Can't find my published iBook

Received message that my first free iBook was delivered. I can't find it anywhere. Is there a normal delay?

I have had the same problem, and from the responses I have had to the question it seems it is universal with no way of getting publishing support. Very unhappy situation

  • After publish Android Application in Google Play Can't find any publish issue in app.

After publish Android Application in Google Play Can't find any publish issue in app. The Product ID is match, The Email Address in Folio Builder is match but is there necessary that DPS account have to match with Google Play Developer Account? Please Help

Are the folios published as Public? Are the folios free or retail? If retail, did you create an in-app billing Product ID in Google Play that is an exact match for the published folio? Is the "Title ID" you specified the same account you used to create the folios? Did you turn on Strict Renditions when you built the app?

  • Why can't I find my published ibook in the store?

I've used the iBooks author to write a short Q&A about wedding videography and included some stills and a bit of video. I then used the ITunes Producer to upload it to the Apple store. I want to inlude a link to this on my website for a free download but I can't seem to find it in the store, even though it says it's uploaded OK, any suggestons or help would be really helpful.

Can I remove my book and re upoad it?
You can re-upload it, but you do not need to remove the original first. The new upload will overwrite & replace the existing book.
No way of knowing what the "unknown issue" is? Sounds like my first marriage.  - Fabe

  • Can't find my published iCal calendar

    Hello,
I published two iCal calendars from my Mac at home, but when I try to pull it up from my PC at work using the url format "http://ical.mac.com/username/calendar" I get "We're sorry but we cannot find the iCal you've requested. It's possible that it has been deleted or renamed."
I'm sure that I'm using the right calendar and username -- checked the spelling a dozen times.
It worked one time and I bookmarked one of my calendars. The bookmark works even though the generic url does not, but I didn't bookmark the second calendar, so I can't get to it.
I tried substituting the second calendar name for the first in the bookmark url, but that doesn't work either.
Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?
    Thanks.
    Powerbook   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

    Seems funny,
Have you checked in ical the the page is being published, should be a little icon to the right of the calendar...
If this is all ok, check that its still there by either right clicking or control clicking on the published calendar and choosing 'Show calendar on .mac" at least then you know that it is still there.

  • Where can I find my published sites

I made two sites in iWeb and published them on my idisk (mobileme). Now I want to edit them, but I can not open them. Where do I find them on muy hard disk and why can't I choose "open with iWeb"on my idisk? IWeb has no option open site" or "open file" in the file menu.

iWeb stores your website data in a Domain.sites2 file whose default location is Home Folder/Library/Application Support/iWeb.
Opening iWeb should open the last Domain file that you worked on if you have more than one.
If the Domain file is not in the default folder, do a Spotlight search for it. When you find it, double click it to launch it in iWeb.

  • HT4759 Can't find books on iBooks

I am unable to get my books on iBooks  .
haven't had problems in the past

iCloud requires OS X Lion (10.7.4) or higher.  If you're running Snow Leopard, you'll have to either purchase Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store if your system will run it, or purchase a download code for Lion from the Apple online store (1-800-MYPPLE IN THE U.S.) that will enable you to download it from the Mac App Store.  If your system won't run Lion you won't be able to sign into your iCloud account on your Mac.
Photos will only stream to your Mac if you are signed into your iCloud account, have photo stream enabled, and are running either iPhoto 9.2 or higher or Aperture 3.2 or higher.
This article explains how to set up iCloud on your Mac: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/mac.html.

  • Can't find my published website

    Hi,
After creating my dreamweaver website, i clicked on 'manage sites' and under 'remote info' for my site, i selected 'local/network' access to publish to the web. Beforehand, i followed instructions to start the macintosh web server 'Apache'.
I was a bit confused as to which folder to select as my remote folder. I clicked on the folder icon and chose the same folder i am using as my local folder. I'm not sure if this was right.
Now where is my published website? If i go to Apple - System Preferences - Sharing and click on either of the addresses i was given when i turned web sharing on, my website doesn't appear as i predicted it would.
What am i doing wrong? Please help. Thanks,
    Erin.

    Hello Erin
Remote info is the section of site management you use to tell DW where you live site is.  So in my sites, thats where I put my host details for FTP.  If  you are using Apache on your own PC you need to look at the Testing Server.
This tutorial is listed in the forum FAQ page and will tell you what you need to know.  If you have Apache set up on you machine you could skipp to page 5 where there's a section on settin up DW to use your installation.
    I hope that helps

  • Where can I find free iBook in the iBook store ?

Where can I find a free iBook for iPad2 User Manual?

    Bob...
They are available in PDF format >   http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipad to view from your Mac.
You can download iPad user guides from iTunes then sync with your iPad.
    Open iTunes.
Type in:  ipad user guide   in the search field top right corner of the iTunes window.
There are two available. One for the iOS 4.3 and iOS 5
They will be installed to the iBook library on the iPad once they have downloaded and synced.

