Can't get alais for "path"

Question

I'm trying to write a droplet script that will automatically open any PDF dropped into it for Adobe CS2 (CS2-made droplet didn't work as it was supposed to) and I think I got all the syntax right, except I get this error when I try to drop any file in:
Can't get {alias "Volume:path:to:file.pdf"}.
The code for my script is below:
on open of theImage
tell application "Adobe Photoshop CS2"
open theImage with options {class:PDF open options, constrain proportions:true, use antialias:true, mode:RGB, resolution:200} showing dialogs never
tell document "My Document.pdf"
do action "Eink Tag" from "Eink Actions"

Can anyone clue me in on how to open the image without making it an alais, or otherwise fix the problem so dropping in a PDF opens it in Photoshop?

java.io.FileNotFoundException: dictData.txtA file named dictData.txt should be present in the current directory. If not, it will throw a FileNotFoundException.
