Can't find pictures in Picture folders

I have a new 8900 Curve with some photos in the Blackberry/Pictures folder (some taken with the camera and placed there automatically, others moved onto the device using Blackberry Desktop Manager/Roxio software).
The problem is that none of these photos appear when I select "Change Icon" for MyFaves or "Add Picture" to a contact.  I see Media Card/BlackBerry/pictures, and no photos are there.  Or if I select Media/Pictures/All Pictures, I don't see them.
The only way to see them is if I select Media/Pictures Explore/Media Card/Blackberry/pictures, which I can't do from the Edit Contact/Add Picture menu.
Make sense?  What's the fix? Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Use the explore option again and when you get to pictures select show hidden.
If the pictures don't show up, look for a BBthubs.dat file, delete it.
Do a battery pull.
Then go to media, pictures and see if they show up.
BBthumbs.dat is a index file that lets the device pull up the media quicker.
Thanks,
Bifocals
No data will be lost when doing the following: pull the battery while the device is ON.
Replace after a minute, Let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is fixed.

How can i find all included pictures which are not in a album? (only in the Library)

    Hi there,
I'm afraid I don't quite understand your question. All images are in your Library and only those you specifically select from that Library would be in an Album. What platform are you using? Revel Mac, Elements, web browser, etc?

  • How can i find the original picture in the correct event folder from an album folder picture?

how can i find the original picture in the correct event folder from an album folder picture? I can find the link to the original event folder, but is there a way to get right to the picture without having to search visually the event folder?

    Depends on whatr you mean
Deleting from your phone does not delete from anywhere else
HOWEVER deleting from your Photo stream does delete from the Photostream so anyone looking at the PS from any device will no longer see the photo
But if your Mac iPhoto is set to automatically impor tphotos form PS or is you have manually imported photos from PS then onc ethey are imported they are on your Mac and change to PS will not affect them
for more on PS see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

  • I can´t find my imported pictures

    Hello:
When I import pictures from aperture, then I can´t find the photos in my computer.I´ve searching in library with show the content of the package but I find nothing.
    Thanks

    Juanelo,
Do you mean that when you look through your library with Finder, you cannot find your photos?
First of all, there's really no need to ever look through your Aperture library package with Finder to find anything. You should always access your photos through the Aperture application. If you need access to your photos from outside Aperture, you may need to export the photos to another folder (For instance, a temporary folder on your desktop). Just remember, if you make changes to a master file, you then have a new version. The image of the version does not exist in your library - Aperture creates the version on the fly from the master and the instructions in the version.
Second of all, if your masters are really not in your library, then you must have a referenced library. That means when you imported your photos, you told Aperture to leave the photos where they are, and just make the library point to those photos. In this case, there are no masters in your library. (There may be low-res previews, though.) When you have referenced your photos, it is your responsibility to ensure they stay where Aperture knows they should be.
If my explanation isn't particularly helpful, maybe you can post some more detailed information about how you imported into your library, and how precisely you are looking for your photos.

  • How can I find my iphoto pictures from a recovered hard drive.

My macbook pro suffered an attack of spilled wine. Its unrecoverable as smoke and flashes were seen when it was powered up afterwards. I removed the hard drive to recover all my files but I can't find the file with my iphotos library in it. How can I find it or where should I look

It actually helps if you provide details first - your original question was how to find your photos - now it turns out that you knew where they were but were trying to open the library with an older version of iPhoto
older versions of iPhoto can not open newer libraries - iPhoto library manager can rebuild a library for an older version
Or you can copy the originals (or masters depending on the version of the newer iPhoto which you do not share) folder to the desktop and then create a totally new library using just the photos

  • Need help with Runtime error! Can't find "MediaDatabase" file! Folders are visible!

Hi, I have been searching a lot for an answer to this issue. Elements keeps crashing after about five minuets and giving me "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" "Runtime Error!" "R6025 - pure virtual function call". I am running Premiere Elements 9.0 on windows 8.1 and I am trying to
rebuild the "mediadatabase.db3" file, but cannot find it. I made my hidden folders visible, and followed the pathway, but I only get this. I have searched and searched but I can't find anything about windows 8.1. Only 7 and vista. Thanks in advance!

