Can't get Adobe login to work in Muse forum

I have Muse questions and I'm really hoping I don't have to create yet another online account. (Whatever happened to that thumbprint login technology that was supposedly being developed by somebody years ago?!!)
Do Adobe accounts not work on the Muse forum?

Thanks for your response. I'm still hoping to make my current login work because I don't want to have to read through the Terms of Service of Get Satisfaction, and you never know what people are trying to sneak in these days. I'm using a Mac with Safari. What window are you logging in under? When I'm signed in to this forum, I open another window to get to the Muse forum and it asks me to login again. When I click on login, I get a window offering to let me sign in with Google, Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live or an Open ID URL, or create a Get Satisfaction account. Is there another place to login with Adobe IDs? Thank you!

Can't get Adobe Flash to work reliably with Video

I'm going NUTS trying to fix Adobe Flash - I hate this company and wish they would go out of business.
Short of that, I want to use Safari as my default browser. Problem is, Adobe site says I have the latest version and shows it's working. However, many sites running Flash video that I need (primarily my investment site and Mint.com) use flash and the player doesn't work there. They do however work in Chrome.
How can I fix this? Nothing seems to work. Does anyone else have this problem?
I've gone through the reinstall, deleting the files in Internet Plug Ins, and opened up the persmissions in Safari preferences. HELP!!!!

If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test. For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 8. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
You might have to log out or restart the computer before a Flash update takes effect.
Step 2
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Close the window. Then select
 ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.
Step 3
If you're only having trouble with YouTube videos, log in to YouTube and load this page. You may see a link with the text "Leave the HTML5 Trial." If so, click that link.

If you get a warning of a "blocked" or "outdated" plug-in, then from the menu bar select

Re-download and reinstall Flash. Download it from the domain "get.adobe.com". Don't click a link from any other website, including this one, because you can't trust links. They may be an attempt to trick you into installing malware masquerading as Flash. Type the address into the browser window. Never download a Flash update from anywhere else.
Step 8
If you get a "missing plug-in" error, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
from the Safari menu bar and check the box marked
Allow (or Enable) plug-ins
Then click the button marked
Manage Website Settings...
if present and make sure that the website is not blocked for Flash.
Step 9
Select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
from the Safari menu bar. If any extensions are installed, disable them.

Can not get adobe flash to work on my computer!

I've downladed adobe flash numerous times on my computer and I can not get it to work. It always says that the download and installation has been completed, but when I go to open e-mails that need the softw the e-mail states that I do not have adobe flash on my computer! I have done the downloading and install on different computers and had no issue, but I can not figure out why it is not working on my coputer. I also removed my anti-virus software just in case that was causing the problem, but I'm still not having any luck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and I look forward to any advice that anyone may have.

What mail client do you use?
And when you state "e-mails that need the softw" - do you mean you receive email messages with embedded Flash content?

How can I get Adobe connect to work with 10.7.5?

When I do an Adobe connect using my MacBookPro running 10.7.5, the person on the other end does not get anything visible, except a moving cursor. Ever since I upgraded to 10.7.5, my Adobe Connect does not work correctly. Any suggestions?

How can I get Adobe Reader XI working correctly?

Last week, I had issues with opening any PDF. After suggestions given here and trying several other things, my husband ran Kaspersky's task killer and the good news is that I can now open Adobe files on my hard drive. Unfortunately, I'm unable to open PDFs from any websites. It looks like they going to launch but nothing ever completes/opens. Windows updated last night and now I received an overall Internet Explorer error whenever I try to launch a PDF from a site. Local documents still open fine. Thoughts?

1. What's your IE version?
2. What kind of error do you receive? Attaching the screenshot will be helpful.
3. Would opening the local document in IE work? (In IE, choose File > Open (or just CTRL+O), and choose any PDF file stored in your local hard drive.)
4. Would following the steps listed here fix the problem?

Flash is not supported on the iPad. You cannot download it. There are apps that will allow you to view some Flash content on the iPad but they have met with mixed reviews. Search the app store. You can look at Skyfire and see what you think after reading the reviews.

Installed Mobiliser 5.1 on RHEL but can't get the login to work

I installed Mobiliser 5.1 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and was able to start the mobiliser platform and the WEB UI . But i try to logon to the portal at localhost:8082/portal/login i keep getting the ERROR "we are experiencing technical difficulties. please try again later". and i see the following in the log files :

Based off of your description there are two things that could be wrong here.
According to your logs you have a credential issue which is something that I am not sure how you decided to set up. I imagine that you followed these steps when dealing with credentials:
1. Created an encrypted credential using the com.sybase365.mobiliser.vanilla.cli-tools-5.1.3.PL01-CLIPasswordEncoderClient.jar in the {Mobiliser_HOME}/tools directory and placed it in the proper location within the MOB_CUSTOMERS_CREDENTIALS table in your database.
2. Created and encrypted preferences password based off of the plain password chosen in step 1, and placed encrypted value within the MOB_PREFERENCES table in your database
3. The preferences key that you used in step 2 is the same key that is specified in tthe context.xml file that is located in the WEB UI installation directory.
If you have done all of these things it is also possible that you may be attempting to log into the wrong portal.
There are two different portals; 1 for consumers and 1 for administrative users. If you attempt to log into the consumers portal with an administrative account you will get a login error, and vice versa.
My assumption is that you are following the standard deployment diagram that is specified in the installation guide.
If there is any confusion on the things that I asked you to check let me know and I will attempt to be a bit clearer, but based off of the information that you have provided these are things I would check first.

