Can't find OS X Mavericks on Mac App Store

I am attempting to download OS X Mavericks from the Mac App Store, but cannot locate it. Can someone assist me?
Thanks.

You posted in the iTunes for Mac forum...are you searching that app store? If so, you'll only see apps designed for iOS devices.
You need to use the Mac App Store icon in your dock (if it's there) or open it from the Applications folder.

Reminders is automatically installed with 10.8 or above. A new Mac should have 10.9; it's possible that, with a third-party vendor, you have an earlier OS. Check under the Apple menu in the top left and click About This Mac. That will tell you what version of OS X you have.

  • Where can I find my favorite radio channel on app store?

    Allo,
Where can i find my favorite radio channel on app store?

Not all radio stations offer their own apps - in fact relatively few do - so if a simple seach for the station name doesn't turn up an app, contact the station you wish to listen to and ask if they offer an Internet stream at all and if so if there's is any app(s) that can play that stream.
    Regards.

  • Cannot find Mountain Lion on the Mac App Store.

I've called the Apple Store.  All I can get without paying $19.99 to talk to a real person is the automated system.  Through that, I am told that Mountain Lion is available "exclusively at the Mac App Store."  I can't find it anywhere!  I've tried searching and the only thing that I finally get is the upgrade for Mountain Lion,  Where is Mountain Lion hiding?

I think that you called Apple Care, not the Apple Store. If you are are not in the 90 free phone help or have not purchased the extended Apple warranty then it costs money to speak to Apple Care. But the Apple Store is always free to discuss purchases. 1-800-MY-APPLE
But the only version of OS X sold now in the Mac App Store (MAS) is Mavericks. To buy any previous version, you need to call the Apple Store and they sell you a redemption code that takes a day or three to get forwarded to your email from a different part of Apple.

  • Cannot find Os X Mavericks upgrade from App Store. Only Yosemite is available.

I would like to upgrade my 10.6.8 to Mavericks but the upgrade is not available any more. At least I can not find it from App Store.

Mavericks has been pulled from the App Store. You can try contacting App Store support to see if they can provide you with a redemption code.

  • Can't follow a link to the mac App Store

If I click on a link that will be taking me to the mac app store (not the itunes one) I end up at "install the app store..."
I have it installed, I can be logged in and still I cannot follow a link, I end up having to search for whatever I was aiming for manually.
All my software is up to date, my machine is a newish iMac.

I don't have one to hand, sorry, but I will see what I can find.
Okay, just googled one - http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/compartments/id402352687?mt=12
I click on the "view in the mac app store" and it takes me to http://www.apple.com/mac/app-store/?id=402352687  which for me is the Apple page describing the Mac App Store and advising me to download and install it.

  • How can I download new software without the mac app store

I have tried to obtain new software since lion came out and have not been able to do so because I do not have the mac app store on my mac book pro. There is no hard copy of the new software so I find myself pretty much stuck.  Is there anyway i can get around this?

You need 10.6.8 or later to access the App Store. Start with:
    Snow Leopard General requirements
Mac computer with an Intel processor
    1GB of memory
    5GB of available disk space
    DVD drive for installation
Some features require a compatible Internet service provider; fees may apply.
Some features require Apple’s MobileMe service; fees and terms apply.
If you need Snow Leopard you can still purchase a copy from Apple's online store's telesales agents.[1-800-MY-APPLE (1-800-692-7753) or Customer Service and Sales Support at 1-800-676-2775.] Ask for a Sales Representative.
Third-party sources for Snow Leopard are:
    Snow Leopard from Amazon.com
    Snow Leopard from eBay

  • Can not find update 10.8.3 in App Store

My macbook air has 10.8.2 installed and worked flawlessly. Yesterday, I checked the updates via app store, and proceed the updates. Unfortunately, I did found some weird and excessive heat after upgrade and go back to 10.8.2 using time machine backup. The problem, is now, I couldn't see 10.8.3 update in the Mac App Store. The same thing if I use Apple -> Software Update. No 10.8.3 update there.
    Thank you.

Yes, I did already donwloaded the combo version yesterday and installed 10.8.3. The question, is why now in my 10.8.2 the update is not showing? I am afraid, I didn't see my other apps update as well. Is this because of restore from Time Machine, or do you also didn't see the 10.8.3 update in app store NOW?
No I can't see it in the App Store either, because I have already updated to 10.8.3 so it knows I don't require it. I just prefer to install the Combo updates as it updates from 10.8 direct to 10.8.3 so to speak, instead of adding on incremental updates every time. The update is most likely not showing as you have already installed it in your last system update so the App Store may well think that as you have already downloaded and installed it, that you no longer need the update. Any reinstall you do now will give you 10.8.3 anyway.
    Cheers
