Can't find my podcasts.

IOS 7.1 here.  I supposedly successfully put a bunch of podcasts on my phone using iTunes on my desktop, but I can't actually find them on my phone.  They aren't in the Music app.  Where should I be looking?

Install the Podcasts app from the app store. Podcasts no longer appear in the music app.

  • I can't find the podcast I put on my iPod in iTunes to be deleted

I've subscribed to a few podcasts and they seem to be filed in a different place on my iPod than on iTunes. I solved this problem for listening purposes by making a SmartPlaylist on my iPod so I could listen to the weekly podcast. But now that I've listened to it, I would like to delete last week's episode to clear room for next week's. But the only place I can find the podcast listed on my iPod when it's connected to iTunes is under that SmartPlaylist, and that won't allow me to delete the podcast episode off my iPod, only from the playlist. How can I find the podcast to delete it?

in itunes click on the podcast menu on the left side of the main menu. from there you should be able to find the episode you wish to delete adn you can delete it from there. then upon the next sync with your ipod and itunes the episode should be deleted from the ipod.

  • Can't find my podcast/Editing Podcast

I recieved the email telling me that apple accepted my podcast and that it'd be posted in a few hours and it contained a link to click to see when the podcast was up and running. I clicked the link and podcast was in the store and sent the link to some other friends who were also able to subscribe to the podcast... now here's my problems:
    1. When I do the power search I can't find my podcast... does anyone have and Ideas on how to find it?
    2. When I submitted my RSSFEED.xml I forgot to give it an author and description so I updated the RSSFEED.xml and reposted it.... my question is how long SHOULD it take for it update that info?

The best thing to do is - once you finish your feed - check it out at http://feedvalidator.org/ - and it will show you how it checks out.
Send me a link to your feed - and I'll check it out. My email is [email protected]
    Good luck!

  • Can't find my Podcast in Apple Store

I have successfully uploaded the xml-file for my podcast and Apple told me that it has been approved:
    http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=202329789
However, I can't find it in the Apple store using the search butto, neither by using my name "Vornberger" nor by using the title "Algorithmen".

    My apologies, wrong link.
A proper example of said 'promotion .sig' would look like this:
DLMeyer - the Voice of G.L.Horton's Stage Page
They look the same on the page, but this version links directly to our iTunes 'page'
    http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=175471687
rather than to the supporting site. Part of my point being "they only need to know what you are going to show them, not where you are taking them".

  • I can not find the podcast on itunes?

We resibmitted this same aproved podcast to upload an image over a week ago but still no response, any way to follow up?
This is our link but can't find it on iTunes. Has
it been removed if so why is this link still available?
    feed://blog.cherrybombkillerperfume.com/podcasts-only/rss2.aspx

If your podcast has been submitted and approved you don't need to submit it again when you make a change, you just reupload the feed - that's all you need to do.
However your image URL is not valid because it has a space in it: spaces are not allowed in a URL and you need to remove them or replace them with a hyphen or underscore.
Your media file also has spaces in the filename, but here the feed has correctly substituted the code %20 for each space so it works: however you should stop putting spaces in your filenames, it's asking for trouble.
Other than the image URL the feed is OK. I can't find it by searching on the title - you say it was approved: you should have received an email giving you the URL of the Store page: do you have this and does it produce any result? Are you sure it has actually been approved? - this can take several weeks and I see your first episode is dated only a week ago.

sometimes i can find them in Recently added, but even if they are there, i can never find them under Podcasts option? it has always remained empty

  • Can't find my podcast anywhere in the store!

    Hey everyone
Noob to the forums posting here, so sorry if I break any protocol.
    Info
    Feed: http://thrivechurchrangiora.podbean.com/feed/
    iTunes Feed ID: 506558433
Everytime I go to find the podcast in the itunes store it says something to the affect of, "This item is not currently available in COUNTRY'S store. Would you like to switch to ANOTHER COUNTRY'S store?"
I've made sure the feed is valid. Can anyone help? Do I need to supply anymore info?
    Thanks,
    Conor

It does look as if the feed has been removed. There's no obvious reason why - there appear to be no technical problems (it can be subscribed to manually) and though I've not listened to any of it, it seems unlikely that there is any content of the sort that can get you removed (unacceptable sexual content, copyright breach, racism and so on).
It might have been removed in error - it's not common but not unknown either. You could try emailing Support at podcasts 'at' apple.com, though I'm afraid their helpfulness level is very variable. Failing that you would have to resubmit it as a new podcast, which would entail changing the title slightly to prevent the 'already submitted' bug.

