One or more of the following occurs:
iPod does not show up in iTunes or as disk in Windows Explorer
iPod does not show up as disk in Windows Explorer (even though disk mode is enabled on the iPod)
iTunes and Windows Explorer report the wrong amount of available space on iPod
No songs appear on the iPod after an apparently successful update from iTunes
Music copied to mapped network drive instead of iPod

Upgraded to Mavericks, now I can't get some websites to load

I am not sure if the two issues are related, but I recently upgraded to Mac OS X Mavericks and now my internet browsers are really slow and I can't get some websites to load. When I check to see if the website is up, the response from http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ is that it is just me. I assume it must be something with the upgrade as I did not have the issue prior to upgrading. I have tried accessing these sites in various browsers (Safari - preferred, Firefox, and Chrome), but none of them receive data from the site.
I also had a lot of trouble attaching a .jpg to an e-mail in Safari and Firefox. Google Chrome was finally able to get it to attach. I wonder if this is related.
Some of the websites that won't load are

Activated iPhone 4, but can't get any service...just says "Searching..."

So I purchased an iPhone 4 and activated it with my number. Verizon account says phone is activated with my number, and I set it up with iTunes and all that good stuff. However, I can't get any service at all. The rest of my family all has iPhone 4 and they get 3G coverage in our house no problem, but I can't seem to get service anywhere. I have tried everything in the book; reset network settings, reset all settings on phone, soft reset, updated to newest IOS, dialed *228 and pressed 2 to get new PRL, turned it on and off multiple times, etc . Still can't seem to get service, just keeps saying "Searching.." where the bars should be. Just wondering if there are any other steps I need to take. Appreciate any and all feedback.

I've tried, but I can't get any buttons to load in Encore Library (I do have menus!)

First, all the system info:
Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1
Intel HD Graphics 3000 Display Adapter
I’m using Premiere Pro CS6 Version 6.0.5 (001 (MC: 264587)) “Mighty Kilt”
Version 6.0.3.1 (64 Bit) of Adobe Media Encoder CS6
Version 6.0.2.004 of Adobe Encore CS6
Other Adobe applications installed: AIR, Creative Cloud, Download Assistant, Encore CS6 Library, Flash Player 12 ActiveX, Flash Player 12 Plugin, Help Manager, Premiere Pro CS6, Premiere Pro CS6 Functional Content, Reader XI
I’ve run check for updates on Premiere Pro, Encore and Media Encoder and everything is up to date
I have also already searched on these forums (and elsewhere!) for answers to this problem and have obviously not been able to fix it.

I've spent SEVERAL HOURS on this problem already. Ugh.
Two things that would be extremely helpful for me:
Does anyone know the actual FILENAME that contains the "button templates" or "loadable button styles" that would make these appear in Encore? Perhaps they did install somewhere on my computer, but I just haven't found them yet. If I knew the name of a file (or files) I could do a search and determine if I already have what I need. If there's a file for each button style and thus 50 different filenames, can you give me one or two and then perhaps the FOLDER name I could search on?
Can someone tell me how to load an image into a post so I can show you what I'm seeing (or not seeing?) A picture's worth a thousand words. Right now, when I click on the "camera" icon above where I'm writing this post, I get a grey box that says "Insert Images" but there are no links, nothing to click on or anything. Simply a red x up in the right hand upper corner. I'd embed a picture of that in this post, but I don't know how to embed the picture that shows my difficulty in embeding a picture. :-)

I'm just going to repeat the relevant sections from my previous post with the screenshots this time:
Below you'll see a snip of how my current folder structure appears. It's identical to yours, except there are no button files in the General Folder. Since you were kind enough to include a file name, I did a search on that specific one and it's nowhere to be found on my hard drive. Hmmm....
I've seen others remark on how... "challenging".... Adobe's instructions can be sometime. I'll admit to having the same feeling when I was trying to download and install all the content files and the 7-zip stuff. Is the answer somehow that I screwed up that? Note the 7-zip folder right above the Adobe folder. Here's a screen shot of that expanded folder contents:
Does that look like you think it should? Have I not installed or extracted something correctly?
Finally, the only other thing I can think of to give you as much info as you might need is to include a screenshot of where the "Functional Content" stuff got saved. Adobe's instructions about this (if I recall correctly) were that it did NOT have to be installed anywhere specific, but you then had to go into Encore (& Premiere) and through preferences point to this stuff, which I believe I did. But I don't see any button type files in these anyway.

Can't get any music to load on my nano

Could someone pleeeeeease help me out here - I'm going NUTS!!!
I am trying to put music on my ipod nano using itunes, it is music that I uploaded from CD's or that was already on my computer and is now stored in my itunes library.
I have checked the "manually manage songs & playlists" under preferences and so when I try and drag down my library to my ipod, it tells me that I don't have enough room on my ipod, even though there's only 1.15 GB in my library and my nano should hold 2 GB, then it says it will copy as many as possible, but it still no songs appear on my ipod.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling all the software, but no luck. still can't get a single song on my ipod. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

I can't get the drop down menu in the search box in newest version.

