Can't find the text editor menu in dreamweaver

I am a returning dreamweaver user. It has been 8 years since I used it.
I am writing some text on a website and want to edit the way it looks. Where is the text editing menu where I can change fonts and font colors, sizes, etc? It used to be at the bottom. All I see currently is the "properties" tab.

I can't find the image object menu item when trying to add an image placeholder in dreamweaver cs6

I am new to dreamweaver, and am walking through some tutorials. I can't seem to find the image object menu item to place a image placeholder on my page. Any suggestions? Do I have a setting that is currently hiding its visibility? Thanks (I am currently working with dreamweaver cs6)

How can I find the text only in the custom text frame?

Well guys, I have a problem.
I have such code:
app.findTextPreferences.findWhat = "text";
text = app.activeDocument.findText();
position = text[0].insertionPoints[0].index
in the variable "position" I get global(not depending in which frame the text is) position(number of chars) of the found text, but I want to get the number of the frame where is text was found! Or how can I find only in the custome frame?

Assuming that you have some way of identifying that text frame, then it is just a matter of doing the search only against that frame. For example:
myFrame = app.documents[0].pages[3].textFrames[5];
app.findTextPreferences.findWhat = "text";
text = myFrame.findText();
position = text[0].insertionPoints[0].index
However, unless myFrame is the first in a story, the index will not be relative to the start of myFrame. To get that, you need:
framePos=myFrame.characters[0].index;
textOffsetInFrame =position - framePos;

Where can I find the text fillColor for an empty TextFrame? [CS3]

I've got a Javascript that needs the fillColor for text in a TextFrame.
You can set the text fill color on an empty frame and InDesign will use that value when you enter text...but before you enter text, where can I get this value?
Currently, for empty TextFrames I'm using pageItem.appliedObjectStyle.appliedParagraphStyle to retrieve the other settings. However, the "fillColor" value always appears to be (0,0,0,100).
Where might I find this value?

Where do I find the authorization tab in the store menu on itunes? I am trying to authorize my (new) computer to access my itunes account, but there is no 'store menu' from which to find the command. The directions on the support page are useless.

Assuming iTunes 11....Go to the little Menu button all the way to the upper left. Choose Show Menu Bar and then you should see Store in the Menu Bar across the top.

For example, I posted an article on a news site, but found that only a small part of my article was posted.

I'm not sure whether Firefox saved that information. There is a chance that it is in the session history file, especially if you haven't closed that tab yet. To check that:
Open your currently active Firefox settings folder (AKA your Firefox profile folder) using
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
Find all files starting with the name sessionstore and copy them to a safe working location (e.g., your documents folder). In order to read a .js file, it is useful to rename it to a .txt file. Or you could drag it to Wordpad or your favorite word processing software.
The script will look somewhat like gibberish, but if you search for a word in your article that doesn't normally appear in web pages, you may be able to find your data.

I have 10.6.8 and have installed two new printers HP 8610 and an Epson 7880 and can not find the Page Set-up menu anywhere in the applications I a trying to print from. This is regardless of either printer selected.
I primarily print photos from Photoshop CS5. The term Page Set-up has gone missing in the file pull down menu. Can't make any choices There are no page sizes, paper types, appearsto be locked on a 13x19 size paper format. Either being too large or too small.
Saw a 2008 locked issue about this however none of the help fit my situation, options discussed are not available to me.
Preview has no "Page Setup" - or does it?
Does the constant struggle with computer compatability weirdness issues ever end or is it a enslavement scheme?

Hey,
if you know the name(s) of the root folder(s) you want to access (eg. by making a note on the Windows side) then you can make them appear by just doing Shift-Command-G in Finder ("Go to Folder…"), and entering the full path to the required folders. You can then navigate all the contents as normal.

Browser can't find a text file opened via the save as dialogue box

Hi there,
I have a servlet which outputs a file using the servlet output stream, with the following lines set:
response.setContentType("application/msword");
response.setHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachement; filename="+ fileName);
servletOutStream.write(myBytes);
servletOutStream.flush();
It works fine for .doc files and it seems the mechanism is that it is saved to the Temporary Internet Folder and delivered from there when the user clicks on the 'open' or 'save' option in the browser popup dialogue box. However... when I try this with text files, (setting the content type to "text/plain") I get the open/save dialogue box up correctly but if I try to open the file it says it cannot find the file, and gives the path under the Temporary Interenet Folder. If I look in there the text file isn't present - though the .doc files are.
So... it looks as if the problem is that for some reason it doesn't save the text files correctly to the Temporary Internet Folder.
I can't deliver the text files inline as a solution as the filename is lost and it thinks it's an html file (which the client doesn't want).
Any ideas?

At least also set the content length. Your browser may be configured be the default application to open textfiles. If the contentlength is not set, then most applications would refuse to open the file without choosing for 'Save' first and manually open it.

If the same website is opening each time you launch a browser (Safari?) hold down the shift key as you launch to prevent previous pages from opening.
Have a look at your settings in Safari > Preferences. Especially General and Privacy.
Reset Safari to remove cookies and other stored data.
System Preferences > General
Have a look at your settings in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.

Windows: How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
