Can't get list of values for some picklists

I think any field that has data tye Picklist (read-only) in Opportunity Field setup, does not allow to get PicklistValues.
How else are we supposed to get a list of possible SalesStages through the API?!
Here is a generic code (c#) I am running using mapping/picklist wsdl to get all Picklist fields on Opportunity and get list of their values. Some work just fine and other reutrn exception that the field is not a pick list (and those are ones marked as Picklist(read-only) ). Any help is appreciated. Sorry if formatting gets messed up.

OK, we just ran into this issue as well. Sales Stage is, in fact, a "Picklist" (as revealed by your own metadata API), its values can change and as such its items should be made available via the API. Hard-coding is a hack, pure and simple. I suspect this is not the only picklist that the services fails on; Is there a document anywhere that indicates which picklists do not have items available via the service API?

    I see some that there are values for preferences in firefox.cs but I am not certain that these are being used as the default values for preferences. prefs.js in user's profile only has the updated values and not the default values.

    Here when you have the callableSattement as ?=proc(?), the first ? is an output parameter. So you should register it as out parameter using registeroutparameter.
    Then you can get the value from the outparameter using callablestatement.getXXX().

I was not aware that this is not supported by Web Services SDK.</p><p>We used Web Services SDK to integrated the Crystal Reports in our web application. We implemented some basic actions for reports: schedule, view instances, run ad-hoc reports.</p><p>We encountered this problem when trying to run/schedule reports with dynamic parameters (a list of values from DB).     The voicemail system used for the iPhone is different from the voicemail system used on the rest of the Verizon Wireless network.     Only Apple Account Security could help at this point. You can try calling Apple Support in Canada - you'll have to find one of the several ways, such as Skype, to call an 800 number from outside of the relevant country - and ask for Account Security and see if they can help. Or you can find a friend who speaks Chinese and ask them to help you talk to Apple Support in China. There are really no other options that I know of.
    Note, by the way, that these are user-to-user support forums. You aren't speaking with Apple when you post here.

    respond”.
    From the error message “The collection has not been initialized”, which suggests that the object in use hadn’t been initialized after the execution of the executeQueryAsync method.
    I suggest you debug the code in browser to see which line of code will throw this error, then you can reorganize the logic of the code to avoid using the uninitialized object.

  • How to get item field values for old versions?

    I need to be able to query old field values from previous versions of items in a SharePoint list. I can't execute code on the server (it needs to work with SharePoint Online/O365 for a start).
    So far the ONLY API I've that lets me do this is the lists.asmx GetVersionCollection SOAP call.
    This lets me specify a single field name and returns an XML structure with the values for the various versions, along with the modification time and who made the change - but NO reliable way of actually identifying *which* version (i.e. an ID or label). That
    is, if I know I need to fetch the Title value from version 512 ("1.0") of item 1 in list "Documents", I don't see how to reliably parse the results to determine which entry is version 512. While they may be returned in order, in many cases
    the entries are actually missing when there was no field value present (or perhaps when the field hadn't been created yet). I've tried comparing the Modified date to the Created date of the corresponding FileVersion item (which I can get via CSOM or REST),
    and while it works some of the time, it's not reliable. I've also looked at the output from the lists.asmx GetVersion API but I don't see how that's useful either, as the Created property for all versions always seems to be just the date the file was originally
    created.
    It does seem odd to me that there's not a neat way of doing this - if I need to return information for several fields but just for a single version, I have to make a whole lot of requests that return far more info than I need, and then I need to figure out
    how to parse the returned text in the case of, say, multiple-value taxonomy fields etc.
    Anyone tried doing anything similar here?

    Where can you get a power cord for a 2012 airport express or the equivalent? I couldn't find one in the online store.

    I'm sure the OP found his solution, but I wanted to share mine in case it helps some future seeker.
    There are a lot of brand new cords on eBay for less than $10 including shipping, which is way cheaper than the $39 stereo connector kit or an AC adapter from a retailer.  I just bought a used-like-new one for $5.50.
    The cord is made by Volex, part number APC7Q.  The Apple part number is M9573LL/A.  If the seller got it from the stereo adapter kit, they'll probably list it under MD836LL/A, which is the kit's part number.  I got the best search results on eBay using just the Volex part number.

    Trouble is appl no longer sells it, you have to search eBay & such for the full retail version, not any grey Install Disc.

    Most that I have looked into, show any battery "out of stock" &/or listed "used."
    A good electronics shop with an understanding of how these batteries are wired

    inside the case; however opening these may present a problem if done forcefully.
