Can´t find Yosemite

I have downloaded Yosemite but when I click on "About this Mac" it stills says 10.8 which is Mountain Lion and the is also not the one of Yosemite. What went wrong. When I go to App store its says I already downloaded it. ( Yosemite)

Correct. When you purchase devices, they would have stated the OS they needed to work, on the box. This can be overlooked, but it is very important to check when purchasing.
You current OS, is so old, that they technology build into the new devices, is not something your OS understands. It didn't exist when your OS was created, and therefore you need to upgrade the OS to work with the newer technology of these devices.
10.6 software is not downloadable. You must purchase a DVD disc. You can order it from the on-line apple store

I can't find the yosemite driver for my new epson r3000 printer. I am using 10.10.1. The Epson website says to find the driver by going to the App store and looking for updates. I did that and didn't find any. In "Printers and Scanners" in System Preferences I notice that the computer is aware that I am connected to the printer (via USB) but a message at the bottom of the window says that "Software for this printer isn't available from Apple. Contact the printer's manufacturer...". What to do?

It looks as though Epson has a driver compatible with Yosemite.

Formerly clicking on the email address in question would allow one to 'remove from previous recipients' which would help to filter out spam. I've adjusted all the settings under mail preferences, but that is not helping.

I understand that you would like to be able to filter some of the junk mail that you are receiving in Mail. The attached article has a lot of great information on junk mail filtering, including how to mark as junk and adjust the junk filter.

1 - you need to update your profile as you state that you have OS X 10.6.3 in it
2 - for Yosemite you need to backup your iPhoto library and install iPhoto 9.6 from the App store - if you are upgrading from iPhoto '08 or earlier you need to also run the iPhoto Library upgrader prior to launching iPhoto 9.6
3 - Your photos are NOT in iCloud - it is not a place to store photos - it is only to move photos between devices (MyPhotoStream) or people (shared PhotoStreams) - they are (by default) in the iphoto library in your pictures folder - if you did not backup your iphoto library prior to erasing you disk then they are gone

Can't find 7510 Photosmart after updating Mac to OS X Yosemite

Since updating to OS X 10 Yosemite, my 7510 Photosmart has not worked via wireless connection for printing or scanning.
I've uninstalled everything and reset the printers. I've now tried to reinstall, but HP Utility still can't find the printer wirelessly.
I clicked Specify Device Manually and entered the IP address under IPv4 from the HP Network Configuration Page that I printed direct from the device, but it says 'Device is not reachable.'
The printer is turned on and is connected to the same wireless network as my MacBook Air.

Since Yosemite Macbookpro can't find wireless printer

     Since my Yosemite upgrade my laptop and other wireless devices won't play nice. The biggest issue is my printer, Canon MG5520. I have downloaded the latest drivers, it's connected to our home network my husband can print from it using two windows laptops. I have "reset printers" I have re-installed the drivers multiple times. It will find the printer occasionally. I thought I had it all working this morning after an hour of troubleshooting and tried to print something and got the "cannot find printer" error. If I go into the printer utility it tells me it's there and idle but when you try to print it's error 300. I also can't find my iPhone5s with airdrop but that is the least of my troubles right now.

The meaning of "Support Code 300" is known only to Canon, but there are reports of at least temporary relief from taking one or more of the following steps. Some may not be applicable in your case.
         Open the printer cover to check the ink cartridges, then power the printer off and back on.
         Turn Wi-Fi off and back on in the menu bar.
         Delete and recreate the print queue in the Print & Scan preference pane.
         Disconnect the power cable and reconnect it after a minute or so.
         Reset the printer to factory condition, restart the wireless router, and repeat the network setup.
If none of these procedures works for you, I suggest you contact Canon tech support.

Open Mail preferences. Select Accounts tab, then Accounts Information tab in the window. You can edit the SMTP server list there for all accounts.

Where can I find the Yosemite Extensions offered on upgrade?

I upgraded Yosemite on our two MAC Minis. When completing the second download, I realised that there were 21 Extensions on the page when I scrolled down. I missed these on the first MAC download! I have searched all over MAC and Google etc. but can't find where to download these extensions for the second MAC. Can anyone tell me please?
