Can't found DB2 Recovery Expert

Dear All
I installed DB6 with SAP on Windows 64 bit.But I can't found DB2 Recovery Expert.Where can I download it.
Thanks

Hi Phuc,
I think you are referring to "[DB2 Recovery Expert for Multiplatforms|http://www-01.ibm.com/software/data/db2imstools/db2tools/db2re/]".  I believe you have to purchase it in a bundle called "[DB2 Toolkit for Multiplatforms|http://www-01.ibm.com/software/data/db2imstools/db2tools/db2toolkit/]" which includes "IBM DB2 Change Management Expert for Multiplatforms", "IBM DB2 Data Archive Expert for Multiplatforms", "IBM DB2 High Performance Unload for Multiplatforms", "IBM DB2 Performance Expert for Multiplatforms", "IBM DB2 Test Database Generator for Multiplatforms" and the "IBM DB2 Recovery Expert for Multiplatforms" you asked for.
I hope this helps.

  • System Image Restore Fails "No disk that can be used for recovering the system disk can be found"

    Greetings
                                        - Our critical server image backup Fails on one
    server -
Two 2008 R2 servers. Both do a nightly "Windows Server Backup" of Bare Metal Recovery, System State, C:, System Reserved partition, to another storage hard drive on the same machine as the source. Active Directory is on the C: The much larger D: data
partition on each source hard drive is not included.
Test recovery by disconnecting 500G System drive, booting from 2008R2 Install DVD, recovering to a new 500G SATA hard drive.
    Server A good.
Server B fails. It finds the backed-up image, & then we can select the date we want. As soon as the image restore is beginning and the timeline appears, it bombs with "The system image restore failed. No disk that can be used for recovering the system
disk can be found." There is a wordy Details message but none of it seems relevant (we are not using USB etc).
At some point after this, in one (or two?) of the scenarios below, (I forget exactly where) we also got :
"The system image restore failed. (0x80042403)"
The destination drive is Not "Excluded".
Used   diskpart clean   to remove volumes from destination drive. Recovery still errored.
Tried a second restore-to drive, same make/model Seagate ST3500418AS, fails.
Tried the earliest dated B image rather than the most recent, fail.
The Server B backups show as "Success" each night.
Copied image from B to the same storage drive on A where the A backup image is kept, and used the A hardware to attempt restore. Now only the latest backup date is available (as would occur normally if we had originally saved the backup to a network location).
Restore still fails.         It looks like its to do with the image rather than with the hardware.
Tried unticking "automatically check and update disk error info", still fail.
    Server A  SRP 100MB  C: 50.6GB on Seagate ST3500418AS 465.76GB  Microsoft driver 6.1.7600.16385   write cache off
    Server B  SRP 100MB  C: 102GB  on Seagate ST3500418AS 465.76GB  Microsoft driver 6.1.7600.16385   write cache off
Restore-to hard drive is also Seagate ST3500418AS.

"If your destination disk has a lower capacity than the source disk, you need to go into the disk manager and shrink each partition on the source disk before restoring."  Doesnt apply here.

for 0x80042403 says "The solution is really quite simple: the destination drive is of a lower capacity than the image's source drive." I cant see that here.
    Thank you so much.

    Hello,
    1. While recovering the OS to the new Hard disk, please don't keep the original boot disk attached to the System. There is a Disk signature for each hard disk. The signature will collide if the original boot disk signature is assigned to the new disk.
You may attach the older disk after recovering the OS. If you want to recover data to the older disk then they should be attached as they were during backup.
    2. Make sure that the new boot disk is attached as the First Boot disk in hardware (IDE/SATA port 0/master) and is the first disk in boot order priority.
    3. In Windows Recovery Env (WinRE) check the Boot disk using: Cmd prompt -> Diskpart.exe -> Select Disk = System. This will show the disk where OS restore will be attempted. If the disk is different than the intended 2 TB disk then swap the disks in
    correct order in the hardware.
    4. Please make sure that the OS is always recovered to the System disk. (Due to an issue: BMR might recover the OS to some other disk if System disk is small in size. Here the OS won't boot. If you belive this is the case, then you should attach the
bigger sized disk as System disk and/or exclude other disks from recovery). Disk exclusion is provided in System Image Restore/Complete PC Restore UI/cmdline.
    5. Make sure that Number and Size of disks during restore match the backup config. Apart from boot volumes, some other volumes are also considered critical if there are services/roles installed on them. These disks will be marked critical for recovery and
should be present with minimum size requirement.
    6. Some other requirements are discussed in following newsgroup threads:

