Can't fine the "Tones" button in iTunes 10.7

I am trying to add my custom ringtone to my iphone. I saw many tutorials and they all say to drag the ringtone to the tones button, but I can't find it. Please help. It should be under library on the side, or under Devices. They are in neither locations.

Edit > Preferences > General
Select the box for Tones.

I can't find the remote button on itunes 11

I can't find the remote button on iTunes 11. I open the app and under settings, I select Add an iTunes library. It gives me the 4 digit code to enter in iTunes. When I open iTunes there is no remote button to click on to enter this code. Any suggestions?

Found the answer for you today as I was looking for the answer myself. If you go to the menu you will see a option to "Show menu bar". Click this to get a few functions to show up. Click on file and in the drop down menu you will find "Library". Hover over that to get the import option to show up! Hope this helps!

There is no sync button in iTunes that lets you restore your iPad. Your iPad is in recovery mode now. Follow these instructions.

I meticulously followed the instructions but I still haven't been able to completely uninstall itunes and the ipod.
When I right-click on the bin folder in the ipod folder in program files and then choose delete, I get the following message:
"Cannot delete iPodServiceLocalized.dll: Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is currently not in use."
When I right-click on the Quicktime folder in program files, I get the following message:
"Cannot delete QTTASK.EXE: Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is currently not in use."
When i open the windows installer cleanup tool I cannot see itunes/ipod/quicktime in the list.
I suspect this is something to do with administrator rights? How do I log in as an administrator? Only me and my husband use the computer, but we don't log in under any different IDs or anything, we just switch it on and start using it?!
I tried installing 4.9 from one of the other threads anyway, but I still get the message that a newer version of itunes is installed so it cannot continue. The itunes in the ipod program file shows as 4.8.0.

I even went to preferences and clicked on the "tones" button so that the "tones" tab would appear, and it won't appear. I reset the computer and everything. If someone could please tell me how to make the "tones" tab actually appear, that would be wonderful.

I can't find the "Repeat" button in my Itunes, when I'm listenning to a music. I have reinstaled my Itunes, it didn't help.

You can access the repeat options if you right-click on the shuffle icon, or if menus are enabled you can use
Controls > Repeat > Off | All | One.
Once the control is visible you can click it to switch between states as before. If the control is turned to off it disappears on the next track change. In contrast the shuffle control remains visible whenever it is appropriate. Hopefully the next release will fix this.
