Can't get authorized to use CS5; PS 6.0; PS 7.0 on new computer.

Sorry, failure to authorize was an earlier problem (I think.)
PS 7 is now uploaded.
Current question is to determine and download the latest version of
Bridge/Raw converter that will work with my PS 7.0 software. What
version(s)? Also, not clear on my CS version: It's dated 9/3003.
All this for Win 8 64bit

If you do not own a license for CS5 there is not much you can do to get it thru Adobe. They only sell current versions of their software (CS6 or Creative Cloud). You would need to find a third party vendor and take your chances with them.
If you do own a CS5 license you can download the software thru the following page and use your serial number to activate:

I found an old iPod classic of mine. It's not synced to my new MacBook Pro. How can I get the music and photos off of it and on to my new computer? When I plug it in to my new computer it wants to erase what is on it and transfer from my new computer.

I found an old iPod classic of mine that is synced to a computer that is long gone. I want to get the music and photos from this old iPod onto my new computer. Every time I hook the iPod up to my new computer it wants to delete what is on the iPod and replace with the contents of the iTunes that is currently on the new computer. I don't want to do that. I want to keep what is on the old iPod and transfer it to iTunes. Any help? Thanks!

If you are using windows, any version, make sure you are using Microsoft IE and check this thread http://forums.adobe.com/message/4309520#4309520 for info on how to get authorized.

I use system preferences-icloud and it just wants to verify the old apple id but doesn't afford me the opportunity to delete teh account or edit it like the iphone5 and ipad. Help?

What errors are you getting? Can you post the codew you are using to get MajorVersion.

Can't get pan to use more than 4 connections/server

My ISP has a news service that I users can access with a max of 20 connections per user.
I've been trying to use pan to download some file from this server, but I can't get it to use more than 4 connections.
On the pan web site it says to go to the NNTP menu,but I just can't find it.
What's up? Am I blind?

Have you overriden the doPost() method in ViewFormData? If not I think that you get this error message as a default
doGet() and doPost() should do the same thing so have one call the other

I'm sorry to hear that your iPhone 4s was lost, and glad that you were able to upgrade.
If your iPhone 4s was backed up to iCloud or using iTunes, you can restore the backed up data to your new phone.

I don't think that GarageBand can use wmas, but there's always good old conversion, and GarageBand can definitely use mp3s. Personally, I recommend media.io for stuff like this, but of course it depends on the size of your files. Otherwise I don't know that there's anyway to get GarageBand to work with them...

I need to check a few other things...
Click on 'Mail' in the upper left corner next to the Apple ()
Click Preferences
Click the 'Accounts' tab
Make sure your iCloud account is highlighted in the column on the left.
In the account information section what does it say next to:
Incoming Mail Server?
Outgoing Mail Server?
Also, did you use MobileMe before the iCloud?

Can't get Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 to launch.

Can't get Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 to launch. I click the icon and get the circular (opening animated icon) for about 3 seconds and then nothing. I've have this problem before and rebooting worked - not this time. I've went into the Adobe Premiere preferences files in the USERs directory and deleted the Premiere Pro file as an option to fix this issue which I found on this discussion board and that didn't work either.

Thanks alotSome generic "system variables" are available though Java, usually through the System class.
Date today = new Date();
is instantiated with the current date and time.
Other system values, like environment values, should be passed to java through the command line (-D option) by setting system properties.
Finally, platform specific values like the number of processes running will have to be written in platform specific code and executed by JNI (java native interface).
Java is platform or system agnostic. Common system values, like time, are implemented. Hopefully you won't need platform specific values.

I have downloaded itunes, but whenever I try to play a song that I have already purchased I get a message that tells me that my computer isn't authorized. How do I authorize it? This is a new computer.

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:
