Can't find my imported music on my laptop

I was unable to log in to my laptop - "user profile could not load........." Anyway, once I'd fixed this issue, I opened iTunes to find I only had the option to download music from the cloud. Anything I did have in my library, is not there. It doesn't appear in my music folder (iTunes) but when I search on the laptop, it says it is there but I don't see it. HELP!!! lol

The listings in iTunes are irrelevant to the content physically existing on the computer.
Either the content is on the computer or it is not.
If it is, locate it via iTunes.
If it is not, restore it from the backup of the computer.

I AM NOT A COMPUTER WHIZ AT ALL, SO PLEASE BE VERY CLEAR HOW I CAN ACCOMPLISH THIS FEAT. PLEASE HELP, AS I AM MISSING MY ITUNES!

Rebooting computers does not cause files to disappear.
Goofy fonts do not encourage others to read or respond.

Ive had to reboot my Apple TV before I had the option to enable iTunes Match but it did not see my music library. I tried a second reboot and it still says my music library is empty. Its been several days and I can access my library on a Windows PC, my Mac and my iPad so Im all synced up, my Apple TV apparently just wants to be stubborn.

What's available is what the record companies and artists have licensed Apple to sell in your country. There is no genre for "acoustic" or "unplugged", though, so what is there may be a bit tricky to find. You can try doing a Power Search with "unplugged" or "acoustic" in the album title field, but that will of course only find those albums which have those words actually in the title. Otherwise, you may have to look for album titles for acoustic music on some other site and then look for the specific album in the iTunes Store.

Not all content types are available in all countries - in each country Apple can only sell what they are licensed to (and in some cases what a country's laws allows them to). A list of what is available where is shown on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3599

Even though I have repaired, deinstalled and reinstalled itunes, the assitent still tells me that I can't burn or import music due to an incomplete installation... I have been using itunes for years now and never had a problem...who can help??? thx

Do you know the date they were taken? Try search on that.

I should say that I am doing this on the iPhone4 and not a laptop.

I believe that there is an app called MxTube that lets you download high quality youtube videos to your iPhone

The reason, I included the annotation that I'd upgraded my Itunes, (On my Computer) is B/C in many forums - the very first question, *HELPERS* ask, is. "Do you have the latest version of Itunes downloaded on your computer." I wanted to knock out any obvious replies.
Now- "DO YOU have any idea,"... how your UNHELPFUL remarks, do absolutely nothing but hurt others that might not have the EXPERIENCE you have? How do you expect people to know things without asking questions? Whew! RUDE!!

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your purchased album.
First, I recommend trying to download the album from you list of past purchases. Use the steps in the section titled "Download previous purchases on Mac or PC > iTunes Store" in the following article:

If you have tried those steps and still do not see the album, it may be that the album is hidden. Follow the steps below in iTunes on your computer to check if it is hidden and unhide it:
To unhide your purchases
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
If you're not already signed in, choose Store > Sign in.
Choose Store > View My Account. (You may be asked to enter your password again).
On your Account Information summary, scroll down to the "iTunes in the Cloud" section and click Manage.
Choose a content type by clicking Music, TV shows, Apps, or Books from the top.
Click the Unhide button next to the item you would like to restore.
Note: If the item you are unhiding is not already downloaded on your computer locally, it will begin downloading automatically.
