Can't fit width without making text unreadably small
I can fit the width with the toolbar icon, but the text shrinks to pictures of horizontal lines. OR... I can read the text, but have to scroll left and right for every line just to do it. The file is tagged. I am using Reader for Pocket PC 2.0. I tagged it automatically using Acrobat 8. I like to scroll up at the end of a page, it's the simplest way to progress through a book, and some texts do this while others do not. Can anyone suggest a way to make the document fit the screen and still remain large enough to read? Many thanks.

If the books were purchased at the iBookStore, you will be able to redownload, like the apps. Some other sellers, like O'Reilly, also allow multiple downloads.
If you have (or can install) iTunes on a computer (Mac preferable, not mandatory) and run it then plug the device in, does it show up? If the computer can detect it, you can and should do a complete backup onto local storage immediately. That can then be used to reconstruct the content of the device on a new or repaired replacement. If you enable encryption, even the passwords will get saved. -

Add Command to StringItem without making it a hyperlink
I want to make a screen with a load of StringItems that the user can highlight and I found that I can do this by adding a command to each StringItem (without making it a button). The only problem is, as soon as a Command is added the appearanceMode of the Item is set to HYPERLINK and I can't change it. Does anyone know how I can achieve the same without making it a HYPERLINK. The problem I have with the hyperlink is that it becomes underlined, and I am using spaces to alter the layout, so the empty space also gets underlined.
As far as I understand, you create StringItem with default appearance mode - using constructor StringItem(label, text).
In that case, [MIDP 2.1|http://www.jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=118] requires device to set hyperlink appearancefor item with command:
A StringItem that has item commands and the appearance mode Item.PLAIN MUST always be presented as a StringItem with added command(s) and appearance mode Item.HYPERLINK.To avoid hyperlink, I'd try to use "button" appearance mode. This could be done with constructor StringItem(label, text, Item.BUTTON) -
Can individuals (students) purchase Adobe CC (one application or all) for just a portion of the year (i.e. a semester - 1 to 4 month span)? My students would like to purchase the program for a month at a time without making a yearly commitment.

I have a document that has a number of bookmarks already in it. I cannot figure out how to change their behavior when clicking on them unless I change each one one at a time. There are 822 pages and at least that many bookmarks. Any way to tell Acrobat to make them all open in a fit page view instead of the Fit Width they are in now? Save me a ton of time. Thanks for any help. Using Acrobat Pro XI on a Mac...standalone application...not in the cloud.

You can go to View> Zoom> Fit Width and the setting will be applied to the complete pdf.

Sorry Sachin, I mean that I created a simple form on the page from the widget and started adding fields to it. The more fields I add the slower the delay becomes in creating a new field. Even when I try to select and drag or move an item, there's a huge delay and sometimes the program feezes, loose what i've done and have ot restart.
I'm doing an enployment form that has more than 20 fields, at least, and I need to be able to build the fields in separate categories, like Education, Past Employment, etc... quickly without delay issues.
I can probably send you a snap shot of what I'm talking about if I cna post it or attach it here..?

Can't get any amount of text to fit on cover of small book
No matter how little text I add, I get a warning sign when trying to create the cover of a small book. I've tried starting over without making any changes to the font type and using very little text, but nothing works. Anyone else have this problem?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. When entering the text make sure you don't hit the Return key or the Enter key after entering it. That will immediately bring up a text warning sign. Although there's no text it puts a hidden character on the second line which causes the problem.

I bought an LG phone and a $35 dollar plan card. Less than a week later it said I was out of time for texts. Apparently it only gave me minutes, not the plan I wanted. Is there any way I can get the plan without paying again?
So you bought a plan and used it all and want another one for free? I understand you thought it had more texts or whatnot but they won't do that since you already used the other plan.

icloud provides many services (mail, contacts, photo stream, etc.) and for any device connected to icloud, you can determine which services it will use.
Settings>icloud, turn on whichever services you want that device to access. Texts can be administered at Settings>Messages. You can turn of texting if you like. Also indicate which addresses the device will respond to.
