Can't get motion Tween to work - just upgraded from a previous version to CS4
I am attempting to create a motion tween between two keyframes. The image is the same...the first keyframe has the image set to an alpha of 0 and the second keyframe some 20 frames down the timeline is set to an alpha of 100%. The keyframes are on the same layer. The image has been transformed to a symbol. Yet when I double click between the two keyframes and create the motion tween so the image will fade from 0 to full view at 100% nothing happens. I don't see the familiar arrow that normally indicates a motion tween between the two keyframes. I've created this transformation a thousand times before but don't understand what is different in CS4 that isn't creating the tween. When I double click on a frame in between the two keyframes it indicates I can remove motion tween so, it makes me believe the motion tweening has been set but, it isn't.
I am quite frustrated and don't understand if I haven't set something in the preferences so the tweening will work or just what is going on.

I get the following error message: Gone The requested resource / is no longer available on this server and there is no forwarding address. Please remove all references to this resource. Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

I am using lightroom 5 and would like to upgrade to lightroom 6. I am not interested in the subscription based craetive cloud model. The website keeps pushing me to the subscription based model. Can someone guide me on how to just upgrade from 5 to 6 (desktop version and not the cloud subscription version)?

I can't get my bluetooth to work after upgrading my iphone 4 to ios 6
After I upgraded my iphone 4 to IOS 6, i can't get any of my bluetooth connections to work. Both my headset and my car are not recognized. I validated that Bluetooth is on in the configuration, but it just keeps searching for devices and never recognizes them. Is there a setting I'm missing?
What does the manual say on the wireless speaker on how to connect to other devices?

Can I get single line plan after just upgrading?
I just upgraded to a smartphone plan with a renewed 2 yr contract from a basic plan, but now I see the Single Line Plan for smartphones. Is it possible to change plans since I renewed my contract?

The site I connect to is my citrix account at work, which needs a certificate. I could connect with the previous version of Firefox (3.6). When I upgraded the browser I got the errors mentioned earlier. I changed the setting for the specific setting from false to true. I still unable to connect and got a different error. If you used the option to delete settings, or whatever it is worded when uninstalling, Firefox will remove all your important data information from profiles for all installed versions of Firefox, and you will then need luck and a file recovery utility to try to restore the information.
You mentioned files being moved to Trash, I was hoping you may still have the required original files. I use Windows XP, and I realise Macs use different locations for files, but I think the files have the same names.

