Can't get 10.47 on Nokia 2730

Hi,
I heard of some 10.47 update but I can't get it. It says no new software available. I am running 10.45.
If anyone could reply that would be great.

Well I have a strange problem, my parents sent me a Nokia 2730 classic phone from Brazil to me, when I check the firmware version (*#0000#), it displays v10.45, but when i went to http://www.nokia.co.uk/support/product-support/device-software-update/can-i-update and input my product code (that is 0594445), the site give me the v10.40 as the latest firmware available. (My phone isn't locked to any operator)... What is going on?

5300 crashed and can't get passed welcome screen

I only bought the Nokia 5300 a couple of days ago but already it has crashed and now can't get passed the white Nokia welcome screen when I turn the phone on.
Admittedly, this did occur after I tried downloading an app and now fear this has permanantly damaged the phone.
Has this happened to anyone else or can anyone help?

When did you start getting this particular error in the MixRadio app (updated version of Nokia Music)? Are there any phone settings that have been changed in your phone prior to this? Do you immediately get the error upon launching the app, or does it only appear when trying to download songs use specific features of the app? Make sure your own music files are saved in the proper folder (Digital sounds) whether in your memory card or the phone memory, the location should still be:
Sound Clips > Digital Sounds.
If your songs/mp3s are saved anywhere else, it will not show up as a selectable ringing tone.
You can move your songs through File Manager on your phone if they are in the wrong location (Options > Move to folder).

Nokia N8: I just can't get my Quick Office and PDF...

The installation log shows both these programs installed on 18/08/11 when I upgraded to Symbian Anna but their icons don't appear in my apps.
ACTION TAKE SO FAR
1) tried reinstalled firmware through Ovi suite - failed to have programs
2) advanced date on phone to 22/10/11 and using software update on phone... updates appeared for Symbian Anna 1/2 and 2/2 and installation appeared to take place. However, no icon for Quickoffice or PDF.
3) If I go to settings > application manager > installed apps then Adobe Reader LE version 10.00(245) is listed as being on C: phonememory and Quickoffice 6.04(460) on C: phonememory

QuickOffice and Reader Lite are included in the 1/2 additional software update, there is nothing for Nokia to put back, you need to get the additional updates installed.

Can't get my nokia messaging email to work anymore

It was working fine then yesterday all of a sudden it quit syncing to my email. I enter password and it says verifying password please wait.....then it says login unsuccessful please try again.
Well I have more than one email so I thought I just set up my other one. Then it says unable to connect to server please try again later. I even tried my daughters email like she suggested and it still doesn't work.
I don't know what happen. It was working fine yesterday and then today it quit working.

It's not a virus your phone has, it cannot get them. It's probably just old and in need of a reset due to it's age. It may also have a corrupt memory card or hardware fault.

I have a Nokia 2730 classic.
On 3G, the maximum supported speed is 384 kbps. Right?
I noticed that on 3G on this handset, the maximum speed is only 150 kbps (when connected via PC Suite for browsing internet).
I called up my operator's customer care and they tried to help, but it did not work. Then I tried using the same sim on a 3G HSPA USB modem and got the expected speed of 3 mbps.
I upgraded the phone's software to 10.45 but that did not fix the issue.
Any suggestions to be made in the settings to correct the speed from 150 kbps to 384 kbps on the Nokia 2730?

If you want to use your phone as mobile data modem, consider to go for a phone with HSPA.

Or do I need to get an iphone?
What is stopping it, limitations in the phone, OS, hardware? Or some implementation needed to be done to the spotify software?
