Can't get Illustrator to reinstall on my computer

I have Adobe Illustrator CS2 on my computer - computer locked up - I tried to reinstall but Illustrator just says "The application Illustrator has unexpectedly quit." Never had a problem in the past reinstalled any software. Do think its a virus?

If you want to get renewed attention to your unanswered question, it's best not post it all over again. Just write "bump" or ask for continued help in a new post. That way you'll avoid having two threads running simultaneously.
Maybe someone else will come along with a more direct solution, but what I might try to do just as a general rule of thumb in this situation, is first to uninstall Illustrator completely, then re-install it. Adobe CS versions are known to be very fussy, in general, about copying and/or re-installing.
Here are directions for manually uninstalling. They say you need to pay special attention to the possibility of uninstalling components that are used for other Adobe applications.
It's definitely not a virus. There are no OS X viruses out there. And this is not virus like behavior. If you are unable to get help here, you might want to contact Adobe (although their tech support is not known to be exactly marvelous.)
Also, don't delete any files directly. I would use the "Move to trash" option, so you can replace something later if you find you need it.

You will need to do a network recovery:
Install Lion/Mountain Lion on a New HDD/SDD
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your external hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

I can't get Illustrator CC to launch

I can't get Illustrator to launch. It just bounces in the dock. I've also tried launching straight out of the Application folder, the same thing. I also tried updating it through the App Manager, and this hasn't made any difference.

For the Illustrator SDK, Google is your friend: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/illustrator/sdk/
As for VB.Net, I'm afraid you're out of luck. The SDK is all C++ and designed to be platform independent, apart from resources (I write plugins for the Mac). However, there are template projects for VC2005 included in the SDK, just follow the instructions in the accompanying documentation on how to install it.

2. My creative cloud app manager says that Illustrator is installed.
3. I try to download it from Adobe.com and it never initiates the download.

On the BB, when I read an email received using my Windows Live account (@msn.com), which I also use as my default email on my Mac, I was asked if I wanted to delete the message from my phone only, my computer only, or from both. However, I don't often check that account because we use the msn account for the majority of emails and the msn is set up in the computer's mail account. I was told that because it is a pop account there is possibly no way to make them sync that way. I wonder if anyone else has run across this issue and if there is any solution at all? Is it possible to set up an msn.com account using imap on my computer?

Perhaps you should try using "shared photo stream", if the other phone can view the stream?

If you can't answer the questions, then you leave us to pretty much guess at what could be wrong. Are you sure you don't know what PC OS you are running?

But, let me continue to try again...can you tell me the steps you attempt? And the results of each step? After all, you say you "can't get bb curve to connect to computer"...so, you must have tried something. What did you try? What happened with each step along the way of what you tried?
If you can't participate in providing information, free support such as this will be pretty useless to you...fee-based support would be your next step, I'd think. If someone get's paid to help you, they might have tools available that the volunteers here don't have.
