Can't find newest backup - restoring TM backup from TC to MBP with new HD
So I bought an SSD for my MacBook Pro and am excited to get it in there, but I'm very particular about my settings, apps, data, and even my Chrome session (many tabs worth) going back to exactly as I left it when I first boot up with that new SSD. I do Time Machine backups daily to my Time Capsule and the last one was run last night at like 8pm, right before I shut down and swapped the hard drives. I booted up with my Lion DVD and went through the options of restoring data to my newly formatted SSD from a TM backup, but low and behold, the last backup that OSX was telling me was a full, restorable backup was from November 2012! What gives???
Please help, I'm really wanting to get back up and running on this SSD and to restore all of this data is going to take many, many hours

I left this one to other people to answer.. it isn't that you were ignored, but rather I just don't particularly like TM for doing full disk restores..
I am really hoping your old SSD is still available unwiped.. pristine.. unsullied??
If so, plug it into the MBP by whatever means you have.. usb, firewire.. etc. and change the boot over, to boot from the old ssd. Install superduper free version is fine.
Make an identical bootable copy from the old SSD now external to the new SSD in the MBP..
That is how I would do it.

It is a very widespread function in web browsers, and it is very ''very'' helpful in many situations, including remembering the location of pages you want to see later, providing easy access to pages you use frequently and other stuff too.
If you want to know about session restore, there's an helpful support article [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Session+Restore here] which I believe also has information on version 3.0. However, I do urge you, once again, to update, because older versions (including 3.0) are no longer maintained and have known security vulnerabilities. Besides, you will not loose any functionality at all (unless you are using add-ons that are no longer usable by newer versions, in which case you need to contact the add-ons' authors for support and ask them to update their software), it's free, and very easy to do.

I have a non intel G5 and would like to download i-tune songs that I have recently purchased. I have tried everything and can't find the downloads. Did this G5 just become obsolete with itunes? If not what is the problem?
You can do it with Leopard but it depends upon the iTunes version which you did not reveal. Also make sure you are looking in the right place for purchases.
Consider buying a backup drive so you do not need to do this again. If you are going to run old hardware and software you need to live differently because yes, at some time you will find your version of iTunes no longer works. You're lucky it still works with Leopard. As you can see, some versions still work with the iTunes Store but not for repeat downloading.

iCal reports that it can't find server, and lots of data from several years ago is trying to get attention. Cannot bring up calendar in any view to use. also keeps loading unused calendar websites from long ago. I can' remove them. what to do?
UPDATE: I had 36 Safari windows open and minimized on the dock from my last session; 20 of those windows failed to open b/c Safari "couldn't find the server"; I just went to the URL bar of all 20 pages and clicked return, and all 20 pages loaded perfectly, without dropping any images or losing formatting. This is a puzzle!!!

I have iTunes 10.6.3.25 and I can't find my audiobooks that I downloaded from a library website. The audiobook tab is visible in iTunes but none of the audiobooks are there. They are on my iPod nano. Please help!
When you say they are displaying in your iTunes library, are you talking about the Audiobooks section of your iTunes library and not the audiobooks section indented under the iPod in the left pane of iTunes under Devices?
Is the iPod Shuffle configured to sync audiobooks or do you manually manage the iPod's contents?

How can I find my email in Apple Mail from before my company switched hosting providers? People with Outlook in my company have all of their old and new emails. My old emails have vanished from my Apple Mailbox on my macbook and other Apple devices. I do not have my mail backed up in time machine recently nor did I export my emailbox recently. Any ideas?
Try looking in your User folder.
Either hold down the option key while using the Finder “Go To Folder” command and select your user Library in your home folder or use the Finder “Go To Folder” command and enter ~/Library/Mail/V2
If you prefer to make your User library permanently visible, use the Terminal command found below.
Show User Library
You might want to bookmark the command. I have to use it again after every update. I have also been informed that if you drag the user library to Finder it will remain visible. -
Before I downloaded Lion every time I would upload a pic from iphoto there would be two files. One that was 1.8MB and another that was 50KB. Now I can only find the 1.8MB one. Did this option disappear with Lion? I really need this option!

Do you mean in the All Images search in the Finder?
IF so:
1.Never interact with photos that are in iPhoto via the All Images Search. This does not understand the iPhoto Library and it's very, very easy to damage the library this way.
2. What you were seeing was the original file you imported and the thumbnail created by iPhoto for viewing on the iPhoto Window. That thumbnail is not designed for user access.
What are you trying to do ultimately?

Are you checking from within the Apps section of iTunes on your computer? Is there a reason you can't download it directly to the iPhone?

Hmmm, is Network set to using DHCP?
Go to System Preferences
Click Network
Highlight AirPort and click Configure...
Choose “By default, join: Preferred networks”
Select your access point and Remove your access point with the minus button.
Launch your keychain access in Utilities and delete your access point keychain entry.
Reboot
Go back to the “By default, join:” page and click the plus this time to add your access point. Enter the correct password, save, reboot.
Instead of joining your network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed -
I can't find a folder I made in photoshop while saving, i pressed new folder button, named it and saved several photos to it. It was easy in the begining while it was a recent folder. I could always find it as a recent folder. Now that it's not, I don't know where it is. And finder won't pull it up. Can anyone suggest a magic fix?

Can't find my audio book -- Downloaded it from my public library to iTunes via Overdrive. It transferred to my old nano just fine but, even though it seemed to transfer to my new iPhone, I'm not able to locate it for playback.
