Can't finish CS5 updates

In attempting to update in CS5, the progress bar stopped and prompted me to close CS5 Bridge. After checking, Bridge was never opened. I tried opening and closing it, no change in the message to close it before the updates could continue. What to do?

This error occurs when Adobe Bridge is configured to start at login, so it is running in the background when you are updating.

Can't install CS5 update

just installed Photoshop CS5 (upgrade) on my new computer, and it won't activate. Says it can't find a qualifying product. Do I have to install my CS3 1st?

Once, the "stick previous version into multi-drive," was the accepted method. About the time that Adobe began offering download versions, I think they added the "previous version's S/N) to the process, as some would not have an installation disc. It also might have been that they were able to expand the database for S/N's, to accommodate the later method. Just speculating, based on past experiences.

3. Are you getting any error?
4. Could you please test if you are able to publish with a new site to business catalyst? Also check if you are able to export the html to a local folder on your computer.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple Website:

Can't finish install via OTA or delete the firmware update data

After many times trying to download the iOS update, when I was finally able to finish the download, my iPhone 4 rebooted and got stucked in Recovery Mode. iTunes failed to restore it (and it tried to restore to my old iOS version). After several hours trying to fix my gadget, I used a "Recovery Fix" from a third-party software. It worked, my iPhone is iOS 5.1.1, but working.
PROBLEM IS: the 7.0 data is already downloaded. I can even click "Install Now" on the Software Update section of the settings, but it says "An error occurred installing iOS 7.0" right after verifying the update. And I can't delete the download. And it takes me 1,1gb on my 8gb phone.
I have tried to restore it from a backup I had from iTunes, but the firmware data is still there!
Isn't there a way I can finish the update or delete de update data???

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased. Some glitch occured and you have to restore/erse the iPod. Y will have to restore from an existing backup if y ohave one.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

IPhone can't finish 3.0 update

So, I was getting the 3.0 OS update for my iPhone and I hit the "Download and Install" button. It statrs downloading and I NEVER unplug it or anything and it starts extracting the software, etc., etc. Then, it says it will restart the iPhone and that it will finish the update then. It turns back on and the computer says "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone "Travis's iPhone" because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes." I look at the iPhone and it has the screen to connect to iTunes and it has the emergency call slide and a little i.
So, my problem is, I can't connect my iPhone to the Mac to finish the update because my iPhone is locked with a user-lock and I can't unlock my iPhone because I need to connect it to iTunes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

I have the exact same issue... currently my iPhone is useless. I cant connect it to iTunes as iTunes complains about the lock... and the phone just demands to be connected to iTunes all the time to activate... I'm stuck. I've left it plugged into iTunes now for an hour with no luck.

How can I install CS5.5 updates after error code U44M1I210?

When I attempt to update CS5.5 I get a message saying that several updates were unable to be installed. Error code U44M1I210 is given. I've unistalled all of CS5.5, reinstalled CS5.5, and tried to install the updates again, but with no success. How can I get the updates to be installed?
I'm running Mac OS 10.6.8.

Thank you. I've followed the advice in that article, have sent a package to Adobe for them to analyze, and am awaiting a response.

Thank you very much for your help. Now, I was able to install the update (Adobe Photoshop 12.0.4 update for Adobe Photoshop CS5, Mac). But I couldn’t mark the answer as correct. I didn’t find the „correct“ button.

OK, here's the Windows version of the update:

Of course, ignore the idiotic recommendation that appears there to try to use Help > Updates. We already know that doesn't work.

Download the Extension Manager
Download Extension Manager CS5 installer and save it on your machine.
Double-click the installer to begin the installation process.

If your phone is in recovery mode (You see the iTunes graphic on the phone), you MUST connect the device to a computer and restore the operating system. There is no supported way to get around it. The device had a problem installing the update and it crashed. Sorry.
