Can't get Browser Lab to do anything!

When I try to access the Browser Lab (locally) I get a message that reads:
"To preview page in Browser Lab you need to create a site. Would you like to create one now?"
What have I missed?
This has been going on for 2 weeks. I stupidly answered yes once and had to recreate EVERYTHING on my local site. I can't find anything close to this in the forum.
I'm running DW CS5, on a MAC OS 10.6, I just updated the mac, dw, cs live, emptied my cache. . . . .

When you get that message in DW, it means one of two things is going on:
You don't have any sites defined in DW, or
You have one or more sites defined but none of them are currently selected.
If you open the Site menu and choose Manage Sites, do you see a list of one or more defined sites? And if so, is the page you're trying to test saved under the root of one of those? If so, then you should be able to click on the site your page is stored in and click the Done button in the Manage Sites dialog to make that the active site. Once you do that, you should be able to click Preview (Local/Network) in our BrowserLab extension and see your page in BrowserLab.
If that doesn't work, does it work if you switch from "Local/Network" to "Server" and click the Preview button?

Make sure you actually have a 2nd Generation Apple TV and that it's on the same Wi-Fi network as your iPad 2. Using your Apple TVs on screen menu, go to Settings > AirPlay and make sure that it's turned on.
On your iPad 2, double tap the Home Button to bring up the App Tray/Switcher. The screen should slide up and you will see some app icons there. Slide them to the right and you should see a Speaker icon, a brightness slider, some iPod music control buttons, and a button with a square and a triangle at the bottom. This button is the Airplay button. Tap on it.
You should see two choices. iPad and Apple TV. If you choose Apple TV, there is a switch that says mirroring. Slide the switch and your content on your iPad should now be mirrored on the TV through the Apple TV. (Some apps don't allow mirroring but most do.)

When I try to access iPhoto it says "your application has is either in use by another application or has become unreadable." It recommends rebuilding the library, but says backup everything first. I can't get into it to back anything up"

Is there anything I can do on my own to get this fixed? I have tried shutting down and restarting and it does not help.

It is recommending backing up your entire system or have a current Time Machine Back up which includes your iPhoto
Then rebuild your iPhoto library as recommended:
hold the Command and Option keys down during the complete launch of iPhoto.

D/l f'fox 4,..now can only get test lab when click icon,..!!! cannot clear it

Can't get "VCAST Apps" to load ANYTHING

I just activated my LG Revolution two days ago, and when I try to open "VCast Apps," I can't get it to load ANYTHING. It just keeps loading, but nothing happens. Is there a solution? Can I uninstall VCast Apps, and then reinstall?

It's definitely frustrating to not be able to access applications on your new phone.
Do you happen to get any type of error message when you try to load V Cast Apps?
Are you having problems loading any other applications on your Revolution?
Please follow the steps below
1. Press MENU> SETTINGS> APPLICATIONS> PLACE A CHECK BY UNKNOWN SOURCES.
2. Open browser and enter following address. http://mobile.vzw.com/VCASTApps3 It is case sensitive.
3 .Download the application and if asks to replace the application, then do so.
Once you go thru the set up it should start working again.

My ios7 didn't upgrade all the way. Now I can't get online or do anything. It says I'm not connected to any server. I'm connected but can't get browser, email or even FTP ????

Special thanks for the article "Sun PPPoE on Solaris" by Phil Dibowitz and "Setting Up Solaris OS to Work with Cable Modems" by Muhammad Talha (I have DSL however). Without these 2 articles I wouldn't have gotten as far as I did.
First off I'm running on an AMD CPU with Realtek 8139 PCI plug in card.
Ok here is the problem. It looks like I have connected but I can't get the browser , email or even terminal FTP to work. I think I'm at the gateway but I can't get onto the internet.

Solaris gives me notice during BOOT that it can't configure rtls0: for DHCP but then connects somehow? later on in the auto connect script (script copied from Phils article)
Also Phil recommends running debug to generate the connect-errors file. Here it is ! You can see that I HAVE CONNECTED !

And yes I have tried everything I can think of with the DESKTOP PROXY SETTINGS. (but do I need to shutdown each time after I make a change? to the proxy?) Do I even need a proxy? My computer is plugged into a 3COM "Home Connect" HUB. I have an ALCATEL Speed Touch Home DSL modem.

I can't get my phone to sync anything.

