Can,t get into store to get anything
i've downloaded an removed i-tunes 7, more than a dozen times,and after completing the install without any problems..it will not let in to get music. it does nothing but take up space .what do i need to do ,i've written to "support"..no replies.this should be easy to fix,just don't know where to start.i don't think its on my end. help.i'm not having problems with any other software or programs.
You have to log into your amazon.com account in a browser in order to purchase and download content. The ability to purchase and download within the Kindle app itself went away quite some time ago.
You can use Safari on the iPad to go to amazon.com.

Did you go into iTunes to change the location of your media files? if not you will need to go into iTunes and click on preference and select the advance tab then click the iTunes Media folder location. Select the location of your on external hard drive.

I cannot activatea second hand iphone 4s as i don't have previous owners itunes ID. I can't get anything on the phone after setting the language as its asking for activation. Please can anyone help ???? Ideally i would like to get it back to factory settings and start afresh but right now i would settle for anything. Should say i only have the phone and charger, no box so no details
Unfortunately, the only one who can help is the previous owner. Otherwise you will not be able to activate and use the phone. Apple can't/won't help you with this either.

Updated to 3.6.15 and now I can't get anything java to run
Ever since I updated to v. 3.6.15 (from 3.6.13, never ud'd to .14) I can't get anything that uses java to load. I just get a white screen and nothing else. This seems to be exactly what happened to people when they ud'd to .14, and the fix is suppose to be .15, but that's what hosed my java!
I have uninstalled and gone back to .13, and I've reinstalled java. I even updated again to .15 and nothing is fixing it.
When I uninstalled I left all my fav's and info in my folder.
My OS is XP home. And I can get java to work via IE.
Please help! I wan't my Firefox back!I have the exact same problem. I updated to 3.6.12 and encountered the "blank page" printing problem. I ended up re installing Firefox 3.0.19. Printing works great. Also Firefox 3.5.15 gave the same blank page printing problem. I also installed "Better privacy" and " Ghostery"at the time of updates. These programs do not run under the 3.0.19 version. Not sure if if they are related to the problem. Good luck and hope a solution to the problem comes about.

Can't get anything at all to open in CS6
I can't get anything at all to open in CS6 (on a Mac OS X 10) and can't create `new. Yesterday it was working perfectly.

You can download the updates for ID cs6 from HERE
It can be a simple problem of corrupt preferences which you can eliminate by launching the application while keeping the Shift+Control+Option+Command keys. You will see a dialog box on launch stating do you want to reset the preferences, just go ahead and press yes and then see if you are facing the same problem.

Had to replace our Airport Extreme (802.11n) and now can't get anything but flashing amber light. Have gone the route of turning off modem (overnight), restarting everything this morning and at least when I turned on the laptop (no desktop) the Airport Utility opened automatically. I put in the info for the Airport Extreme that we had previously (password, etc) but it couldn't connect (said error occurred). I would assume this is because of the flashing amber light?
I am having a similar issue. However I've had my airport express for over 3 years. Yesterday we had to reset the router as it wasn't broadcasting.
Today having same issue so we reset the router again. And now still blinking amber. When I go to the Airport Utility I can't even go to the Manual Setup as I'm getting the Error 4. Internet works fine as the router and modem are hooked up to my computer via Ethernet cable.
I did a factory reset and the AE is broadcasting again. but I can't get in to protect the network. And it's still blinking amber.
Any thoughts would be great. -
I am looking for help. I have been trying to get my iPads and I phones to sync a calendar to all the devices. I can't get anything to work. I am completely frustrated. I have been working for hours and getting no where. I have 2 iPads and 2 phones. Can someone please point me in the right direction.
Thank YouClick (or touch) the "Calendars" icon in the upper left corner. You should see something similar to this:
"ICLOUD" should be the only calendar set indicated on each device (otherwise, you'll get double entries). -
My MacBook has crashed...it started with capitals letters sticking and always starting in safe mode and now despite efforts to restore from my Lacie externall drive I can't get anything on screen except a grey "stop" sign

My screen is totally blank except for the screen saver and messages that pop up from Macguard. In trying to remove software, I don't know what I did. I have unplugged my imac because I can't even log out. I can't choose any icons to for software or preferences, anything. How can I get these back so I can delete this garbage on my system? Help! Can't get anything to play!
I downloaded iTunes today and then downloaded some podcasts and imported songs from a cd. I can't get any of them to play! When I double click on the title, it pops up in the window above, but will not start. Any suggestions?

