Can't Get Chapters to Show on iPad

Hey,
Well I think I've tried most everything I could find online and here but I still can't get my chapters to show, other than, "Chapter 1 - Chapter 2" etc.
They do show in iTunes when playing the video but not when it's transfered to my iPad.
I tried changing the type to "Music Video" and it shows and plays in my Video app under Music Videos....but there it doesn't show any chapters at all.
Any ideas?

Where are you looking on your iPad for the shows? In iTunes? If so, look under Videos.

On the iPad you bought is running on iOS 5.o , 5.1 or 5.1.1
if both of the iPads are on 5.x.x then try using the same id on both iPads and go in setting on your daughters iPad then scroll down to app store
tap it
sign out the other id and put the same id as yours in the feild and turn on the apps download and books download also try staying near wifi (both the iPADS)
then delete your magazine on the iPad you just downloaded and try downloading it again so icloud can transfer it to the other iPad as the accounts will be same and the music app and book store will be enabled.....for some further assisstance reply

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.

If it's music purchased from iTunes then you should be able to copy it over to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. If it's music that you purchased from elsewhere and/or copied from CDs and you don't have it elsewhere then there are some programs listed half-way down this page that should be able to copy them back : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

Not directly no. However if they have an enabled app or an enabled website and you have an iPod/iPhone/iPad, you could use Airplay to stream them to the Apple TV.
Note though, not many that provide content on a computer via the web want you to be able to watch it in comfort on a TV, so there isn't all that many providers that enable Airplay.

Is there an iPhone involved ?
If not, what happens if you remove the Apple ID on the iPad and then set it in Airplane Mode (allow a couple of minutes at this point) followed by re-adding the Apple ID ?
What, if any error messages are appearing on the Mac when you try to launch the App or Login to the iMessages server ?
Is the Apple ID linked to an iCloud account ?
In Messages 7 (Mountain Lion) this did not seem to be important but it seems it is in Mavericks/Messages 8

Thank you for your reply Domingo. Your suggestion worked as far as sending me a link to buy the book at iTunes. But it did not allow me to download the book from my wife's account. I did finally get an answer from Apple. It took an entire day of emailing back and forth and the final answer was relatively easy once Apple finally decided to give up the solution. Basically, you have to open ibooks and sign out. Then you have to sign into ibooks using the book purchaser's Apple ID and password. Then you can download the book onto your device. Not too bad, huh? It only took a whole day of Apple people sending me wrong instructions before they figured it out. Geez. What a disappointing experience.

Already tried another USB port, still nothing.
I don't have another PC to check, I only have one which is the one not working with my iPod.
It appears under my Computer, just not under iTunes. Plus, the iPod classic troubleshooting assistant doesn't work because I can't restore since it can't come up onto my iTunes! Even my iPod says "Use iTunes to Restore" once in a while, but I plug it in & I'm not able to restore it since it won't come up under iTunes.

Are you using the charger that came with the iPad? Admittedly the labeling is hard to read but, if you use a magnifier and squint your eyes, you'll see "Output 5.1V, 2.1A." The symbol between volts and amps is the symbol for DC. Do NOT use an iPhone charger. Do NOT use an iPod charger.
If you are using the correct charger, you may well have either a charger problem or a battery problem and you need to contact Apple. 800-275-2273 in the U.S.A. and I think Canada.
