Can't find the all disks in storage pool
Hello
I have Windows server 2012 R2 installed in KVM. I would like to create storage pool on 2 virtual disks.
I use whole new two virtio type disk.
I could see that there's two attached disks.virtio is recognized SCSI bus type.
But I can't find all the disks in storage pool.
No matter how many virtio disks I add, I could only see the first disk I mounted.
Could tell me why? Are multiple virtio type disks not allowed in server 2012 R2 storage pool?
After I initialized the 2 disks as GPT, it is still only recognized the first mounted disk.
Does it might be related to the virtio disk type?
Have you ever tried this situation?

Hi Everyone, My iMac G5 20" (not iSight) is about 18 months old and I never had any problem with it until a week ago, when it started booting up with white blank screen. I tried to start it up by Tiger, but wouldn't have it, so I went to change the PRAM battery, but broke the clip, now put a new battery and fixed the problem somehow, BUT regardless how often and how hard I tried, the computer can not find the hard disk when it reaches the installation stage. Not by the system DVD or by it's disk utility. I tried the hard disk in my PowerMac, it works fine. I tried another hard disk, just the same. The three lights on the motherboard come on just fine. I have also tried it with the original DVDs (10.3.9) but just the same. Any ideas please? Many thanks
Hi,
Ref: iMac 20" (not iSight) model.
Well, I started it by holding down the option key, like usual it only show the flashing icon the the center of the white screen toggling the small square with question mark, looking for the hard drive.
I boot the iMac by system CD, it takes me through first 5/6 stages and finally does not find any hard drive to install. During this process, when I use the Apple Hardware, it does not find anything.
The hard drive works fine on other machines and other working machine hard drive will not be detected on the iMac.
All three logicboard light come on, showing it works fine, according to Apple manual.
The iMac was working fine, then after started to miss detecting the hard drive a few times during it last two weeks of being used, now it will not detect the hard drive.
Looking from logical point of view, it leads to one of the two cables connecting the hard drive to the logicboarde being faulty, but they have never been touched before as well as look fine.
Would it be caused by backup battery (PRAM)?

How can I find the all path available for a MPLS VPN in SP network
How can I find the all path available for a MPLS VPN in SP network between PE to PE and CE to CE?
Hi There
If we need to find all the available paths for a remote CE from a local PE it will depend upon whether its a RR or non-RR design. If the MP-iBGP deisgn is non-RR the below vrf specific command
sh ip bgp vpnv4 vrf "vrf_name" will show us the MP-iBGP RT for that particular VPN. It will show us the next hop. Checking the route for same in the Global RT will show us the path(s) available for same ( load-balancing considered) .Then we can do a trace using the Local PE MP-iBGP loopback as source to remote PE's MP-iBGP loopback to get the physical Hops involved.
However if the design is RR-based there might be complications involved when the RR is in the forwarding path ie we have NHS being set to RR-MP-iBGP loopback and the trace using the Local PE MP-iBGP loopback as source to remote PE's MP-iBGP loopback will get us the physical Hops involved.
If we have redundant RRs being used with NHS being set then the output of sh ip bgp vpnv4 vrf "vrf_name" will show us two different available paths for the remote CE destination but just one being used.
RR-based design with no NHS being used will always to cater to single path for the remote CE detsination.
So in any case the actual path used for the remote CE connectivity would be a single unless we are using load-balancing.
Hope this helps you a bit on your requirement
Thanks & Regards

Satellite A300 - I can't find the recovery disk creator
Hi everybody!
Need some help with my Satellite A300. I lost the optical recovery disc I burned when the laptop was new. Now when I'm trying to burn a new recovery disc I can't find the Recovery Disc Creator - not on the desktop or in the Start meny. I still have the folder with all the recovery files left - a folder named HDDRecovery with size 4.5 GB. The problem is to find out how to burn the disc.
Can anyone help?
//iMate, SwedenHello
F8 will works just if you didnt change anything with first partition and if you still use factory settings.
"Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator" cannot be gone for no reason. Either you have removed it from the system or you have installed own Vista OS.
I don't want to speculate why you cannot use F8 anymore but fact is that for new Vista installation you need recovery DVD.
You can order one under https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx -
I am just unpacking a new IMac with Mountain Lion software & I can't find the DVD disks