Look for a line that resembles the following in the
actionscript of the Flash fla files... It is likely to be in the
first frame's code, but may not be.
    xmlData.load("teamTSI_en.xml");
    the '
xmlData' part of that is not likely to be the same as what's
in your file, it's a variable so it could be anything, and the file
names will be whatever your xml files are.
If you can post that line of code from each of the fla files,
someone may be able to tell you where you need to place the xml
    files.

  • Where can I find this user picture?

This is sort of a strange question.
At one time I created a new user and somehow the system lost the user picture I had selected. In its place it used a picture with a blue background and a black silhouette of a person.
I grew attached to that image but am unable to find it anywhere. Does anywhere know where I can locate it on my machine?

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/User.menu/Contents/Resources/UsersPref.tiff or
    /System/Library/CoreServices/SecurityAgentPlugins/MCXMechanism.bundle/Contents/R esources/UsersPref.tiff

  • Can´t find my old pictures after latest update

Hi! After my latest update of my iPhoto 08 do I no longer find my pictures. I have my bibliotek at a extenal harddisk I have conncted to Airportbase via USB and everything worked yesterday before I updated. OBS Can´t answere before tomorrow if someone need more informations to help! Thanks to everyone how can help!
    Sincerly Jørg

    Jørg:
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Open the iPhoto library package and confirm that your image files are save in the Originals folder.
First try rebuilding the library as follows: launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library. Select the first three options.
If the rebuild doesn't resurrect the library you may have to start a new library and import the Originals folder from the old one as follows:
Creating a new library while preserving the Events from the original library.
Move the existing library folder to the desktop.
Open the library package like this.
Launch iPhoto and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
Drag the Originals folder from the iPhoto Library on the desktop into the open iPhoto window.
This will create a new library with the same Events as the original library if you have the Finder checkbox unchecked in the Events preference pane.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Where can i find my old pictures?

I have a 32gb ipod touch and it was water damaged. I just got my replacement one today and was syncing it to itunes when i realized that all of the pictures from my old ipod were no longer on the new one. The pictures i am missing are not ones that are from the 'my pictures' folder on my computer. The pictures are from apps and such like the backgrounds app that saves backgrounds as saved photos. Is there any way i can get these back? is there any where on my computer that these are saved, that i don't know about?
    Thanks in advance.

okay i remember every time i pluged in my old (water damaged) ipod into my computer something about a camera would pop up but i never knew what it was for because my ipod doesn't have a camera, so i just ignored it. is there any way get the pictures back even if i didn't upload them to my computer?

  • Where can I find my imported pictures from Iphone in Iphoto and more...

I'm curious as to the folder where my pictures from the iPhone are stored in the MacBook. I want to take that folder and copy it to an external HD where this issue ... I do it manually.
Is it possible to set the iPhoto stores them directly in a location that I specify? Yes, I say I want it to store them on my external drive directly.

If you import them to iphoto they are stored in the iPhoto Library in your Pictures Folder.
If you want to back that up, make a copy if the iPhoto Library on another volume.
Is it possible to set the iPhoto stores them directly in a location that I specify? Yes, I say I want it to store them on my external drive directly.
Yes, you can move your iPhoto Library to an external disk. Make sure the disk is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
    1. Quit iPhoto
    2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
    3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
    4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
Remember a Library on an External Disk is not a back up. For a Back Up you need a copy of the Library on another disk

  • I lost my iphone, how can i find my photostream pictures online? or do i need to get a new iphone to recooperate my pics?

I am trying to recooperate my pictures from photostream. I already reported my phone lost.

You can only access photo stream photos from an iOS device or computer signed into your account with photo stream enabled.  Also, photo stream only keeps your photos in iCloud for 30 days so when you reconnect to it you will only receive photos from the last 30 days.
Camera roll photos are included in your backup and can be restored to another iPhone running the same or higher version of iOS as the one you backed up.
