Can't find Switzerland anymore in dropdown list

Hi!
I bought an iPhone and wanted to register it. On the register page it says I'm from United States though I'm from Switzerland.
I thought it was a problem in my account settings and went to the "Apple Account Information" page. "Country" says "CHE" so it's fine. I just wanted to make sure and clicked on "Change Country" but I can't find Switzerland in the dropdown list anymore !
What can I do ?

Where is this example spreadsheet? Without seeing it I can only guess at what you are asking.
To make a drop-down list (a pop-up menu in Numbers-speak), format the cell as a pop-up then edit and add to the list of items.
If the example spreadsheet is pulling in a dollar value based on what car you chose in the pop-up, it is probably using LOOKUP or one of the other lookup functions, getting the information from another table (a lookup table). If, instead, these dollar values are what you are choosing in the pop-up, then you need to create a pop-up with these values in it.
The Help menu includes a link to a page where you can download the Numbers Users Manual. It also has a link to the Formulas and Functions guide. Both are useful to new users.

Acrobat XI Pro shows as installed, but I can't find it anywhere in my list of programs to use it. What am I missing here?

I'm sorry you've lost files, but when you set up an account as Guest, there's a message that clearly states "When a guest user logs out, all information and files in the guest account's home folder are deleted". If you want an account where files are retained, you should create an Admin or Standard type.
You will need to use data recovery techniques to see if your file can be recovered. The more that you use your computer, the greater the risk that the file will be overwritten. You can contact a professional data recovery service such as DriveSavers (which will be expensive, but you can judge the value of the file) or try something like Data Rescue. The latter has a demo which you can install to determine if your file can be recovered, and then, on purchase, you can actually recover the file.

Does the menu display correctly in preview?
If you look at the map of your project, the top well should be empty. If it isn't, click and drag the movie icon out of the well to clear it. Then try preview to see whether it works properly.

Podcasts downloaded to "wrong" folder, then ITunes can't find it anymore

When I subscribe to a podcast or download the newest podcast, it will be saved not to the folder of itunesmusic/podcasts/name of podcast, but to /itunesmusic/downloads/podcasts/name of podcast, apparently as tmp-folder. Synchronising just then with my IPOD works, but when I exit ITunes and restart it, the podcast is not found anymore and I get the exclamation mark. When I search for it I can't find the podcast then anymore.
I have ITunes 7.0.2.16 and running Windows XP.
Any one has an idea how to solve this?
Also is there a way to downgrade ITunes to version 6 or so? Because there it worked without problems.

Too my a bit to work out *** was going on, but it was driving me insane with podcasts vanishing on me.
To clarify, this is a full description of the issue:
I have a problem with iTunes losing podcasts. They'd download, seem to play, but when I exited and reloaded iTunes a load of them would be lost and give me the exclamation icon. I've managed to work out why iTunes is losing my podcasts, but have no idea how to fix it.
I've got a folder specified which I want iTunes to use to store my stuff in (E:\Media\itunes).
When I subscribe to a new podcast it downloads to a file called E:\Media\itunes\Downloads\Podcasts\File on 4_ Phone tap evidence - 21 N.tmp\download.mp3 and creates a folder called E:\Media\itunes\Podcasts\File on
I think it's supposed to save it to the first location and then copy it across to the second folder when it's finished. Except it doesn't. iTunes can run the podcast now, but from the temp folder.
When you restart itunes, it nukes everything in the E:\Media\itunes\Downloads\Podcasts folder - I assume as it thinks I have no downloads outstanding and anything in here is just junk.
Apart from manually copying, renaming and point itunes to this file - how do I get around this problem. It's only started since I went to iTunes7 and a complete uninstall/registry/config cleanse followed by a reinstall doesn't fix the problem.

Re-adding contacts, can't find them anymore

When I accidentally removed some of my Skype contacts and tried to readd them I couldn't find them anymore. I remember their Skype names and Skype ID, but searching their names results in nothing showing up in the directory. Now I am not able to readd them again, and I'm not sure if they will be able to find me again.
Does anyone found a solution to this problem?

