Can't get CS6 standard box version to activate after cancelling CC
I cancelled my CC subscription, it expired on June 6. I bought the design standard on disc. I used the uninstall on the old versions that were cloud based and installed the CS6 boxed version (I bought standard--the Photoshop was not the same, so I decided to install all with the boxed versions).
Now when I try to start the Creative suite apps, they ask me to renew the CC subscription.
I already talked to a rep last week. Did not help, just as I was being helped "the team is offline right now..."
Then talked to another rep a few minutes ago. I was told to uninstall ALL the CC versions of apps. I did that. It still does not work.
Is there a preference I need to delete? I am on Mac OSX 10.6.8.
Well, you would have had to deactivate the CC apps as well... Now you can only try to delete the SLStore and PCD stuff to enforce a new activation:

Backup with iTunes. If iTunes is asking you if you want to backup, say yes to that and it will backup your iPad. Have you ever synced with this computer before?
My boilerplate response for anyone that wants to update the iOS.
What you should do anytime that you update the device is to transfer purchases from the iPad into iTunes - File>Transfer Purchases - and you should backup the iPad as well. When you update the update the device, if something goes wrong, you can restore from the backup.
However, iTunes should ask if you want to backup before you update, but just in case create the backup yourself before you update. The backup contains your app data and settings - along with other items - so make sure you backup first.
If you have any other important files, you may want to transfer them to your computer as well, prior to the update.

How can I get the book box in preferences' general tab to show up so I can start adding books to my ipad? I am running OSX 10.9 and Itunes version 11.1.3(8) 64 bit. I have tried re-installing Maveriks and reinstalling Itunes but the box for books is never there when I click on Preferences' General Tab.

I have CS6 10.0.6 x64 extended on Mac 10.6.8 and Canon 5D mark 111. I can not get CS6 to read my raw files. No new updates available. Any ideas guys?
If you go to Photoshop>About Plug-in and click on the words Camera Raw, what version does it list?
I suspect you still have Camera Raw 7.0
When you go to Help>Updates from within photoshop cs6, it says nothing available? -

I have an Ipod touch updated to last available ios 4.2.1.
How can I get the last compatible versions of the apps?
In the appstore there are only the lat app versions, most of them are incompatible with my device.
I know that previous versions of these apps were compatible with my ipod.
Can all download them someway?

So I'm stuck with my Ipod, which can't be upgraded anymore to higher IOS versions, and with the appstore, that does not offer older versions; versions that have existed and still exist, perhaps in the recycle bin of some users, or somewhere in the appstore servers.
I know, its a policy, just to sell more devices. Will not work with me. I'm not buying more Ipods -
Can't get CS6 pkg to install through Casper Remote
I'm sure this has been talked about in here, but I read through several message boards and it looks like I'm not getting the answer to it, but people are mentioning it in various areas. Forgive me if this is a repeat question.
Can anyone get CS6 to install on to your user machines using Casper Remote? I'm at a 80/20 % install rate.
We're a Macintosh office with everyone one either 10.6 or 10.7. All meeting the spec and system requirements. I'm using JAMF Spftwar, LLC Casper Remote v 8.31.
Here is what happens with us.
You choose the computers to install.
Choose the package to install (CS6)
Casper Remote launches and starts to install.
Looks great. You can see the apps populate in the Application folder. One after another. Then when it gets to about 97% installed, it start to uninstall them one by one. Then closes out and states this...
installer: The install failed (The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.)

Finished.
Any ideas? I have about 100 machines to install on within the next week.Interesting that no one has responded. But now, here in September, I'm seeing the same problem with my CreativeCloud package created with CreativeCloudPackager.

I am trying to utilize a function in SharePoint to permit me to open a library in Explorer mode. The function is available on the Share Point page and when I select the function my IE browser stops working. Unfortunately IE at it's current setup on my system is required for most internal applications. Chrome will not enable most of the functions in the Share Point site so that browser is unusable for my purposes. Upon research the current potential resolution to my problem is to run a 32 bit browser to enable my function. Due to the above mentioned limitations I require a 32 bit version of Firefox but the download only provides a 64 bit version because my system is 64 bit. How can I get a 32 bit version of Firefox?

For what OS as Firefox for Windows from [https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ www.mozilla.org] is only Win32 and will work on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. Firefox for Mac OSX is a combined 32/64 and There are separate 32-bit and 64-bit versions for Linux.
Where are you downloading Firefox to think it is a 64-bit version?
The WOW64 in a browser useragent on Windows means it is a 32-bit application running of 64-bit Windows. -

I've said before, give me a reason to upgrade...64-bits would be a good reason, but the fact that a large number of extensions fail -- (try to install the latest firebug 'swarm' in nightly -- epic fail! (404)...), we not only don't have a swarm for you we've never even heard of you!...
So give me a version of FF-go-nightly, that's equiv to the latest released version, and it might have a chance...
I did get most stuff working -- curious why jar files were renamed to 'ja', they don't seem to be in japanese when I unpacked them... ;-) I found it wasn't a typo...
had a full transparent brower on about blank... a bit weird. but sorta cool...
finally figured out how the menus were messed up and saw howto correct most of the damage, but without spending alot more time fine-tuning, it would be hard to get it back just right.. but after spending a day (~10am-8pm on using Nightly), upgrading/config'ing various extensions....etc.
Anyway, I know I said give me a reason.. to upgrade from 3.6 -- a carrot rather than a stick, but too many problems...come on .. even the version was unlucky to begin with! (13!?) .. (I like 13, really, but thought it was humorous).
So how about 64-bits in something a bit better supported?
Why not 64bit versions of each of the releases?
Finally FF got a bit better perf (a bit worse for more debug on, but better in having enough memory, and using a native instruction set rather than the virtualized 32-bit WOW, that it normally runs on...)...Mozilla has never released a 64-bit version of Firefox for Windows, and the 32-bit versions of Firefox are faster than the Nightly 64-bit version test builds.

Safari Preferences : Can no longer see passwords:
I'm using Safari 6.1, OS 10.8.5. I just went to retrieve a password that I'd forgotten, by going to Safari>Preferences>Passwords. It hasn't ever been changed. I used to be able to click and put my master password in, to enable me to see my passwords.
