Can't get music from Itunes to Iphone

Using Windows xp have updated Itunes to 9.2.1(reinstalled a couple of times) and updated Iphone to IOS4. Synch and backup works until Music then Itunes hangs and is non-reponding. Also have Itunes 9.2.1 loaded on wife's XPpc and am able to get Music downloads. Any ideas?

Note that you will need iTunes 10.7 or later on your computer to be able to sync an iPhone 5.

Ok, so I transferred this CD to iTunes and I'm trying to drag and drop it onto my iPhone but I get a symbol showing that I can't do that. I then tried to check the box under iPhone that says "Manually manage music and videos" but then get a notification saying an iPhone can only be synced with one iTunes library at a time and to manually manage the music and videos I have to erase all content on my iPhone and sync with this iTunes library. The problem is, my original iTunes library has been lost due to a hard drive crash. Furthermore, when I try to transfer purchases from my iPhone to the new library around 200 of the songs show up with incorrect information (they show the track number and song title with no album or artist info. For example, a song titled Memory Lane that is the first song on the album shows up as 01 Memory Lane with no artist and no album.) Any ideas on what I should do?

iphone will sync with one computer. When you sync to another, it will erase the content from the iphone and replace with content from the new computer, this is true of manually managing music as well.
Since you are trying to drag and drop, do yo have manually manage music checked?

All music on your old iPhone should be in your iTunes library on your computer and can be transferred to your new iPhone in the same way - via the iTunes sync process.

Photos/videos in your old iPhone's Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. After being imported by your computer, they can be transferred to your new iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process.

If you're referring to wi-fi sync with iTunes, yes you can sync music or anything else you'd normally sync using the USB cable. Your iPhone needs to have the wi-fi sync option set (via iTunes, on the device's summary page), it must be on the same network as your iTunes library, de-select the iTunes option preventing auto-sync, and iTunes needs to be up and running of course.
To manually initiate the wi-fi sync you don't need external power applied to your iPhone (unless your battery is low). If you want this sync to occur automatically there are additional requirements (external power on the iPhone, and it seems you need the option "Automatically open iTunes when this device is connected" selected).

Can't put music from iTunes onto iPhone 3G

When I try and drag songs or playlists from iTunes on my computer to my iPhone I just get an icon with circle with a diagonal line through it. I have no problem syncing with my iPods.

I found this problem, I had to create a new playlist on iTunes, drag everything into that and then drag the playlist to the iPhone. It's a pain but the only way I managed to get it to work.

Can't copy music from iTunes to iPhone

"iTunes cannot add any songs to the iPhone because it already contains all the songs in your iTunes library". I don't have ant music in my iphone, becouse i erased it to make more photos in my vacation. Now i have the memory required, but it doesn't copy.
When i hit autofil, this is what i get .. don't know what to do.
I tried to drag them manually in the "music" part of the iPhone, but doesn't work either

I saw that if u put new tracks in my "music" folder in iTunes, and try to copy them to my iPhone only the new tracks are being copied.
And i don't get the "iTunes cannot add any songs to the iPhone because it already contains all the songs in your iTunes library" message
So i changed all my tracks number ( select all -> right click -> get info and change something that's not so importing for all of them )
After that, they are diferent so my itunes is copying them to my iPhone.
Well, this it's not a christian way to solve this, but it's working.
If anyone has better ideas..
PS: my USB cable it's damaged ( it's not making the contact with my iPhone very good, so i'm afraid to re-instal my IOS until i buy a new cable )

How can I get music from iTunes of US in Mexico?

I like Rock, Blues, Jazz and all this kind of music. But iTunes in Mexico has limited range of this artists, I mean, there's no all discography (albums), and I would like to download all of them.
Is there some way to create a US session in Mexio of iTunes or something like that to get that music?

So I had an iPhone 3gs and I had all of my music on there. it slowly started breaking until the point where I was forced to buy the iPhone 4. So before the 3gs died I never had a chance to sync it with itunes. Now I am syncing the 4 with itunes on my new computer and I was wondering if the music would come back into that library so the it will be on my 4?

Can't add music from itunes to iphone 4

Just got a new computer, downloaded itunes 11 and registed my itunes account with my new device (allowed or whatever). Now I just got some new CDs and itunes 11 wont let me drag and add to my flipping iphone!

Stop shouting, it simply does not help your cause or make others want to assist you.
Has the content been moved from the old computer to the new computer? If not, copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.
iPhones are designed to sync to one and only one computer, attempts to sync to a second computer will cause iTunes to want to wipe the device. It can also prevent the user from manually managing content on multiple computers.

Can't Drag Music From iTunes to iPhone 5

Last night I updated iTunes to the latest version as well as updating my iPhone.
I rarely add music to my phone via iTunes as it is always an ordeal, but I had a couple of albums I wanted to add last night as I am going away tomorrow.
I am unable to drag them across. I've tried several suggestions but none of them work.
I have iTunes Match, and the albums I want to put on my phone are not on the iTunes store. Could this be the issue? I tried turning it off on both the laptop and the phone, but still no luck!
All of the songs had a small, dotted cloud next to them. I'm not sure what that means but it was there before I tried copying them to the phone.
Any help would be appreciated!

Got a new iPhone 5 .. Trying to sync with my iTunes ..it shows it as syncing the music and how much space it will take ,,,goes through the syncing motion but then there is no music on my phone ....any ideas ??????

I'm using my USB cord, do I have to take out my SD card and add it that way? new droid x user, not really loving it like i thought i would

I apologize for inputting the wrong name. It is easy phone tunes. The videos I have are divx copies of full lenght feature films that I addedbto the itunes app and automatically got added to my phone when I ran the easy tunes program. Torrents I guess you would call them. Lol. I have never paid for a song. I would use music wizard and transfer them to my pc and add them to itunes as well. I have been adding tunes to my itunes account this way for the better part of a year. The easy tunes app just made it easy to add them to my phone which I just discovered the app over the past weekend. I did try double twist but it was clunky and not as easy to work with. I didn't realize that my divx movies would be added until after they were added and I only stumbled upon them as they were placed into the gallery folder on the phone.
