Just so I understand your problem, you are having difficulties locating the Restrictions section in the Settings app. Under Settings --> General If you scroll down half way then you should spot "Restrictions" under "Auto-Lock" and above "Date & Time". If you still cannot find the setting then it is possible you may have a remote management configuration profile installed restricting you from access those groups of settings.

The "always allow" button is grayed out in settings regarding cookies, and I can not find where to change the setting. (Restrictions are not on.) Do you know where I go to change the setting to allow me to "always allow" cookies?

If you are having issues turning on Always Allow for cookies in Safari on your iPad, you may want to check to make sure that you don't have Private Browsing enabled, as noted in the following article:

I'd like to update the ISO 4.2.1 on an old iPod Touch to ISO 7. Can't find "Software Update" option under General Setting. Where might I look for the option to slightly upgrade the ISO for this device?
You likely have a 2G iPod and those can go higher than 4.2.1
A 3G can go to 5.1.1
IA 4G, with cameras can go to iOS 6.1.6.
The 5G, also with cameras can go to iOS 8

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".
Tip - You may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. After you update to iOS 5.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

Just recently had to replace my iPad, backed up my old iPad on iCloud can't find my pictures from the old iPad any ideas?
Navigate to Settings > General > Software Update and install any updates available.
Navigate to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all contents and settings on the device you want to restore.
When this completes and the Set-Up Assistant starts, choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter your iCloud account and password. You will see the three most recent backups for each of the devices on which you enabled Backup. Choose which backup to restore from. -

If you do not have a Software Update option present on your iDevice, then you are trying to upgrade to iOS 5 or higher. You will have to connect your device to your computer and open iTunes in order to upgrade.

Go to System Preferences > iCloud > Keychain and enter your Apple ID password (Settings > iCloud > Keychain, from a mobile device)
Select the ‘Create Different Code’ option. (Mobile devices only)
Select the advanced option and choose whether to create a random code or no code, selecting the later allows syncing across devices but not with Apple’s servers. -
I know many have this issue but i can't find a solution to the problem. i get message saying insuffisiant disk space in the volume iPhoto library and i have plenty of space available. i have the new macbook pro with retina display. i have never seen this message before and i have 2 other macbooks and have had many other also. i am assuming this is a problem with the new macbook retina. does anyone know the exact fix to this issue? i have seen many sugestions to try to fix this issue but none have solved the issue for anyone that i can find in the Apple Support Community. thank for looking into this in advance.
******A true apple fan********Actually your suggestions are the ones that i have tried. i have seen that you have tried to help others with this issue and the only one that i could find that said they found the problem said that it was an ilife update issue and it fixed it and i have no available updates. i know it has to do with something in photo stream because it happens when i create a new library and it is loading the photos but i get the message before i reach the maximum 1000 photos. so i've tried updating, new library(first backing up photos and then deleting them from iPhoto), reinstalling OSX many times, running disc utilities. I called Apple the first day i had this issue and i was the first person to call them for support with the retina display and i actually had it escalated to a senior advisor and we thought we fixed the problem but we did not. i am pretty fluent in dealing with troubleshooting these type of issues and this is the first time i'm reaching out to the community. i figured now that the retina has been out some time now that there would be an obvious answer to this issue. thanks for the quick reply.

How do you create a link to a pdf in Muse? Thought it was going to show that with Katie's menu and can't find in any of the tutorials.
The steps would be :
- Add files from file menu > select pdf > add to site
- Select the content (rectangle,text etc) and click on hyperlink dropdown > it should show you the added files list
- Select the file you want to link

Adobe Reader for iOS doesn't set the default email address when you email a PDF.

I have accidentally erased a photo. It happened after the backup.I am not aware you can extract a single photo or a single app's content from the backup, you can either restore the whole backup to your phone or not restore. If you restore your last backup to your phone then any content that is currently on your phone will be replaced with what was on it at the time that the backup was made - so if you do decide to restore, first copy off any purchases to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases, and copy any documents/files that you've udpated on the phone since the backup.

Can't find my loop in the broser
I imported a whole guiro track in the loop browser and I can't recall it in the browser, I can't find it.
1) The little search on top right of the browser doesn't let me type in it.
2) Is the file too long, I imported into the browser before and the files are there, what happened this time. I tried cutting just one bar and bouncing it to create a short loop and can't find it after importing it, I didn't get any error messages either.Pages ’09 will not let you delete templates from within the Application. Although you can highlight the template in the Template chooser, the delete or backspace keys, or other key combinations are not recognized.
By default, any template that you save in Pages ’09 will reside in your original post Library destination within My Templates. I have a Journals folder as a peer to My Templates, and both appear in the Template Chooser. Technically, it is possible to save a template to iCloud from Pages ’09, but the Template chooser won't see it.
The path that I provided into your Library/Containers/.... is navigable with the Finder. When you get to the com.apple.iWork.Pages folder, right click on it, and choose Show Package Contents from the contextual menu. Then continue clicking through the folders as I revealed earlier. -
When attempting a reinstall of iTunes, I cant delete the file C\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Internet Services\Shellstream.resources due to same error message as described above for iPod file; however i can't find it anywhere in the Task Manager
That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards? -
I'm trying to add my HP wireless printer as a "new client" to my wireless network using Airport Utility, but I can't find that option in the new version. I've downloaded all available updates of the OS and the utility.. Help!
Why would you need to ADD a new Client. Unless the APE sytem is completely different then any other Wireless router the printer should get an IP address from the router. That is IF the printer is setup to get an IP from the LAN DHCP server.
Now you may want to make that IP it does get a Staticly assign IP address so it never changes, which will screw up printing if it does change. But i don't know if you can do that with APE routers.
