Can't get drop down menu to drop down

I am still learning this process and I could use some help. I
know alot of people prefer not to use the spry menu bar in
dreamweaver cs3, but I have already built them using it and I need
some help. What is happening is you can see the down arrow in the
menu and the drop down is in my dreamweaver, so I know I created
them, but when you click on the arrow nothing drops down. The main
part is set to menubaritemsubmenu and then the drop down section is
set to menubarhorizontal and all are set to visible. There has to
be something I am missing in there and I could use some help.

I can’t get my dropdown menu buttons to link to other scenes within the same Flash file. The buttons are unresponsive during playback – as if no code were attached to it. Here’s what I have as my AS2 code on the dropped button that is supposed to link to the "Published" scene/page:

I do get these compile errors:
Scene=published, layer=Buttons, frame=1, Line 1 Statement must appear within on handler

But, I think you are correct about the setInterval Loop. On the home scene I’ve created a movie symbol which is set to call another swf file:
loadMovie("frontSlideshow.swf", _root.movie1);
This frontSlideshow.swf file has the following code in every 10 frames:
this.stop();
pause = function ()
play();
clearInterval(pausei);
pausei = setInterval(pause, 5000);
This will pause the timeframe every 5 seconds before sliding to the next frame so that each image can be viewed. It seems odd that the code from this subclass file would affect the timeframe of the main class/file where the “movie1” symbol is located.

That's weird that these iphones are restored/activated through iTunes. I have a Apple so I have iTunes, yay!! I am guessing that the link that you gave me will tell how to put this iphone into Recovery mode? Now, this old iphone would of been activated on his laptop, which is with him and he is out of state. I have a new Apple, his new iphone would of been activated on our new Apple computer because he was here for Christmas and he didn't bring his laptop with him, or did he bring it with him, I don't remember now.... Now the question is, will I be able to restore his old iphone on my new computer seeing it would of activated on his laptop which is with him out of state. DMA 2100, can't get to settings menu

Having trouble getting a DMA 2100 setup.
After it boots, I get to the welcome screen and I can usually get one or two remote presses before it freezes up.
So typically I can press the down arrow to get to the settings menu, and then I press OK to enter the setting menu and it freezes (no response from any keypresses on remote). Sometime I can get to the settings menu but can't do anything once I'm there.
I have tried the factory reset several times to no avail.
This happens both when I am plugged into the network and also when I am not.
Any ideas on what can be causing this or what else I can try?

Can't get a downloaded menu bar to show up in a Window's user account instance of Firefox other than the administrator account

In Windowx XP, one can create seperate user accounts or "profiles" so that different people can use a computer and have their files and profiles kept seperate or secured from others. The main account is the Administrator account.
My problem is I have non-Firefox toolbars that I have downloaded and installed on the Administrators account Firefox toolbar, but I can not get these to show up in any of the seperate user accounts that I have created.
Is there a way to make these show up? If so, what do I need to do?

Toolbar extensions are installed to the user account / Profile, they're not installed globally. You need to install them separately to each user account / Profile.
If you know your way around in the Windows Explorer file system, you can drop an extension into the program files Firefox\extensions\ folder and the extension will be installed globally - as each Profile is launched. Right-click the installation button for extensions an use Save Link As... to save the extension to local disk.

Can't get to the menu

My iPod mini is currently set for shuffle. I can use the click wheel to pause, skip forward & back -- but I can't get to the Main Menu. Anyone have any ideas?

How can I get a horizontal menu widget to display at 100% width?

I have created a horizontal menu with uniform spacing and have stretched it out to each side. I can't get the red indicator line to show up on the left side, but it does show on the right. No matter what I do, the menu continues to show up short on the right side of my screen in preview mode.
Does anyone know how to do this properly? Has anyone else had issues with it?

There is a new hype going on called AJAX. It is either that, or dumping a lot of information in javascript arrays and reading the information from there when you make selections. I would choose AJAX.

I hope there is a way to have just one menu, the main menu, and to have two buttons on it: one for one chapter, one for the other, not one for playing the whole movie, one for playing individual chapters. Is there a way to do that? Is there a (simple, straightforward, no frills, non-garish, NO MOTION) theme that has that setup or that can be adapter for that use?
(I currently use Brush Strokes and I have to kill the motion every **-***** time, yet varying amounts of motion ALWAYS appear until I slide the motion duration slider all the way to the right (max) and then back all the way to the left (min/0). (Yes, I have saved a version of that theme with no **** motion but it still appears despite that.) I DO NOT WANT ANY MOTION or sound effects if I am going to use any other theme than Brush Strokes. I can kill the motion and sound but I don't want one that has a garish look or has lots of motion initially.)
Is there a way to use the map to eliminate the second-level menu or makeit the main menu? And if there is, would I be able to add/change the main menu buttons to that they start each chapter, not play the whole movie or play individual chapters?

Not so interested in bad language. Struggling to get my own understandable.
To do what I guess You want, only way I can think of is:
- Make each chapter as a stand alone movie
∆ This by: selecting clips in iMovie that belongs to Chapter one
- Export as Full quality QT.mov BUT - remember to mark - selected clips only
- Now select the rest (or Chapter two) and export this
Now You just drop Your Chapter one and two into a new open iDVD theme
window.
To make iDVD to handle both a full movie and specific Chapters alone has
not been implemented in an easy way - but has to be a double material
project. Which is not so economical. Only alternative in my mind is
DVD-Studio Pro - and this hurts even more "economicaly"

I can't get my iPhoto menu window to open up after installing Ofoto Express

I think I am going crazy but I just installed an application from kodakgallery called ofoto express that enables a user to drag and drop photos from iPhoto on a Mac and upload it to kodakgallery. I want to order holiday cards but now that I've installed it and open iPhoto, my menu window does not show up.
Any clue as to what's going on? Thanks in advance.

In the past, we have used Kodak Easy Share Gallery, so I was looking at Ofoto Express, as well, to smooth the upload. However, I DIDN'T install it, because Ofoto is an OLD name for Kodak Easy Share (actually Kodak, purchased Ofoto years ago). So, looking at the system requirements, it was clear to me that Ofoto Express has not been kept up to date (I think it's stated min requirements were OS9, with no mention of OSX?). I would think it may not work. For that reason, and because I hate uninstalling bad software, I simply chose to skip it.

To sum up: I would recommend uninstalling the ofoto app, if it's not working for you, or visit the Kodak support page, and ask them to verify it works on Tiger with iPhoto08. Or, just install the Kodak software from the link above.
Having said that, in my house, we are running a comparison on our new Mac using iPhoto vs. EasyShare, and I think the iPhoto services options are winning the battle! There are a couple of minor benefits of using EasyShare, but iPhoto is overall easier to use. We are waiting for our orders in the mail from both services, to compare quality of both services. If iPhoto meets or exceeds Kodak Share, we are switching.