HELP! Does anyone know a "Data Recovery Expert" for I-Cloud & I-Phone? - My calendar disappeared during I-Cloud transfer of data from my old I-Phone 4 to my new I-Phone 5s. It was on both I-Phones then vanished. (It was evidently not syncing during back-ups on the laptop)
The Apple techs are looking. But they can't find it. Nor can they find a back up on my laptop, Evidently when I backed up my Iphone to computer the calendar wasn't syncing. Since I only use the calander on my phone - I never noticed.
The Apple store rep that sold me the I-Phone 5 on Monday, was transferring my contacts and calendar thru I-Cloud (I never used I-Cloud before that moment - and always had it turned off). He successfully transferred the contacts - which are still on my phone), but the Calendar weirdly split into 6 calendars (2 of which were linked to my G-Mail which only had a few entries) (4 were linked to my MSN / Hotmail email and contained all the major events/data). I never created calendars that were separate or liked them to 2 different emails. I just typed entries into the I-Phone calendar. However, the calendar did exist on the new I-Phone for 24 hours. Something happened during transfer. When the Apple Genius Bar tech was attempting to back up my Calendar & merge the 6 calendars, everything disappeared in his hand while he was looking at it.
I am hoping that some really good data recovery expert exists that can restore the calendar that was in both I-Phones yesterday. It is completely devastating if I can't recover it.
Any help, or referrals, is great appreciated!!!!
    Thanks!

If you installed a generic copy of Windows 7 on your computer prior to creating your personal HP Recovery Discs, you may no longer be able to do so. If the "HP Recovery" partiton still exists on the hard drive and hasn't been damaged, please use the Windows Disk Management Console to mark or set the HP Recovery partition as active and reboot your computer. Please see HP - Partitioning and Naming Hard Drives (Windows 7) for information about using the Windows Disk Management Console. Upon rebooting, the computer should start the HP Recovery process. After recovering the computer to a factory like state, you should be able to create your personal HP Recovery Discs.

  • How can i restore from Recovery Disk if my notebook's hard drive and dvd drives are dead.

Hi. Good day. My hard drive just crashed and im trying to restore from my restore disks. Unfortunately, my dvd is dead too. I copied the recovery disks to a new hard drive and tried booting from a flash drive but the noteebook is still giving me the SMART hd error message. Please help. Thanks.

    Hi,
If you have, or can borrow an external CD/DVD drive it would be worth trying this although I'm not certain your notebook will support booting from a drive connected via USB.
Another option may be to see if you can find a second hand optical drive on somewhere like Ebay - the drives compatible with your notebook can be found on Page 59 of your Maintenance & Service Guide.  It may even be worth removing a re-seating your existing drive just in case this helps as described in this section.
Does the drive show up in Device Manager?  If it does, right click it and select Properties.  Select the driver tab and see if there is an error code in the status box.

Hello,,I just bought a HP ENVY Phoenix 810qe 245 Desktop Pc with win 8.1 it has 3 hard drives and I want to know if it possible to create my recovery disk on 1 of my hd's,,would there be any problems If I did it this way, if something happens to my main ssd drive I would be able to use harddisk f drive to restore back easy, since there would be other files on the hd f disk would the system find the files needed?,I guess I would just need to change the boot order in bios and then it should find what it needs right??And I love win 8.1 now, took few hours to learn but I think it blows away win 7 and xp by far..makes my ol xp system look dusty...

    Hi,
One of the restrictions with the Recovery Media Creator application is that it will only allow the Recovery files to be written to removable media - USB Flash Drive or DVDs.  It does not support ( and will not recognise ) fixed drives whether internal or external.
An HP document regarding the creation of Recovery Media can be found on the following link.
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03481733&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en#N712
    Note:
If you decide to create our Recovery Media on a USB Flash Drive, it must be of a type that Windows 8.1 sees as a 'Removable Disk' - not all do and there's no completely reliable method for telling which will work until they're plugged in.  For example, in the image below, the usb flash drive Dave (G) shows as a 'fixed drive' and will not work, whereas the usb flash drive 'Removable Disk (H)' will work.
Thanks to @erico  the following USB Flash Drives are known to work:
Transcend USB 3.0 16Gb  - this may not be large enough in your case.
    Team Group F108 64G
    PNY Turbo 3.0 - 32GB
    Lexar Jumpdrive M10 Secure 64GB  USB 3.0
    Patriot Rage 3.0  32GB