TaraI just made a copy of my iTunes Music folder onto my desktop. Than deleted all my songs from my library, but not to the recycle bin. I left them in the folder but out of the library.
Than I re-imported them into my library.
so this guy from my local appleshop told me that ...

So, ok, maybe we have to uninstall iTunes and then reinstall it and then importing our copied music file again.

Artist spent alot and can not get anything to work
I thought it would be strait forward; but it is more like a backwards tango!
OK, I can't get the media once down loaded from my cam to load into final cut.
I have a JVC GZ-HD7U that records in Mpeg2 and when I down load from the cam to my desk it reads Mov00?.TOD. When I import this to Final it reads " unknown file format ( I may be off on the wordage;I am bit madddd at the moment)
Maybe there is some one out there using the same set up as me? What would be cool, is you have a easy answer.
My new MacBookpro has Quicktime and Jvc I did their thing to this plus Final cut offered a down load of it. You would think after all this and how much I have spent I could take over the world with this program; but oh no, I even tried ctrl clicking the media I downloaded in Quicktime (the only place I could view it but do nothing with it) and saved it as a QT movie.
Then after converting it to quick time media; but no where near the 3.6 GB I downloaded, Did it load into final cut. Then once there no image, nothing, zip, nota, ssooooo confused.!!!
I have watched the dvd tutorial and read the pdf etc. Still lost
If any one can help or direct me in there right direction, I would be relatively thank for a long time!!
Why doesn't final cut load and read TOD or work with QT from it. What a waist. I am not any where near Rich and could return this all now due to the way I feel and i am in my 30 day period with it all.....a darn shame
HelpUnfortunately, Ian is correct. Your options at this point are
1) return the camera for a tape-based one (best option if you can)
2) search the discussions at length to see if anyone else has found a workaround
3) buy iLife 08 and use iMovie to import your clips, then transfer them from iMovie to FCE. iMovie 08 has the ability to capture off card-based cameras. -
Computer has crash,need someone t help-. can't get anything on screen
My computer went out Friday, telling me it is due to firefox crashing. I can get absolutely nothing on my screen. I need my computer for work as well as personal, I need it restored yesterday. As for sorting out the computer problems, that is not really on topic for this site, and what you need to do will depend on your OS. You may have safe mode type startup options on the computer. -

I believe I have Apple TV installed, but with no functionality. Was able to select a TV show but with voice from another show--couldn't ever get rid of that voice or do any volume changes. I have sharing set in itunes but can't get any music. Can't access any streaming from laptop, iPad, or desktop--all on same network.
In a roaming network, your "main" router is the device that would require port mapping/forwarding to be configured in order to access the IP camera from the Internet. This router is also the one that would be provide the private IP address for the camera which you will want to be a static one.
So as you described your network, the IP cameras should be getting an IP address or you assigned it a static one and this is the address that you would enter in the Private IP address (or equivalent depending on the router used) field when setting up port mapping.
If you are not able to access this camera from the local network, then this should be troubleshot first. -
I updated to IOS 5 tonight on my ipod touch 4th gen and now it won't restore. I can't get it to restore from a backup either. It either says "iTunes could not restore the iPod "____" because the backup session failed or i get error -50. It appears all of my songs and apps are in iTunes, but I guess I don't know where to go from here to get things back to how I had them before. Is there a way to access an early backup to try that? or am I going down the wrong path? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
don't ask me why this worked, but it did for me last night. In iTunes, where your device shows up on the left side, I double clicked on it. It then allows you to change the name like you can for changing file/folder names. I changed 1 letter on the name of the ipod and hit enter. I then right clicked on the new ipod name and chose restore from backup. My choices for backup was the original name of the ipod only and not the name i had just changed it to. I told it to go ahead and backup from the old name figuring I would get the same results, but not the case. It restored it with all app, music and pictures with one exception...all of the settings, email setup and information within the apps was lost. Atleast that an easier fix than starting all over. Hope this will work for you guys too with the same issue.