  • Where can i find my podcast in this system

i dont know how to find my podcast-clip in this system, ios7?

Oh.. and sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, i did not know where was the right place, sorry..

  • Can't find my podcast by search

I posted a test podcast and got approved and searchable in itunes store. I then made a new podcast that I'm using that was approved. I took down the url for the test podcast, but it still shows up in a search, yet it's not playable (obviously). But my new podcast isn't searchable in itunes. I made the mistake of using the same <title> for both. I've emailed apple via the way the say to remove a podcast on their tech page, but the test one is still coming up in a search, and my new one isn't??? any help other than renaming my new podcast's title.

I also cannot find my podcast that was approved on 9/5 in searching podcasts whether by my name in any combination, the title of the podcast What You Know Is Worth More Than U Know (or a part of that title), the genre, business, etc.
It looks like all the episodes are there and my podcast art and all are fine as is the validation of my feed. Any suggestions on next steps or am I premature in expecting it to be in search after "1-2 days" as Apple said in their approval message?
    My itunes link is http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=290378087
    Thanks kindly.

  • Can't find downloaded podcast in ios 7

Downloaded the new ios 7 and downloaded podcast in iTunes. Moved it over to my phone but can't locate the podcast, where is it?? Under ios 6 there used to be a tab in the music app in the more tab that read podcast. I don't see one that says that in ios 7.

Whoops, I wrote my reply un a completely different thread^^. What I wanted to say here is:
Same issue here...Searching for the Podcasts that have been on the phone prior to updating and for new ones I tried to add afterwards. Can't add the Podcast category item in the Music app
App and Phone reboot didn't help.

  • I can't find my podcast via Search in iTunes store.

I created an RSS feed which works fine in iTunes and was accepted by the iTunes store.  The link they provided works fine, but after one week I still can't find it via a search?

It's not uncommon for it to take some days before it can be found by searching. Give it some time and have another try.

  • I can't find my podcast using search

Hello, I recently started a podcast and submitted the rss feed to itunes. It was approved. I have the podcast store page. I can subscribe to it, and download each of the episodes. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to find it using search.
I've tried the name of the podcast, the name of the podcast in quotes. It contains the word "three" yet most of the results list something with the number "3".
I'd just like to know what to tell people to search so they can find it. It gets exhausting having to give them the entire link via text or email just to get them to be able to find it on itunes.

It takes between 7 and 14 days for new shows - to show up in any search results.
If you received the email with the direct link to your page over 2 weeks ago - please post that link here so we can see what your show title is in your RSS feed.
If it has been less than 2 weeks - please be patient while the iTunes store re-indexes to add in new shows.

  • I can't find my podcasts in my iTunes app. I've checked under the 'more' tab but they aren't there. Help!

I've looked under the 'more' tab in iTunes and the podcasts aren't there. The only way I can find them is if I search the individual podcasts. How do I get them back into my iTunes app?

Well, in the iTunes app on my iPhone 4, I was able to search for "podcast" and get back a huge list of podcasts.  Once I selected one of them, it offered to "Open in PodCasts app", so that seems to work.  In the PodCasts app, it is fairly easy to search for podcasts, but I can't say that the app is the most intuitive to use.  I've struggled through with it since iOS 6 was released, and it seems to be workign better now with the latest few updates, but I have still found a few issues with it...

  • I can't find my podcast on my phone since the new upgrade

I can see the podcast when i hook up to the computer, but no longer on my phone. How do I find it?

I would like to show the devices' status whenever I select iTunes on my Mac.
First, the devices would have to be connected ...
Additionally, do all your devices use an Apple ID that has been authorized on your Mac?  If not, go to Store > Authorize This Computer in iTunes' menu and make sure the devices' Apple IDs are authorized.
