Can't find my rented movie! HELP PLEASE

I recently rented a movie. When it was finished downloading I pressed play. Then iTunes froze so I had to close it. Now I cannot find the movie I rented anywhere, but I still payed for it. Help please.

Hello cheekythang
Check in your iTunes folder on your computer and look in the Movies folder to find the file. If it is there then drag the file on top of iTunes to start playing it. If you cannot find it, report the issue to the iTunes Store.

I can't find my rented movie on my ipad - I don't see it in my itunes

Did you look in the videos app?

  • I can't find my rented movie, even though restrictions are off

I just rented a movie from iTunes, and when the download finished I looked in purchases, then in videos and I can't find it. Restrictions are off, I checked. Please help!

You are absolutely certain that the movie is not in the videos app? Close the app and relaunch and see if it appears.
From your home screen, double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the videos app. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.

  • IMovies - Export Using Quicktime - can't find the finished file - help please!

Please help.  I exported several imovies projects to a designated file on my mac, using Share - Export using Quicktime and then I uploaded them to Youtube.
I did this successfully several times, now when I export a project, it takes about 45 minutes to export it, then I can't find them anymore.
I have read several threads, which suggest looking in the iMovie projects folder and locate your project Right-click to get to "show package contents" and they are not there.
It looks as if it goes through successfully, no errors but this is so annoying as I am wasting hours sharing and then can't find it.  Please help anyone.
    Thanks

    Hi Gee
I originally spent about 10 hours uploading 3 clips directly from imovies to Youtube to a private channel and they couldn't find any signs of my 3 uploads.  So I read threads that said export to Quicktime from imovies and then load them to Youtube that way.  I did that for 3 short, 10 minute videos and it worked fine.  It changed the thread to .mov and it worked.
Then perhaps I changed something (not sure what) but now when I use Export to Quicktime, it spends 1 hour or so doing the motions and completes but when I go to the allocated folder to retrieve it.  It can't be found.  I read threads and this seems to be a regular occurrence but I haven't read any replies that has solved this issue.
    Hope that's clearer.

  • Can't find the rented movies on iTunes

I rented 2 movies few days ago, and they do show in my purchase history, and now I can't find them. Can someone please telll me where are they located?
    Thank you,
    Micaela

Movies rented on Apple TV aren't transferable to another device. If its taking awhile to load then its an issue with your network.
What is your speed via speedtest.net
    1080p requires 8mbps
    720p needs 6mbps
You can change to SD in settings
Interference can cause issues, verify via istumbler or netstumbler
Should be using ISPs DNS (settings - network - DNS should be automatic)

  • Problems finding a rented movie HELP

I rented a movie on itunes & I can't find it anywhere! I know the purchase went through cause my bank account has already been charged but the movie is no where to be found please help

If you rented it on your Mac then it should have downloaded on your Mac's iTunes - if you select the Movies part of your library then is there a 'rentals' tab on it with that film in it ?

  • HT1657 I can not find my rented movie on my iPhone or Mac Book, says I purchased it. Where did it go???

I rented a movie on my IPhone from ITunes.  I plan to watch it on the flight home.  HOWEVER, I can not find it anywhere, in ITunes.  Not though my phone or computer. I waited a couple of days to see if I was charged through email.  Nothing.  So tried again to rent it, ITunes is telling me I have already rented it.  So, I looked in my account and they charged me.  So the BIG question is where is my movie.  I'm leaving tomorrow, any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.

  • Can't find a rented movie on my Windows Vista laptop.

I looked under "Library > Movies" tabs and found nothing. Can I find it anywhere else on iTunes?
I later searched the folder and found it under "Downloads" but still couldn't open it with iTunes or Quicktime...I guess because the file is MPEG 4 and it's not compatible. But what else can I do to be able to watch this movie? I'm new to buying/renting stuff on iTunes and getting frustrated here. Thanks!

  • Where can i find my rented movies on apple tv?

Hi, i just tried renting a movie on my new 3rd gen apple tv, and right after i entered my ccv number it told me that i have 48 hours to watch. i went to watch it right after and i found no movie to watch! could anyone tell me where i can find my movie?

    Hey nocsinwhitesatin,
When you rent a movie from iTunes on your computer, then you can play it on your computer or sync it to your iPhone or iPad. For your Apple TV, you will need to find it by using Home Sharing and not looking for it in the Movies section. If you go to the Computers section on the Home Screen and follow the onscreen instructions to set it up, then you should be able to find the rental and watch it on your Apple TV. Take a look at the articles below for more information.

  • Can't Find My Rented Movie On iPad.  Grrr!

I rented a movie in iTunes and am trying to sync it to my iPad, which I've done many times before.  It's not working!  I transferred it to the iPad side in iTunes and it's telling me it's on my iPad, but I can't find it.  The rental icon is not there either.  I'm connected to the Internet.  I have no idea where I'm going wrong.

  • Airdrop receives file on iPad but then can't find file anywhere. Help please?

    Hi,
Any help on this would be hugely appreciated.
Have been trying repeatedly to send a video file from an iPhone 5s to the latest iPad using Airdrop.
Everything works: devices are recognised, file is sent all the way to the 'tick' symbol appearing on the iPad and the iPhone says the file is sent.
    BUT
Then nothing happens, no file opens, and I can't find it in any albums (photos, videos or otherwise) on the recipient iPad.
I haven't come across this on the forums yet so I'm hoping someone from Apple can help.
    Thanks in advance!

By and large, we aren't Apple here, just other users trying to help each other. The few actual employees, who are here mostly to keep the forums working smoothly, only rarely offer help, mostly from canned help documents.
A file transferred by AirDrop should wind up in the same app that sent it. For example, if you sent a video using the Photos app, it will wind up in the Photos app, specifically in the Camera Roll. I just verified that it works that way from my iPhone5 to my iPad Air (both on 7.0.6).
If that's not how it is working for you, please tell us the app you are using to send the video, the iOS level on each of the two devices, and anything else you think might help somebody here assist you. (It might well not be me.)

  • I don't understand how to download an attachment on an email. It appears to countdown as I; downloading, but I can't find it. Anyone help, please

I don't understand how to download an attachment on  an email, on my iPad. It counts down as if downloaded, but I can't find it? What am I doing wrong?

What kind of attachment you are trying to download? After downloading, it should appear with the icon of the program that mostly likely will open it.
    Some formats are not supported...