I have had the same issue, and have had no success in being able to find them again. It seems that in the newer version of Skype (7.0.XX) once you remove a contact, they no longer exist. I know that I have the correct Skype name as I can easily find them on my mobile phone, but they don't return anything when trying to search them on my laptop once I had removed them.
Can anyone offer a solution to find or add contacts back once you have removed them in this latest version of Skype on a laptop/desktop?

ITunes can't find songs anymore!

All my music is stored on my external HD. I've imported it all in iTunes a few weeks ago and it worked perfectly, BUT THEN...
I turned on my computer with my iPod plugged in but i forgot to turn my HD on. So ofcourse iTunes couldn't find the songs. But now when I do have my HD on it still can't find the songs, it gives a sign next to the names, while they're in the same location as they used to be. I also checked the iTunes library xml file and it gives the right location.
I also still had my library files and program folder saved on the HD so i tried recopying these in the right directions but the problem won't solve.
I've got lots of songs so relocating them one by one won't work for me, also i don't want to reimport it all because then I'll have to change some song names back again and it'll copy everything on my ipod again which takes hours..
Is there any way to solve this?
(btw the songs are all in one folder on the harddrive)

I bet windows changed the exHD letter on you.
Eject the ipod, close itunes, and make sure the exHD letter is whatever it was before this mess happened.

Can't find mails anymore after update from Tiger to Leopard

I've just updated my IMac from Tiger to Leopard (OSX 10.5.6).
After opening the Mail program I just see the menu bar (no window for the postbox).
When I open the postbox via the menu bar, the box is just empty. Are my mails gone? Where can I find or restore them?

Let's force an overall reindexing via the removal of the Envelope Index. Note the special instructions when forcing the reindexing of IMAP or Exchange accounts in the following:

This will force the reindexing of all the POP mailboxes and all On My Mac mailboxes. With regard to any IMAP accounts if you have any, the practical result of this action of removing the account folder, is that with the IMAP account still set up in the Preferences, Mail will connect to the IMAP server and create a new account folder, and while doing so will index the messages in the mailbox folders of the IMAP accounts on the server.

Where did the Apple App Store get to? I used to have an App that took me there, no sweat, now I can't find it, even on the wwweb!

If you are referring to the Mac App Store, you can find it on the Dock, next to iTunes. If you don't find it here, open Finder (the icon at the left of the Dock), select "Applications" in the sidebar and open "App Store". If you want, you can drag it to the Dock.
If you don't see it, reinstall OS X. Hold Command and R keys while your computer is starting and reinstall OS X

I suggest that you start by performing a "factory default" reset on the AirPort Express. This will get the Express back to its "out-of-the-box" configuration. In this configuration, the Express will broadcast an unsecured wireless network with a Network Name of something like: Apple Network NNNNNN
Once the Express has reset, connect your computer to its wireless network, and then, try to access it with the AirPort Utility. You can then configure it as required for your networking goals.

Can't find my inbox in my list of mailboxes. Where has it gone or how do I get it back

After installing ios & and looking at my mailbox checking emails, somehow I have deleted or changed something and now can now longer see an inbox. I can see unread emails and after viewing them I can't find them again. Help......

Audiobooks will download to the Music app on an iPad - when you have audiobooks on the iPad you should get an Audiobooks option under the More button at the bottom of the Music app.
Note that audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store, so you may want to copy it to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases if you have iTunes 11 on your computer) so that you can take a backup of it - it should copy over to the Books part of your computer's iTunes library

I can't remove the Bing Bar. When I follow the instructions I can't find Bing Bar in the listed programs on my computer to remove it.

When I open FireFox Bing is the default search engine at the top right hand side of my bar. When I go into the control panel and the programs, I can't find Bing Bar to uninstall it.

It seems to me that Windows is using techniques used by people spreading viruses. Can't Norton or McAfee do something to stop these people?

2, Sometimes, we know in the meantime, the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.
3. Did you already try "uninstalling and re-installing"? Be careful with (de)installing aso. by (de)installing by your own resources. As much as I regret it and as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)
