Can't find stickies note on screen

Hi all, i am experiencing a problem with my stickies. Whenever i start stickies, the toolbar appeears but the note cannot be found on the screen. Somebody has actually provided me with the following solution, but it doesn't seem to work. Can anybody help me with another solution? Thank you very much.

Open the Script Editor in the /Applications/AppleScript/ folder and paste in the following:
tell application "Stickies"
set bounds of window 1 to {61, 95, 465, 313}
end tell
Press the Run button and then see whether or not the sticky is now accessible; if it isn't and the script didn't give you an error message, increment the first number in the second line until it succeeds or you get an error.

It should be in the dock. If not try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own.