Can't get AIM login to work, AOL login works fine, AIM login does not

I know this has been posted before but I cannot get this to work.
My daughters AIM login is her AOL screen name.
She can log in to AOL with her password with no problem,
SHe can log in to AIM.com with her password with no problem
But the ICHAT program cannot seem to log her in at all.
the box comes up saying that either the password or screen name is incorrect.
We tried the change to port 443 with no luck.
As a test of the system, My own AOL screen name logs in to ichat fine.
Any suggestions?

Back up all data before making any changes. Please take each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
Step 1
If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, and the problem is just that you can't print PDF's displayed in Safari, you may be able to print by moving the cursor to the the bottom edge of the page, somewhere near the middle. A black toolbar may appear under the cursor. Click the printer icon.
Step 2
There should be a setting in its preferences of the Adobe application such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected.
Step 3
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens (command-V), then press return.
From the folder that opens, move to the Trash any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari.
Step 4
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others — I don't have a complete list. Don't remove Silverlight if you use the "Netflix" video-streaming service.
Step 5
Do as in Step 3 with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari.

I can't get Adobe Flash to work on FF 25. Have downloaded and installed AF, but still get error message at Pandora, etc.

I'm using FF25 on Windows 7. When I go to Pandora and Grooveshark I get error messages telling me I need to install a newer version of Flash (v.10 or later). I've downloaded and installed (I think) Flash repeatedly, but I still get that error message. (Btw, I got the same message with IE, but I installed Flash for that and everything's fine.) I read somewhere that I needed to download the latest version of Real Player in order for Flash to work. I did that but get the same error messages. I am not tech savvy and not sure what to do now.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

I updated to the OS X 10.7.3 and now the adobe reader won't work. Does anyone know how to fix this or what I can do???

Ok so you are trying to open internet pdf links in you browser. The latest version of Adobe Reader doesn't work with Mac browsers. In the finder navigate to Macintosh HD/Library/Internet Plug-Ins and trash any Adobe plug-ins that are in that folder. You will have to enter your password to do that. Safari should then open pdf files with its built in pdf reader. If you are using Firefox then you should add the Schubert PDF Plug-In to it. If you don't have a specific need for the Adobe Reader then you would be better off uninstalling it and using the Preview app for your pdfs.

I can't get adobe premier to work on a network (restricted user)

possibly because of cach files location. but each time i change these settings they will change back to default.
Has anybody got an idea of how this problem can be overcome, so enabling the program not to crash at start screen.

I can't get Adobe Reader to work on my MAC OS X 10.8.5

I have installed the newest version of Adobe Reader and when I go to print pdf document it won't open the document at all and says I need to install the latest version of Adobe Reader. I keep repeating all the steps only to keep having the same problem.

The lack of security updates requires me to update any old OS. Unless you never connect to anything on the Internet with the computer OR you never have anything to protect on your computer running such a computer leaves you open to theft, fraud, etc. The major problem with Mavericks and soon with OS X.X is unfamiliarity. Sure they have features we don’t like. But I bet so did the one you are running, when you upgraded to it.
Having said that I really got miffed when I was required to update my TV to work with digital signals. I have no trouble telling people to upgrade their computer, but ask me to upgrade my TV those were fighting words.

Can't get HTML iframe to work in Muse CC 2014

I'm having some trouble with iframes in Muse CC 2014. I'm using Adobe Captivate 8 to create interactive tutorials. Catptivate then exports a tutorial as an HTML 5 web page into a folder with all of it's related content. I want to place that HTML 5 page into an iframe in Muse. I've tried following all of the advice on this discussion:

By the way, I believe that the tutorial above has an error. Under the heading "Adding iframes to your site to display other site pages with embedded HTML" it suggests this code:

I think that the error is in style="border: 0;"
But to continue with my problem. In Muse I chose "insert HTML" and typed the code below:

I wrote that code based on my amatuerish knowledge and what I read at w3schools. The preview in Muse doesn't show anything, so I published it here:

Again, the page just shows an empty iframe where the HTML 5 page should load. I've triple checked the URL, and I'm sure that it works.
I've also tried using the iFrame Builder Lite add-on (iFrame Builder Lite | Exchange | Adobe Muse CC). It has the same problem, which you can see on the published page here:
