Can't get Adobe Exchange

Adobe exchange does not show up in the extention window. I read I needed to update exchange manager 6.0.2 first. But I get this error msg,
Adobe Extension Manager CS6 Update
Installation failed. Error Code: U44M2P7

Can't Get Adobe Reader 8.1 to Open in Windows XP

All of a sudden, I can't get Adobe Reader to open in the Windows XP environment on my laptop. Message: "Adobe Reader 8.1 has encountered a problem and needs to close..." [Error Signature: AppName: acrord32.exe AppVer: 8.1.0.137 ModName: mvcr70.dl ModVer: 7.0.9466.0 Offset: 000013d6] Have tried everything I could think of: uninstalling previous versions, reinstalling 8.1 from the website, disabling Norton 360 protection while downloading. Anybody know what gives and how to fix it?

Can't get adobe reader to install on my new laptop with windows 8

I can't get adobe reader to install onto my new laptop with windows 8. Basically what happens is that I start the download from the adobe screen by clicking the yellow download button, then I click run (I've also tried save and run), then I allow the program to make changes to my hard drive, and then finally a blank grey box appears in the in the middle of the screen, titled "adobe reader installer". After this box appears nothing else happens. I've let it sit for at least 30 minutes and still nothing. I've also disabled my pop up blocker, and set the security settings to default as suggested in other posts. Unfortunately this is the only pdf program that works for the site we have to use to write contracts, so I need to get this figured out asap. Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

Thanks the address you gave me gave me what I needed but still had alot of trouble with the game. Come to find out it was my browser IE8 that was causing all the problem. So I changed to google chrome and loaded the regular version of Flash player and have been able to get on the game. Now i have trouble with my plugins can you send me a link to find Adobe flash player plugin 9.0.124.0?

Flash is not supported on the iPad, and probably never will be.
Depending on what sites you are trying to access, you might find that some of them (probably more so if they are news sites) have their own apps in the App Store which might let you get some of the content that you want (and there is the built-in YouTube app). Also there are browsers such as Skyfire, iSwifter, and Puffin which 'work' on some sites - but judging by the reviews not all sites. If you want to play flash games then you are probably out of luck if you want to play on-line though the iSwifter app might work on some of them, but again some flash games have app versions in the store.

Can we get Adobe InDesign CS6 and use CS5?

We currently have 4 license of InDesign CS5 that comes with Adobe Creative Suite CS5.
Also an Adobe Product Premium CS5.5. We now need to get an extra license for InDesign CS5 for the Adobe Product Premium CS5.5 machine.
I noticed Adobe now sells CS6 versions only. Can we get Adobe InDesign Cs6 and have down grade right to use InDesign CS5?

The lack of security updates requires me to update any old OS. Unless you never connect to anything on the Internet with the computer OR you never have anything to protect on your computer running such a computer leaves you open to theft, fraud, etc. The major problem with Mavericks and soon with OS X.X is unfamiliarity. Sure they have features we don’t like. But I bet so did the one you are running, when you upgraded to it.
Having said that I really got miffed when I was required to update my TV to work with digital signals. I have no trouble telling people to upgrade their computer, but ask me to upgrade my TV those were fighting words.

I downloaded adobe.com/products/ digital editions but my computers says windows can't run it?? help - I have the lastest flash... ? (I have windows vista )

Here is what computer (Windows Vista) says when I try to run the program. "Adobe digital editions has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"

Thank you for getting back to me. I have a table with columns in it and I’m trying to copy just one of the columns, think of it as a stock table you would get in a newspaper and I just want to copy the column that has all the symbols in it. I use to be able to do this with no problem in previous versions of Adobe Reader by just putting my cursor next to the column I wanted, holding down the Alt key and selecting the data I wanted . But with the new version that came with my new laptop running Window 8.0 I can not accomplish this task. Adobe Reader wants to copy everything in the table. I would take a screen shot to show you, but when I open Reader, it takes over my entire screen and I can not get back to my task bar or desktop without closing the app. If you could also tell me how to correct or adjust this annoyance I would appreciate it. Needless to say I’m not currently a big fan of the new version of Reader. Is there any way I can go back to a previous version of the product with Windows 8 as my OS?
