It gets to 47 % load then flashes this message I only got FCE last week and haven't overloaded it. Any solutions?

If your iPhone 4s was backed up to iCloud or using iTunes, you can restore the backed up data to your new phone.

You can get Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
You should still have your profile folder, so when you install 3. you will get your bookmarks and other user data back.

3G and cellular are different ways of referring to the same thing, they can use the mobile networks for data. The cellular/3G models are £100 more than the wifi-only version.
The 3rd gen iPad uses a micro-sim card, the Mini iPads use smaller nano-sim cards, so you won't ba able to use the same sim card.

Had acrobat 8 instaled today i downloade a U torrent and suddenly acrobat turned into u torrent on all my adobe files .. went to open with clicked on acrobat and then it changed to Filemaker which ihave installed.. how can i get back to acrobat???? help

I originally had acrobat 7 in my machine when Adobe told me that they won't support it and gave me 8 by a direct download to my pc about 4 months ago. It sounds like you do not have a backup. You might consider a restore to before you installed the problem program. Can you open Acrobat by going to the Acrobat folder and clicking on Acrobat? If so, go to Help>Repair. After that, try the updates if you are not current. Hopefully that will resolve the problem. There is a chance that the program you downloaded as not a proper version and had a virus.

Here is what I did...
In spotlight I typed "mail", I opened up a "message", and it opened. I looked on my desktop and there was an "iMail" icon that was not there before. I was then able to access the mail normally as i would with Leopard. I deleted the old shortcut on my desktop and placed the new icon in the lower toolbar.
Worked as good as new..

Can't get my wireless to work.. PLEASE HELP!!!

I thought I was computer savvy and told a friend at work that has an issue with her internet that I could fix it. I am having more trouble than I thought. She told me it was a Windows 7 and it is a Dell Windows XP Professional service pack 3. I am not
very familiar with them.
She told me that she had uninstalled some programs she felt were slowing her computer down and now her wireless is not working the light is not on, the switch is on but when I go into network adapters all there is, is a 1394 Net Adapter and a Broadcom NetXtreme
and it acts like it needs a cable plugged in to get online when she has never had to use a cable before. I can not find anywhere where there is wireless settings or anything.
Someone please help, this lady is super nice and I would hate to let her down. I have the computer here with me now and if anyone could help I would appreciate is so much

Applet is running in simulator but can't get on the real card.. PLEASE HELP

I have been able to run my applet succesfully in a simulator, and it tested okay. My problem is that I can't get the sap or cap fil on my real card (gp211pkis)... I have read that it could be becaurse I need to specify a security domain AID...

in data field you must specify security domain AID.

Can't get a clean m2v no matter what - please help.

Folks, I've been working on a project about an hour long that will not yield a good DVD using Apple products or Toast. I keep getting subtle digital artifacts in different spots. Sometimes when I recpature footage and think I've fixed it, then recompress to make my dvd files, the artficacting shows up somewhere else. When I make a small Quicktime from my timeline that had the problem after compressing, the artifacts don't show up. The Quicktime (for the full show) is otherwise clean, but when I compress it using Compressor (90 minute best DVD) or let DVDSP4 encode it, i get problems either way. This happens both using Leopard and Tiger (as I tried these compression tests on two machines). I am at my wits end. Does anyone have any advice here. This is a mission critical situation and have never had these issues before.
Specs:
- DV NTSC Quicktime made from FCP 6 (FCS2)
- Leopard/ Tiger (both yielded same results)
- inconsistent artifacting
- Used Apple DVD compressor settings (not custom)
- Used DVDSP 4 for encoding
- Final Cut Studio 2
- Tried it on G5 dual 2.5 and MacBook Pro

This was true with V2 of Compressor, but v3 is actually far superior to BitVice or even Episode Pro, especially when it comes to down-converting from HD to SD-widescreen.
We just spent a few weeks thoroughly investigating and testing various software-based encoders: Compressor 3 (C3), Episode Pro, Sorenson Squeeze and BitVice.
Both Squeeze and BitVice have not had any major updates in over a year and are behind the curve when it comes to output options and overall quality of encoding. BitVice does not handle down-converting HD-to-SD well at all in fact, even at it's best settings caused visible compression artifacts not seen with other encoders. Episode Pro is extremely fast however their MPEG2 files are not compliant with DVDSP4 creating stutter and strobing playback. This is a known issue that Telestream has been working on but so far has not been given much assistance from Apple in fixing the issue.
The major complaint about C3 has always been it's speed - or lack thereof. However on our Leopard test-bed we found - as others have - that Leopards' thoroughly revised memory handling and complete redesign of hardware/software rendering engines have significantly increased C3's speed and accuracy.
A year ago BitVice was a serious and often preferred contender for then Compressor 2 however for the Mac there is no better encoding engine at any price than C3.
If you're having issues getting acceptable results from C3 I highly suggest the "Compressor 3 Quick Reference Guide", by Brain Gary. It's a quick read and I'd advise paying attention to small details since it's always the "devil in the details" about any encoding engine that seems to only show it's ugly head after testing.

As you can see, I have tried to use Base64 encoder, but that didn't work either. I got ArrayIndexOutOfBounds exception with that. I followed this thread to try that: http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=9&thread=302490. I used to get BadPaddingException when I didn't use "UTF-8" encoding. But now I get IllegalBlockSizeException. Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

The key is to use base64 encoding, but I didn't know that the class sun.misc.BASE64Encoder and sun.misc.BASE64Decoder comes with regular JDK. I searched for base64 encoders, but the implementation from Ostermiller didn't work for me. So, for those having the same problem, go to that site. Here is the snapshot:

Can't get sound to tv from MBP. PLEASE HELP.

I am having trouble getting sound to the tv from my MBP. I tried it on two televisions, a sharp and an LG. The only way I could get sound was through a stereo receiver on the sharp, and that took some doing.... So, I tried on the tv I mainly watch - and no sound. Is there possibly a setting within the tv, or should sound be automatic once i connect the rca into the headphone port on MBP.
The tv has the hdmi for video, and ports for audio, I plugged the white and yellow. I know it is probably something really simple - but I have tried all that I know to do. Thanks in advance....

You need an adapter. Mini DisplayPort can not output audio.

Can't get my WiFi to work...Please help!

Ok so today i went and bought a new laptop and after setting it up when i got home i tried to connect to my Fios internet via the wifi signal my modem/router sends out and every time i connect it says "limited access" and i can't browse the net or anything. What am i doing wrong? Any help would be awesome! Thank you.

Should that same thing work for me? My Palm Pre picked up our Wifi here at the house just fine....switched to a Nexus S 4G and it tells me either it's out of range OR remembered with WEP security and then switches immediately to disabled, secured with WEP. The symbol shows a "strong locked"...

Can't get ichat to work!!! Please help!!

Every time I try to log in to ichat, it rejects my password and wont allow me to do anything accept LOOK at my preferences but it wont let me change them. however it shows my status as being "available." I tried to change my password through support on apple website and changed it "successfully" yet when I go to log in, it STILL rejects my password...any ideas on what's wrong?
Does anyone know how to delete ichat accounts? I'd like to delete mine and try to start over, but I can't figure out how to do it!