  • Can't create a recovery drive: "Some required files are missing"

    Hi guys,
Didn't have much luck in MS forums, maybe somebody here knows?
Whenever I try to create a recovery drive I find that "We can't create a recovery drive on this PC. Some required files are missing. To troubleshoot problems when your PC can't start, use your Windows installation disc or media."
    Uh?
Is a fresh Windows 8 x64 (RTM) installation. Only thing that I can think of is it has UEFI and Secure Boot enabled.
If I helped you, please give me some kudos! ^^

    Hey there dann,
What version of Windows 8 are you using? It appears you may need to the Window 8 disc to be able to create the recovery drive because it needs files that are not on your system. I found those part numbers for the Windows 8 recovery media for you.
    04T7196 - Win 8 64 Bit US
    04T7223 - Win 8 Pro 64 Bit US
Additional part numbers can be found here for all system parts and recovery media for you the Twist (s230u). If you contact service back they should be able to get the media sent to you. Good Luck.

  • How can I found out the No. of Psocess running and How can I Release them

    Dear experts,
How can I found out the No. of Psocess running and How can I Release them.
I have 1GB RAM with oracle 10G. and please tell me How many processes can run with this RAM.

    >How can I found out the No. of Psocess running
well, that depends on where you are ? if you are on windows then task manager will tell you what all processes are running. if you are on unix then ps -ef will tell you about all the processes running on a particular machine
    How can I Release them.
what do you exactly mean by Release ? if you mean "end" that again has 2 scenarios, first that process ends by itself (ie after completing its job), another can be killing the process , that again will depend upon operating system. in windows you can kill a process from task manager itself, in unix you can use kill -9 PID to kill a process.
How many processes can run with this RAM.
loads of other details required before one can answer this question.no of processes in a very simple manner will depend how much memory is available and how much a process is eating.

  • BOOTMGR missing ( no data on laptop can be found)

Hi, I've purchased an HP Pivillion G6z notebook PC a month ago and my lil nefhew accidently knock down my laptop. it's shut down right away after that i try turing it back on again and again but the white letter keep showing up " BOOTMGR missing" I've tried to find many possibles ways to try and fix it but i chouldn't. I log into hp home site and try to fine the solutions and i have but the problem is that i do NOT think i have gotten a Recovery CD or anything. i've read many solution and all it's lead me to is the "recovery CD" so how do i get a recovery cd? how much does it cost? please help.

    Hi,
I would suggest trying the following procedure first of all - this should tell you whether there is a physical ( ie Hardware ) problem with the notebook of if the operating system just needs to be reinstalled.
If you have ( or can borrow ) a retail Windows 7 installation disc that is exactly the same version as your original OEM installation - ie if your notebook came with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit this is the exact retail version you would need.
If you don't have access to a retail disc, you can create an installation disc yourself on another PC - just download the correct Disc Image from the link below and use an application such as ImgBurn to burn the ISO correctly to a blank DVD CD - a guide on using ImgBurn to write an ISO to a disc is Here.  These Images are clean and from a well-respected source, however there are only limited versions available.
    Windows-7 sp1-iso-official-32-bit-and-64-bit
Use the disc to perform the installation, enter the Windows activation key found on the underside of your notebook when requested and when the installation has completed, use the 'Phone Method' detailed in the link below to activate the OS - this method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who just want a clean installation of Windows 7 without the additional software load normally bundled with OEM installations.
    http://www.kodyaz.com/articles/how-to-activate-windows-7-by-phone.aspx
Any additional drivers you may need can be found Here.
    Does this install Ok?

  • Hello I would like to ask if someone knows how can I found my stolen iphone?

Hello I would like to ask if someone knows how can I found my stolen iphone?

The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone/iPod Touch is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords.
If your carrier offers Blacklisting & they Blacklist the phone, it will be unusable as a phone.
If locked with a passcode, and running iOS 7.0, then phone cannot be activated or the passcode removed without knowing your Apple iD/Password. It will be nothing but a useless paperweight.
If not running iOS 7.0, the phone can be forced into recovery mode & restored.
