Can't get a running total of data used.

Have a mifi jetpack and I have to constantly log into my acc't online to see my usage. I even have to total it up because they won't show total usage; only daily. It always shows 0 on the device and in my verizon on comp. Anybody else have this issue?

You can upgrade from 10.5 to 10.6 with no problems. Any program that runs under 10.5 should run under10.6. Once you are at 10.6.8 you can buy Lion for $29 from the App Store if you have at least a model 2,1 MacBook. Lion will require at least 2gb of RAM but really needs 4gb to run smoothly. Before Mac switched to Intel processors they used Power PC processors from 1994 to 2005. Power PC 601 through 604, G3, G4 and G5. What are the sizes & modification dates on the files you found?
Could be many things, we should start with this to be safe, though 2 different ones would seem unlikely to be this problem...

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.

How can I get missing contacts, notes, calendar dates and reminders that are just on my old iphone onto the iCloud for transfer to my new iPhone upgrade? Half of my contacts, notes, ect. were on my iCloud so have happily moved to my new iPhone but the rest are completely resistant. For example, on my iCloud I have 14 missing contacts starting with the letter A alone, however they are happily viewable on my old iPhone 4S and won't budge over into the iCloud.
There are also 3 notes missing yet still acessible on my onld iPhone 4S, the list goes on.
Your help would be most appreciated. Thank you so much.

I have different libraries on each machine which I need to sync with the iPhone, both in iTunes. It seems to be workiing fine on the Windows 7 machine, but not even reconizing the device at all in iTunes on Windows XP.

Hi turingtest2 - thanks for the reply. As you say It is how it is - and I have three workstations in this home (not counting three for my children and one for the family) and I pretty much always have more than one OS on each - that's how it is for me. I shouldn't have to worry about how many OSs I have (or how often I change them) just to have music while I'm working - through the PC sound system that is. I never have to worry about any other software, only iTunes. Once in a while (in the past) I've made a vendor call if I changed to many things to often (like CPU, GPU, memory, etc - or even a replacement MB) - but that hasn't happened in a couple years (at least since Vista) so I think (hope) they have fixed that for good. And even then it was a quick call and problem resolved. The only (glaring) constant problem is iTunes - limiting my own use of my own music (by counting an OS as a physical PC). Even with VM (which is just another OS) - although you can Attach things to multiple active OSs - it's still your own (purchased) music - and all on one PC. Thanks again!

If you never backed up your phone to iTunes and never backed it up to iCloud all of your content is gone forever.

Can't get MDB run-as to work

I am trying to configure J2EE security on OC4J standalone 10.1.3 for a set of EJBs. I have a stateless session bean that I want to control access to. I have assigned method permissions to it so that only a certain role can access it. I then configured a client with J2EE credentials for a user in that role and remote EBJ lookup/access is working great.
The problem is that I also have a JMS-based MDB in the same application that needs to access the session bean, but I can't get the run-as declaration to take effect. When the MDB tries to call create() on the session bean's home interface, the following Exception gets thrown:
ERROR javax.ejb.AccessLocalException: anonymous is not allowed to call this EJB method, check your security settings (method-permission in ejb-jar.xml and security-role-mapping in orion-application.xml).
Below is the relevant sections from my deployment descriptors, if anybody has any input I'd appreciate it.

The tangent ist the derivative of the curve in that point. You can try to use a numerical derivative vi or keep it simple an approximate with a line through the adjacent points.

I just thought of a workaround...you could have a Menu Bar Ref indicator on your main VI front panel. When your VI runs, you could have the Current VI's Menubar function wire the refnum into that indicator. Then, in your subVI that has the VI reference, you could use VI Server to read the value of that indicator, then cast the value into a refnum wire, then you'd have access to the menubar reference in the subVI without having to pass it in to a subVI terminal. Would that work?
Oh, another simpler idea would be to simply wire the Menubar reference into a global, and read that global in the subVI.

In Snow Leopard you update Java from Software Update (in the Apple menu). You can check your version by opening Terminal and typing
java -version
(don't get creative and type anything else)

Cumulative Key Figure (Running Total) - how to use in formula?

We have a scenario where I need to use the cumulative value of a Key Figure in a subsequent formula. The Cumulated property setting at the Key Figure level in the query is a Displayed Data Only setting, however, so the cumulated values are not available for use in a formula The individual values are used by BW as opposed to the cumulative values that are displayed in the column.
Ive tried using the Cumulated property at the characteristic level. I am then able to use the displayed cumulative values in a formula. However, I also need to display the individual (not cumulated) Key Figure values in a column. These individual values are no longer available for display if the Cumulated property is set at the Characteristic level.
I thought that the Define Cells functionality could possible be used, but there is only one Structure in the query, so the Define Cells functionality is unavailable. I could not think of a way to use a second structure in the rows, as the rows need to be dynamic (two characteristics, populated based on user input variables).
It may be possible to accomplish this requirement by adding a column using VBA in the SAPBEXonRefresh sub, but use of VBA is not a preferred option, as the query may be run in either the Excel Analyzer or the Web Analyzer.
The infoprovider does not contain a Key Figure field for Cumulative Volumes.
The scenario details:
Rows (Characteristics):
A: Plant (values based on user input variable)
B: Calendar day (values based on user input date variables for start & end dates)
So there is one row for each day within each plant.
Columns (Key Figures):
A: Cumulative Volume at Start of Period (uses user input date variable for start date, and Constant Value property. Hidden column.)
B: Daily Volume (for each day in the period defined by the user input variables for start and end dates)
C: Cumulative Volume at End of Each Day (formula, meant to be equal to the sum of the Cumulative Volume at start of period plus the total so far of the Daily volumes. In other words, equal to the sum of Column A plus the running total of Column B).
Does anyone out there have any more ideas on how to accomplish the required Cumulative Volume computation?

I've created a Global Calculated Key Figure (CKF), and have looked at and tried a number of settings in the Properties of this new CKF.
I have not yet been able to make this work for me.
The "Cumulated" property for a Global CKF is also a display-only property. The displayed running total is not used in any formula containing this CKF, only the individual values are used in the formula.
If I select the 'Enhance' option, where exception aggregation can be done as I think you suggested, I do not see a 'cumulated' option. If I select the 'Summation' option for 'Exception Aggregation', then the 'Reference Characteristic' pull-down is not available.
Is there a different 'Exception Aggregation' option I should be using for running totals at the calendar day level?
Or am I unclear on the concept of your suggestion?
Perhaps you're on a later version of BW that has more Exception Aggregation options? (We're on BW3.5)

Another way is to open your Time Machine back up or clone (if you have one) and copy the App Store app from the /Applications to your Macintosh HD's /Application folder.
Right click on the Time Machine icon in the Menu Bar.
Select Enter Time Machine; then navigate to a date you know it was still there and copy if from the /Applications folder.
