Can't get msn or hotmail with firefox but can with explorer,always used firefox before-what's up?

started in safe mode but still can not get msn or my hotmail, just comes up with a blank page.Removed all cookies and cache and all add-ons are off. Removed foxfire and reinstalled to no avail. Have done everything all can think of but no way it will work yet if I go to Explorers the damn thing works.Any ideas?????

Sorry you are having problems.
Both sites work ok for me using Firefox. That comment may not make you feel good but along with the fact that both sites work for you on IE it does tend to point to something rather specific on your computer affecting firefox.
I do notice quite a few questions recently about this. In many cases clearing the cache or just a Ctrl+F5 reload will help, along with clearing the cookies for that site.

Something you should try as an elimination step is booting with the F8 key into Windows Safe Mode with network support

You are on Windows 2000, you do not have a "Firefox" button, and should consider yourself to be fortunate in that you still have menus and don't have to do anything to get the menus back instead of the "Firefox" button. (The same applies to Windows XP users).
Use the "File" menu to get to Import. You are not on Windows 7 or Vista, and don't have to put up with the nonsense added for Aero.
If you want the "Firefox" button you can get it with View -> toolbars -> (uncheck) Menu Bar. The menu bar and the "Firefox" button were supposed to be mutually exclusive (which is impossible in some cases without being incompatible).
Once you are using the "Firefox" button ...
Use the "Alt" key to view the menu bar (temporarily) containing File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, and Help. On Windows 7 and Vista, the menu bar was hidden by default in Firefox 4 and above. These menu items are more or less available under the "Firefox" button which has the most used of the built-in Firefox menu items available in a different format.
To get back to having menus again. "Firefox" button -> Options (second column) -> (check) Menu Bar

I can't answer to all your questions, however I can tell you that:
2) The directory where to put the report file is specifiend in a file named
<serverName>.conf
in the sourceDire property
<property name="sourceDir" value="/directory/dove/mettere/i/report"/>
that you can find under ORACLE_HOME/reports/conf
3) The URL is
http://<server IAS address>:<port number>/<jsp file path>/<repName>.jsp?server=<report server name>&userid=<user>/<pwd>@<DB conn string>[&<param>=<valore>[&...]]
5) In IE you have only to set the previous URL in the address bar.

I assume that you mean your new iPad - the 3rd generation model. No - that is not normal. Some users have reported this issue and it may be that you have a faulty device.
It may get a little warmer than the previous models of iPads but it should not get "very hot" under any circumstances. Return it - take it to an Apple Store and let a Genius have a look - contact Apple however you need to do so - and let them know about it - but that is NOT normal.

When I use Firefox and Hotmail at startup, Firefox freezes for about 1 minute, and then I can continue. First I though it was my computer but 2 other girls in my class have the same problem with Hotmail and Firefox. What can I do to change this?

When I start Firefox, about 15 seconds after I start it, my Firefox freezes for about 1 minute. I found out that it is my Hotmail that makes Firefox freeze.
First I thought it was my computer, but I have 2 other girls in my class that use Hotmail and Firefox and their computer also freezes for 1 full minute.
This is very annoying, what can I do to change this?

I downloaded the new version of firefox and now when I try to log on nothing happens its like it doesn't reconize the mouse click. I can get on the internet with explorer but no longer with firefox??

I have the shortcuts on my browser to the sites that I go to frequently. It's when I press those buttons (which have always worked before and I checked their URLs) it takes me to the Yahoo Page not Found page. But then when I click the shortcut button again, it usually works.

When I try to open firefox, I get a message that says, "firefox is already running" and to close it or restart my computer when it is NOT running, so I can't get on the internet through firefox. What is wrong?

The information box pops up when I click on my desktop icon for firefox as well as if I try to access it in other ways. I have restarted my computer. I have tried removing firefox and redownloading it. No matter what I do, it still gives me a box saying it is already running, but not responding. When I pull up my taks bar, it is not running! I can't close it as the box suggests because it is not open to do it. I just keep getting a box saying it is already running no matter what I try to do, even though it is not running.

I have tried everything I could to fix this, but some things require actually being on Firefox, and since I cannot get on, I cannot click on the tabs to do it. I have even totally uninstalled firefox, and that has not fixed this. I still get the same message that firefox is running and I need to close it or restart (which I have also tried dozens of times). I have removed things like Java, and that has not helped either. If I cannot even get on line in firefox, how can I fix this. I am not crazy about using internet explorer, but right now, it is my only option. I even tried to start in safe mode, and the same message box pops up!

In that document I found this:
"The error probably indicates that you are using a older version of the Connector/J JDBC driver (2.0.14 or 3.0.x) and you are trying to connect to a MySQL server with version 4.1x or newer. The older drivers are not compatible with 4.1 or newer of MySQL as they do not support the newer authentication mechanisms.
It is likely that the older version of the Connector/J driver exists within your application directory or your CLASSPATH includes the older Connector/J package.
Also, the word 'NonRegisteringDriver' above indicates your JDBC (which is a driver_ is a non registering type.
I suggest you hit the MySql home page and see if you can download a newer driver.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

They are free to iOS 7 users who have activated their NEW device on Sept 1 2013 or after. They are NOT automatically free with iOS 7.
AirDrop is only compatible with iPad 4th gen and iPad mini. iPad 3rd gen and below do contain the necessary hardware for AirDrop. Also, AirDrop is only compatible between iOS devices. You cannot AirDrop between iOS device and Mac OS.

I can get risetime measurements from pulse Vi but falltime data is always 0

I am feeding a waveform from an AI read into 2 seperate transition measurement VI's. the only difference between the 2 is that one is set for rising and the other is set for falling. The output of the rising works just fine however the output of the falling VI is always zero. The falltime is not 0.
any suggestions on why this is occuring?

There's no one solution for Unknown Errors. You'll have to experiment with different things, hoping to stumble upon something that works.

Can fieldpoint explorer be used to control a fp-di-301 module?

Hi, Just wondering if fieldpoint explorer can be configured so it can turn on/off fp-di-301 or one specific channel. Presently, we want to test our hardware (ie on/off switch for a pump), but do not have a working labview program. I'm just starting to play around with the fieldpoint explorer software and hardware we have on hand. I'm still searching NI's database. So far it sounds like we have to write a labview program with controls, to function as an on/off switch and not fieldpoint explorer.
Thanks for any advice/info that can put me on the right track. So much to learn, so little time.

With FP Explorer, click on the channel you want to change, right click and you can set the value.
Make sure you press the green arrow at the top of the screen first.

If your friend is the iPhone’s original owner, tell them to take the device and its original purchase receipt to a physical Apple Store.
If not, but you're able to contact the person who set the lock, send them this link and tell them to follow its instructions.
If neither of the above applies, you can't activate the device but may be able to get it refunded. Apple won't remove the lock for anyone other than the original owner(assuming they're alive.)