  • Where can I see a sample iBook.

I do not have any other Apple device but an iMac (running 10.6.8).   I do not want to upgrade or (yet) buy an iPad.
So where (using my iMac) can I find a typical iBook to examine and determine what should be my target in terms of preparing my own novel for possible ePublication.
I seem to be going round in circles with iPhone and iPad / IOS ... and it appears iBooks are not available with the facility I have anyway.
Being very pro Apple in every other sense, I am reluctant to go elsewhere before researching the possibilities with Apple ... but I'm not finding it easy.   Perhaps I'm just not digging deep enough.

    Bump.

  • Can't find my iBook I published into iTunes

Hi everyone:) I've got the following problem: I have created a book, downloaded Producer, ran through the process of publishing and all seemed to have been done with a 'Successful upload' to iTunes information. But when I go to iTunes I can't find my book at all. Any answers/help/suggestions why?

I have had the same problem, and from the responses I have had to the question it seems it is universal with no way of getting publishing support. Very unhappy situation

  • I am confused about something.  How do I read a book on my MacBook Pro?  I can't find the iBook app anywhere, which is what I use on my iPad.  The book I want to read is in my iTunes but I can't click on it.  My iBook library does not show up in iTunes.

I am confused about something.  How do I read a book on my MacBook Pro?  I can't find the iBook app anywhere, which is what I use on my iPad.  The book I want to read is in my iTunes but I can't click on it.  Some of my iBooks show up in my iTunes but they are "grayed" out.  The only books that respond in iTunes are audiobooks and that's not what I'm looking for.  Is this a stupid question?

Nevermind - I answered my own question, which is I CAN"T READ ANY BOOKS I purchased in iBooks on my MacBook Pro.  If I want to read on my mac I have to use Kindle or Nook.  Which means any book I've already purchased through iBooks has to be read on my iPad.  Kind of a drag because there are times when it's more convenient for me to read while I'm sitting with my Mac.

  • How can I find a list of printers that will work with my iBook version=2.2?

I need to print out a book I wrote on my old iBook...got rid of my Epson Stylus 62 and can't find a list on the iBook that says what other printers it will take. I have access to an old Dell 922 and am wondering if that can be hooked up and used to get the book printed without having to go to get info recovered and pay a lot of money. Thanks for any help!

    Oldmac
You should be able to connect  the Dell 922 (c.2004) to your iBook Jaguar(c.2002) - you may see the problem... finding a driver for the Dell922 may be a BIG obstacle as Jaguar pre-dates the Dell922 - thus, no built-in driver in the OSX  - it may be that some Dell driver will work but I would not bank on it.
    Alternatives:
What is stopping you from connecting iBook to the Internet?
What Mac or PC do you have now? Connect via network cabling? > transfer file (what Application?) > print ?
put your file on a thumb drive and transfer it to another's computer - friend, FedExOffice Store, etc.
    Think outside the box...

  • Where can I find a power charger for my G3 ibook

Just broke my 4 year old g3 iBook power charger by walking into the cord and snapping it off at the power source. Where can I find a replacement power cord charger for this 750pc G3 iBook?

There are third party choices for an adapter, also:
    MCE Technologies
    http://www.madsonline.com/index.html?
    MacAlly adapter at Amazon.com
Micro Accessories adapter at Other World Computing
Apple's is the only one with the glowing ring to indicate charging status, though, and can be found here:
    http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=M89 43LL/A
I believe the one from Other World Computing is one of the sturdiest of the lot. The MacAlly adapter's cord is a bit flimsier than the one from Other World Computing, but both are working fine on our iBooks. We haven't tried the pricier ones.
If you have further questions about your iBook G3 (Dual USB), you may want to try posting in the iBook G3 (Dual USB) Forum.
You have posted in the iBook G4 Forum.

  • IBook G4 won't start up, can't find HD

My iBook won't start up. It gets to the grey apple screen and nothing else happens. Sometimes when I try to start up I briefly get the icon with the question mark inside a folder.
I tried reseting the PMU and nothing happened. I instaled the MacOS 10.4 installer CD starting up from the CD, tried disk utility but says it cannot repair disk. As a last resort I figured trying to reinstal OS X but in does not find the hard drive.
I'm kind of desperate. Would love to save some files but I'm also open to any suggestions.
    Thanks in advanced.

    HI Tanya,
Go here for help with the flashing question mark: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1440
The flashing question mark indicates that when you boot the iBook it can't find the drive to boot from... Shut down your Mac. While holding down the C key, press the power button, and insert your restore disk all at the same time. Keep holding the C key until you see the Apple logo on the screen. An Installer window will open, select English. From the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Disk. When that window opens, select MacintoshHD 10.x.x and click Restart. It can take a minute or two for your Mac to find the startup volume, have patience.
The reason it can't repair the disk is because it couldn't find the start up volume to repair. If you can get it to boot into the hard disk, you can then run Disk Utility from the restore disk and check for any errors and repair them.