In iTunes I have all my apps updated, I have over 7.7GB left of space, and I can't get my selected playlists, music or apps to sync. On my computer screen it shows that it should be syncing. Hoever, on my phone it is not adding anything. The updated apps are fine on my computer. My phone still says they need to be updated. It says it is syncing my music, shows that I am using up my phone's memory, but then when I go to play the music on my phone there is no music there. Any hwlp, suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Have you used this computer and only this computer to sync the iPhone previously?
Are you sure your Apple ID and password on your iPhone are the same as you're using on iTunes on your computer? Are you sure you have "authorized this computer" in iTunes for that Apple ID and password?

I can't get my iPod to do anything. It's just blank no matter if I hit the home or the power botton I get nothing.

I was able this morning to turn off my alarms and even download a few podcast. But after that I just can't get anything to happen. I've even connected it to my iTunes and still nothing. Has it died??

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

Accidentally clicked "Always save as pdf" for an ashx and can't get downloads to save as anything but that, regardless of whatever file fomat I choose from the menu/browse and request. HELP!

When I go to download and save a file with an .ashx extension, after downloading a pdf format file I accidentally clicked the "save all files of this type in this format." So now every .ashx download gets saved as a pdf, even though I have unclicked the "save all files of this type"...etc box, and actively choose a Word or PowerPoint or other format: they all get saved as pdfs and I can't open them! I tried going into the options menu and selecting "ask every time" for format of .ashx files but it has not helped. I have cleaning my cache and restrated my computer several times and it still refuses to download .ashx files as anything but pdf's. HELP!!!

Can't get iPod Classic to do anything!

My iPod classic has always seemed to struggle with connecting to my computer/iTunes but I usually put that down to it being the computers fault. Occasionally my iPod would freeze up and the only way I knew how to fix it was to let it drain it's battery and then once recharged it would again. Just now it frooze again so I let the battery die out, but now when I'm trying to charge it or connect it to the computer, I'm just getting an error saying "www.apple.com/support/ipod" with a picture of a red cross. I tried looking on the help site but can't find anything to help me.
Can anyone help me? Why is it coming up with an error? Why does it keep freezing up? Why won't my computer or iTunes recognise it?
(Also the entire back of the iPod is blank so I can't use the serial number to request help from Apple!)

I can't get my wlse to discover anything...

originally i had wlse 1.3.1 and 1220s, 340s, and 350s. i got the wlse to discover all of the ap's and i was a happy man.
now i have upgraded my 1220s to IOS. the 340s and 350s haven't changed. and i upgraded the wlse to 2.0. now i can't discover anything. i get snmp unreachable to everything i try as a seed device. i have set the snmp strings correctly.
what is going on?

It's in the on-line help. Misconfigured Devices group contains IOS APs that do not have an ISO view configured on them. You can create this from the device CLI or using WLSE. Doing this via CLI need the commands in the order listed:
snmp-server view iso iso included
snmp-server community view iso RO
snmp-server community RW
Devices that do not have an ISO view will be placed in the Misconfigured Devices system group after discovery and fault will be generated. The fault refers to a dot11mib problem.

Can't get browser.cache.disk.parent_directory to work

I've tried to use the browser.cache.disk.parent_directory method to move my disk cache, but this isn't working.
Details:
I did a clean install of Firefox 22 on Vista, and then, following instructions, went into about:config, created the browser.cache.disk.parent_directory key, and gave it the value of a directory I had created.
I then visited many different sites (no, not in private browsing mode), and noticed nothing was being saved there. In fact, the new directory is absolutely empty (no hidden folders either).
Looking at about:cache, I am informed:
Offline cache device
Number of entries: 0
Maximum storage size: 512000 KiB
Storage in use: 0 KiB
Cache Directory: C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\XXX.default\OfflineCache
And yes, browser.cache.disk.enable is set to true.
This is true regardless of whether I am using my admin account with no extensions or my standard user account with several extensions.
Advice?

I hate to be snide, but can you point out what there is in this link that addresses my question? (And yes, browser.cache.disk.capacity is obviously set to a positive value.)

How can i get browse sequence widgets to follow hyperlinks instead of TOC?

I've created a screen layout based on the standard desktop layout and am using the default browse sequence (back, next) widget buttons included with the layout. Our topics include a number of hyperlinks to other help topics - for example, a dialog box overview topic might include a link to a how to topic for that dialog. I would like the browse sequence buttons to follow the hyperlink paths to the previous and next topics viewed. Right now, they instead go to the previous and next topics in the TOC. Is there a way to modify the properties of the buttons to follow the hyperlinks instead?

I think you are confusing Previous and Next in a browse sequence with Previous and Next as in path followed by the user.
A browse sequence is not necessarily the next item in a TOC. It is whatever you set up, TOC order is a default.
You can have path followed Previous and Next in addition using javascript methods. You will find solutions posted in these forums.
