our network, again, and my printing job was successful. Yay! I LOVE when technology works. =)

Assuming this Windows 8 Enterprise machine isn't locked down with Group Policy.
This type of problem usually requires that you change the lanman server parameters in order to get Windows 8 working with older servers. Do these adjustments on the Windows 8 machines that needs to connect to the server.

Local Policies - Security Options
Network security: LAN Manager authentication level
Set to Send LM & NTLM responses only
Set the Minimum session security for NTLM SSP
Disable Require 128-bit encryption
Reboot all machines after making the adjustment.

I have checked the Toshiba website but unfortunately it seems that there are no Windows 7 32bit drivers, only for 64bit Windows 7.
But have you tried the Vista 32bit drivers? Normally the most of them should work.

FaceTime says it's running but can't find window anywhere

Hey, Facetime for Mac has worked fine for me forever, but now when I try and open it it says it's open but I can't find it anywhere and it doesnt seem to actually be running. I've tried closing and reopening it multiple times, as well as restarting the computer. No updates show up in the app store either.

Can't find windows files or folders that were migrated

I'm new to mac. Used migration assistant to transfer my data files and folders from windows 7 system. The files are there as I can search for a specific file and find it but I don't see any of the folders or files in finder. I have reviewed other forum entries asking questions like this and answers seem to direct folks to another user account but I don't have another user account on this system after migrating. Help!