I just updated to the latest version (35.0) and can't get drop down menu. I couldn't get it in the last version either. I've filled everything out in the change settings page but still can't figure out how to get my choices to show up. (Please keep answers simple--I'm not a computer geek but I can follow clear directions.)

I see it now. Thank you, Phillip. I read the help page before, but I think it would help if that page pointed out that the options you have selected will appear at the bottom of the list of suggestions after you type a search in the box. Also that would have been clearer if I did not select give suggestions. The key point for my understanding was that I had to type a search first in order to get the options to appear, which is the opposite of how it worked before. Definitely fix that help page to make that part clear. And thanks again, so much.

Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait few minutes.
Plug it back in. Power on the router.
Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
Restart the computer.
Start up in Safe Mode.

Deselect Proxies if selected.
Safari > Preferences > Advanced > Proxies:
Click "Change Settings" button
The network preferences window for Proxies will will show up with "Proxies"
tab selected.
Under "Select Protocol", uncheck any box if selected.

Can't get my website to load...get error message

I have built 3 websites in iweb. One of them is forwarded to an outside domain. I am having no problem accessing that website via the web. The other 2 however also keep getting forwarded to the outside domain. I think this is a simple fix but my tired old brain can't figure it out. I had bookmarked one of the websites @ http://web.mac.com/delaney303/donquadestudio/home.html....until last night I was able to access through the bookmark, but last night when I did that I got an error message that the website can't be found. Also i have no idea what the iweb address for the 3rd website is. The good news is that i have all of the website domains ....they are still there...they have not been deleted. Thanks for any help.

Don't use the Visit Site Now button. It does not take you the right place (and that really doesn't matter either). Just make browser bookmarks for the urls you gave me and use those.
Normally I use bookmarks, to me it is just easier, but I couldn't find the mazza site to bookmark it and yesterday the donquade site bookmark stopped working and I got a .mac error message saying the page wasn't there ; probably for one of 3 reasons a) never published b) moved since published c) don't have .mac account I know I have a .mac account and the site has been published so I think somehow it is in the wrong place. I will quit using visit site now.
I want those websites to be found only by using the full iweb/.mac url because they aren't completed.

No, you will forward different unique urls to these two .Mac sites.

To get rid of the misleading stuff at the bottom of iWeb and in the Visit Site Now button, try going to your .Mac Account Settings and getting rid of the stuff you did in the Personal Domain area. You are not using CNAME and thus you should have nothing entered in this area.
I started to do that at this screen:and got this message:

If you entered the correct settings at your registrar more than 48 hours ago and your iWeb site still doesn't appear at your domain, try these troubleshooting tips....Personal Domain
So I selected to remove the domain and got this message
Are you sure you want to remove this domain?
If you remove this domain, your .Mac site will no longer be viewable at www.robertdelaneyarts.com
and now I am a big 'fraidy cat to remove it because I want people to be able to see it when they type in www.robertdelaneyarts. What am I missing...could I have just moved my domains somewhere and the computer can't find them? I think I have caused this problem and am still not sure what the next steps to follow are.

OK. Possibly onto something here. On the left hand side of the Business Rule tab there are all the calc scripts. Then only Bus Rule that appears there is a new one I created that was an exact copy of the Business Rule in question, just with a '- New' appended to the end of the name. Funny thing is both Business rules that are attached to the form do appear on the right hand side. Thus how could that be? How does one get the Bus Rules to appear on the left hand side? Haven't been in EAS Business Rules mode for a long time.

Check System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced
Click: Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Then empty the Safari cache.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop > Empty Caches
Quit and relaunch Safari then try Flash on a website for sound.

I have installed Adobe Creative Cloud for teams CC Packages which says that Acrobat XI Pro is installed. Your support page says it does not install Acrobat and I have to look in the Extensions folder for an MSI file. I have run a number of searches and cannot find the Acrobat extension folder please advise how can I get these applications to load onto my computer?
Also I now administer the teams and have accepted the invitation to I received to be a team member and download the apps. The admin page shows that I have been sent an invitation but does not show my account as "ACtive" unlike my other team members. I tried to use the link in the invite to accept it become active but the link displayed an error saying I had already accepted the invite... why is no account not active?
Finally what other product downloads in Creative Cloud do not actually download as part of the Creative cloud Packager for downloading the apps? e.g. acrobat and what else?

Are you able to copy the contents of the DVD to your computer? Are you receiving any particular error messages when you are trying to install? Finally which operating system are you using?
