  • Why can't I download Photoshop CC(2014) and why does my Creative cloud app show updates for CC(2014) products I do not have?

Why can't I download Photoshop CC(2014) to my Mac Pro desktop running OSX 10.9.3.  My Creative Cloud app shows updates for all apps that I have as CS6 on my desktop but I have only subscribed to Photoshop CC.  Lightroom shows Install but it is installed.  Trying to Install Photoshop CC(2014) results in and error message "Installation failed Errors encountered during installation.(7) more information.
More information gives Exit Code: 7
Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting.  For Example, ERROR:

I also cannot directly download from my account on the web.  This has been going on for a week or more and I have tried numerous suggestions on the forums but got nowhere.  I uninstalled Creative Cloud app today but could not find the installer again so I assume that was deleted.  I cannot download that now as on Adobe's site it says we are experiencing problems.  Aren't we all.
I was happy with CC until last week but now cannot recommend it.
I also have a Macbook Pro retina and Photoshop CC(2014) downloaded no problem on that.

  • Where on earth can I re-download Photoshop Elements 6?

Where on earth can I re-download Photoshop Elements 6? I have upgraded my OS to Yosemite and it tells me I must re-install it. Downloads on the Adobe site go back as far as PS Elements 7.
I have my serial number. I don't want to buy another version. I don't want CC. I want my PS Elements 6, that I BOUGHT. Where I can I download it to reinstall?
And why is Adobe forcing me to post this on a public forum instead of allowing me to ask them directly??

You can't, sorry. If you bought PSE 6 on disc as the overwhelming majority of people did, you can't use a download version because back then discs and downloads had mutually incompatible serial numbers. The downloads that are available are essentially the trials and you couldn't enter a serial number into the trial back then, either.
If you really bought a download and didn't save the installation files, I'm afraid you're stuck, because those just aren't available anywhere now, to the best of my knowledge. At one point there was an Australian site that had them, but AFAIK those are gone there, too.

  • How can I successfully download Photoshop Elements 7.0?

Sorry if there is a question like this already.
I got a new laptop today. I downloaded all my software and transferred my files. However I have been unsuccessful to download Photoshop Elements 7. I have the disk and I have it installed in my old laptop. I have not had a problem with installing it before aside from it taking too long now and then.It always stops downloading when it is installing the background pictures. It specifically stops when it is installing the Grass Mat. jpeg or the Hand Made Paper01.jpeg.
I get the error message "error 1305. Error reading from file C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\7.0\Photo Creations\backgrounds\ (Grass Mat.jpeg/Hand Made Paper01.jpeg). Verify if the file exists and that you can access it."
I followed the troubleshoot Adobe offers for this error without success. When I tried to install it from my desktop, but the file Data1 or something couldn't be copied because my laptop could not read it. I tried taking out the disk and putting it in again, I tried manually downloading from 'Computer', and I have also temporarily turned off my anti-virus protection.
I have only fixed the error once the first time when I clicked on the jpeg file it requested (though no photo could be shown so I guess no access?) , but then it got stuck on another jpeg. I need help! I really would love to have this installed.

Elements 7 is an ancient version but there is a download link available here

You must follow the Very Important Instructions on that site first before you click the download links.
Alternatively you can upgrade to the current version Elements 12 for US$79.99.

  • Can I re-download photoshop c6 after my computer crashed...

    Hi all,
I purchased the student photoshop about a year and half ago and have been using it faithfully since. I run a photography business so photoshop is vital. My computer recently crashed, hard drive is done for and everything. They said there's no way to fix it and I did not back it up on anything... My question is: Can I re-download this program onto a new computer?
My second question would be, How many times? I do not have the funds at the moment to buy a good, permanent computer, so I am using a loaner and plan to use it for a couple months. Like I said, I need Photoshop badly for my business, so I would like to download it onto this loaner in the mean time. BUT I would obviously then need it on my permanent computer when I can afford it. Is there ANY way to do this? I swear I am not going to put it on different computers all at one time. If there is any way to prove this, I will.
    Thanks!

    Hi Danielacowan,
You can try downloading Photshop CS6 from the direct download links available at : http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html
But make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download.
A retail version of the software can be used on 2 computers as per Adobe's End User License Agreement (EULA).
You can go ahead and use it on the loner computer till you buy yourself a new one.
Before installing the software on the new computer you need to 'Deactivate' the software from the loner pc by going to the 'Help' menu within Photoshop CS6 menu and select 'Deactivate'. If you don't deactivate the software then it will increase the activation count of the license and you will not be able to install it on other machine without deactivating the previous copy first.

  • Why can't I download Photoshop CC on Windows XP?

Having trouble downloading Photoshop CC on my Windows XP version 5.1.2600.
When I hit the download button here https://creative.adobe.com/products/photoshop
I get this message: You are running an operating system that Photoshop no longer supports.
    Any help much appreciated?

Photoshop cs6 should run okay on windows xp, but there a few things you might want to know:
The 3d and lighting effects functions are not available on windows xp
Camera raw  and the dng converter won't be updated for windows xp anymore after version 8.3, which is the newest version as of now for photoshop cs6
Just some things to consider if your looking for an excuse to get a newer computer with windows 7 or 8

  • Can I still download Photoshop CC ?

I have CC and CC(2014 2.2) installed on my MAC OS10.9.5 and they both used to work.  CC (2014 2.2) still works.   But when I launch CC I get  "Could not initialize Photoshop because of a Program Error".
I have both coexisting and running on Windows 7.
Can I get a fresh copy of CC from Adobe or only CC(2014) ?
I assume the error means I need to re-install CC.  Or is it fixable.
    Ad<thanks>vance

Thanks very much Silkrooster.  I never did those steps before.  It makes life much easier that way rather then downloading from Adobe.
So after all that, it did updates and basically refreshed all PS-ACR-BRIDGE and when I tried launching PSCC, got the same error.
So I did what I should have done in the first place, reset the prefs.  Cmd+Opt+Shift.
PS CC now works,  but I need to do all my custom settings again.
Thanks for helping, I learned a new way to manage all my apps for Adobe now.
    Happy New Year

  • Why can't i download Photoshop CC?!

When I click on the DOWNLOAD button, it says "Photoshop is a desktop app so you'll want to download it on your computer". I AM on my computer. It doesn't give me any other option to continue the download. What's going on here? My credit card just got charged over $50 for this so it better work.

I ran into the same problem using Google Chrome. I switched browsers, and when I tried the download in Internet Explorer it worked just fine. You will use Adobe Application Manager CC (v7.0) to download the new applications. Try switching browsers to see if that solves your problem? Good luck!

  • I can't fully install Photoshop Elements 8 on my mac.

I purchased the software awhile ago, and just opened it today.  It wont launch the installation instructions when I insert the disc into the drive.  I opened up the installer, but I'm sure it didn't install correctly... I cannot launch the program at all - all I see are the file names etc. when I open the folder.  Also, I don't believe it installed correctly because there isn't an icon only a folder labelled pse.  I have a MacBook Pro.

    I'm using Mac OS X 10.5.8
The file for Photoshop is on my desktop.  The attachment is a screenshot of
what it looks like when I open the Adobe folder on my desktop.
    Thanks,

            baos.close();
            return outputString;
}The problem is that some pages are cut! I make output of result string (outputString) ans see for example just 2/3 of the real page content.
Is it possible to overcome this difficulty?

Personally, I'd suggest reading the whole page as bytes into baos and covert to string with one call to boas.toString(encoding)Or use a StringWriter. The way you're doing it is the worst of both worlds. Can you help me please with a sample link?
Or please tell, is it right solution?