Note the last article discusses problems when bookmarks are lost, and some of the possible reasons and solutions. Obviously I do not know what has actually happened in your case, and whether or not you used the delete option I initially mentioned. -
Can't get iPhoto '09 to work since reverting from iPhoto '11
Ok, I have read and re-read what seem like hundreds of posts (mostly from late 2010) but cannot find an answer to this.
I had iPhoto '09 on my computer when I bought it in October, and the "free upgrade disc" for '11 was given to me, but I had never got around to swapping them out. (lucky me) Recently, I decided to do the upgrade because I heard that iMovie had better audio balancing capabilities. I had not heard anything about the iPhoto issues, I was 100% happy with iPhoto '09 but did not see a way to only install the iMovie so I put everything in. As with other people, I had problems, and decided to revert to iPhoto '09, thinking this would be best & easiest step, (and since I had ordered the original install disc for '09, it should have been easy.)
First of all, I made a grave error on my TM back up prior to the install. (this may be moot, but I will mention it so you don't simply tell me to use TM back up) I was doing a back up but had to leave so I figured I'd make room on my disc by deleting a couple of the "in the middle" back ups that were just the hourly or daily ones from some point. I dragged them into the trash not knowing (and getting no warning) that this was a huge mistake. (This is my first mac since the 80's.)
So now I can't "enter TM" although I can look on the drive and see that the files are there. I was able to empty the trash easily enough, but so far as I can tell TM as a restorative option is a bust.
I installed iLife 11 suite BEFORE I realized this, unfortunately. Once I realized that I wanted to go back to iPhoto 09, I got "AppZapper" and used that to delete just the iPhoto App & related components thereby keeping the rest of the iLife 11 on my computer. I had already (luckily) copied the old iPhoto library (prior to the upgrade) to a separate external HD for other reasons, so I do have the "untainted, unchanged" version of my photos, plus the same version that would be available via my TM back up if I could get to it.
I "re-installed" iPhoto -09, but when I clicked on the icon, it gives me the following message: You can't open your current photo library with this version of iPhoto. You have made changes to your iPhoto library using a newer version of iPhoto, please reinstall, etc.
So I created a new iPhoto folder and am about to transfer photos in manually. My question is: if the computer thought my old iPhoto library was adjusted, is there some way that iLife11 could have changed those photos? OR if I have to check to make sure I am pulling the right photos back into '09, how can I do that and what do I look for? When I was deleting the "new" old library (iLife 11 version) I thought I had better save a copy of it just in case, so I copied it to the same external disc as my original iPhoto 09 backup & renamed it. However when I returned to get the old (iLife 09 version) library, the v.11 one (under my rename) was not there, and there were other odd files like Library6.iphoto and Library.iphoto ??
Finally, if you have any ideas on how I can get time machine back, that would be much appreciated. I tried the repair back ups sequence and got no results, maybe this has to do with permissions. I have more to research before attempting to fix that.To update the info I wrote, apparently I DID save the "iLife 11" photos to a separate disc, so the untainted album "iPhoto.old" from my other back up drive is supposed to be those iLife 09 photos (pre upgrade)
However, when I open iPhoto 09 (newly reloaded) I cannot figure out how to get those photos into my app. When I try to launch the library, it says it has to re-launch the application, and in doing so, gives me the error message about using a newer version of iPhoto, etc.

Can't get the proxy authentication work over SSL from weblogic 8.1
I'm trying to make a HTTPS connection through proxy server, and I get a 407 proxy authentication exception. I can succesfully connect from a stand-alone program, but I can't do it from a web application deployed on weblogic 8.1.
I implemented weblogic.common.ProxyAuthenticator, and here's my implementation methods-

Can't get personal themes to work in upgraded Keynote
I've upgraded both OS X to Lion and Keynote '09 to 5.1. Yes, I know I should have waited but they looked so cool. Now, I not only get the interminable spinning beachball delays there's been so much posting about, but also, Keynote doesn't seem to want to recognise my themes in Theme Chooser. A bit of a pain since I had several set up for my different clients. Any ideas, anyone?

I did exactly that, and the only trouble I had was that some of my older brushes no longer worked. When I moved from CS3 to CS 4 it was in both formats, and I literally use the same brushes, custom shapes, gradients, and actions in OS X and Windows Vista. The only difference between the two is that on the Mac, my brush list (about 900 or so) loads in a single scrolable column. In Windows, it loads in row after row until it runs out of screen about the time it gets to the M's and I have to manually load anything beyond that. Which is why I prefer to do my photoshopping on the Mac. -

After upgrading to Lion can't get Boot Camp to work! Just get "The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition". Anytone?
This message, and threads like yours got asked daily for over two years, now it is only a couple times a week!!
Is it so hard to follow through? you were to have backup already, clones are best, then erase/format and restore.
Then partition.
Some have been able to use Disk Utility booted from OS X DVD or another drive, and repair the drive.
You have to use Boot Camp Assistant (99.9% anyway) to create and achieve a proper Windows Master Boot Record partition. -
I have just come back from morocco where my phone worked ok using the morroco network, but since returning to the uk I can't get it to pick up a signal from the 'Three' network, have tried resetting etc but still wont work, any suggestions

Quit Safari, find the com.apple.Safari.plist file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder, drag it to the Desktop, log out/in or restart and let us know what happens.

Check you are logged into your store account properly (settings > store). Also check there are no restrictions set that might be causing this (settings > general > restrictions)