You don't need to make a thumb drive. There is a built in recovery partition (you can see by holding Option during startup) that serves the same functions of a disk. If there is an issue with that, there is also an Internet Recovery
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718
That's fine If you want to put all your faith in your Internet connection. I don't - my preferred safety net is a bootable clone which will allow me to boot from another disk and doesn't require a several hour download which is a waste of time, resources, and wasting my monthly cap. -
Can anyone help me get a new(er) Macbook that's running Mountain Lion migrate data from an old PowerBook G4 running 10.4.x?
I've restarted the G4 holding down "T" and have the Firewire icon floating around its screen, started Migration Assistant on the Macbook, telling it to get data from a Time Machine back up or other disk, have Firewire cable connected to both laptops, continue and the Macbook is just endlessly "Looking for Other Computers"....
Any ideas?
Anyone?Additionally, When I have the two laptops connected via Firewire, I do see the disk from which I'm trying to migrate data and can copy files, etc.
Not sure if this is helpful or not but thought I'd throw it out there. -
Can you find the mistake in my connection pool?
Can Someone help me with my connection pool coded below.
I retrieve the data sent by my connection pool as follows:
int Id = UserDB.*getUserId(emailAddress)*;
But int Id always turns out to be 0, no matter what emailAddress I put in.
My Connection Pool:
public static int getUserId(String emailAddress)
ConnectionPool pool = ConnectionPool.getInstance();
Connection connection = pool.getConnection();
PreparedStatement ps = null;
ResultSet rs = null;
String query = "SELECT UserId FROM User " +
"WHERE EmailAddress = ?";
try
ps = connection.prepareStatement(query);
ps.setString(1, emailAddress);
rs = ps.executeQuery();
int Id = rs.getInt("UserId");
return Id;
catch(SQLException e)
e.printStackTrace();
return 0;
finally
DBUtil.closeResultSet(rs);
DBUtil.closePreparedStatement(ps);
pool.freeConnection(connection);
}You forgot "if (rs.next()) { ... get id ...} else { ... email address not found ... }"
EDIT: Also, the "e.printStackTrace()" should've told you an exception was being thrown.

Guys, a have one big problem..My customer brought me a macbook with windows 7 installed to do a format and reinstallation, but she is no longer the OSX Lion, and do not know how to install the sound drivers, "touchpad", among other drivers, how to solve this? Where can I find the drivers? The MacBook is now with Windows 8 installed.
Sorry my bad english..
See is meant. The MacBook has already come for me with Windows 7 installed, checked that it does not have another partition with OSX Lion installed, do not know how the person who did the maintenance before I managed to remove the partition with the Lion, so I can not create a disk or access boot camp because there is no partition Lion and don't own the DVDs of OSX Lion, you understand me?
There is a boot camp Windows executable? Where do I find, since I poked around and found nothing on ...
The sound driver is installed, but not working ... and the rest are missing there also, the trackpad also does not work correctly, the right button does not work ... My experience with mac is low, it may be that you do not know how it works correctly the trackpad -

When I click "about this mac" to check on my storage, I get a number of different sections music, movies, etc. but also I get a section called backups, where can I find the files in this section?
Welcome to Apple Support Communities
All the storage in "Backups" is taken up by local snapshots, which are made automatically in all MacBooks, MacBooks Pro and MacBooks Air with OS X Lion or newer and Time Machine turned on.
See > http://pondini.org/TM/30.html I recommend you to leave them there, because they will be removed automatically. However, if you want, you can disable or remove them manually if you want, even if there's no reason to do this. Have a look at the link above for more information -
I had to install a new hard drive because my orginal one crashed. When I bought my macbook, iWork came pre-installed. Now with a new hard drive I would like iWork back on my computer, but can't find the start up disks, assuming I'd be able to do it that way. Is there anyway I can contact Apple and have them give me the iWork software?
(Overall, very upset about this since my macbook is only 2 years old and I lost everything. A friend of mine has been working on it for 3 weeks trying to recover some data.)- Did you restore from a backup that contained the photos?
- The backup only contains photos in the iPod's Camera Roll album. It does not included photos synced to the iPod.
- All you can do is try restoring from backup again. -
Hi
My iPad is filling up my PowerBook hard disk. Where can I find the sync Photo file to delete it ?
Copying over photos via iTunes/iPhoto - there is a back-up file created (I can not turn it off) and it's now filling my PB-Pro.
So I need to find it and trash it and start over.
- Where is it located ?
- What is it's name ?
Yours Bengt WThank You
I found my iPhoto library
ctrl-clicked on it and opened package/content
here I found the iPod photo cashe folder
copyed this to a safe hard disk
then deleting it's content
and my memory/free space on boot drive is back
So I hope all's well.
