Can't get newly purchased VMWARE to boot

An administrative system I have to access for my new job runs ONLY on Windows -- I'm required to access the system (the one that lets me get paid, no less) using IE on Windows. I reluctantly today fork over $79 to purchase VMWARE Fusion to run Windows on my MacBookPro. After some annoying false starts (when I tried to run the free 30-day trial version it insisted I buy a serial number -- not sure what's free about that trial), I installed the program and now it would appear to not boot. I tried various kinds of installation setups, but each seemed to want a Microsoft serial key. Which, apparently, is not the same as the VMWARE serial key
Dumb question: do I ALSO have buy software from Microsoft to get this up and running? I'm sorry if these seem like such basic questions, but I'm new to this idea of running Windows on a Mac. Yes, you have to buy a Mircosoft Windows license, since Fusion (and Parallels and VirtualBox and BootCamp) not have Windows included.
MAybe ask the company if they have a Windows license you can use.

You can set up an iCloud account on each one (the SAME iCloud account using the same AppleID on each) and then sync via iCloud.

However, an iCloud backup nor sync contains purchased content - that is available for redownload from the iTunes and App stores (so no need to waste iCloud space storing it for you).
So, for purchased content, you will have to download it on each device - just use the same AppleID and download each item on each device.
Without a computer to aid the sync'ing, downloading the purchased content on each device is the only way.
P.S audiobooks cannot be re-downloaded once purchased (all other content can be), so without a computer to save, store and move the audiobook files around, you will only be able to put those on one device - the one you first purchase it on.

Ok so I have an iPod touch 4th gen and I purchased some music on it. I also have an iPad mini and wanted to download it onto there also. Problem is that no matter how many times I try I can't get my purchased music section to load. I get the big at the top where you can select all or not on this iPad and the alphabet down the left hand side and the little loading thingy appears but nothing ever actually loads no matter how long I wait. It also sometimes just crashes the whole thing and kicks me out the app. Any suggestions? I've tried turning device on and off, it has the latest software iOS 7 and I've tried resetting all the settings already also as well as logging in and out of my Apple ID.

By any chance, did you have the Find My iPhone app installed prior to it being stolen?

This seems very frustrating. An iPad can shut down randomally for many reasons, just like a computer can crash. If it begins to happen regularly, then do contact Apple, but there are no signs that your iPad is malfunctioning from just one shut down like this.
But, you should be able to get all your in-app purchases back. In some apps, there is a 'restore purchases' button, which will download all the purchases you made for free.
In some cases, you can tap to make the purchase again, and it will be downloaded at no charge, however this does not happen with consumable items such as coins and credits.
I reccomend contacting iTunes Store Support at the link below, they will take a closer look at your purchases and give you further steps on redeeming them. They may also refund you if they have been lost.

You can also contact the developer of the app, and report the crash and missing purchases. If you tell me the app, I'll give you the relevent contact in the developers.

iCloud does not store messages for you to see/access at icloud.com. It does back up messages so you can restore your iPhone if it ever needs to be reset to factory default. A backup is an image of all your data on the iPhone, and if you delete some messages, then they won't be part of any further backups.
If two people use the same iCloud account, then their devices are kept in sync, just like a single user's multiple devices are kept in sync. It's usually a good idea to have separate accounts for two people, since it's rarely the case that they want each phone to be an exact replica of the other.
Your iphone syncs contacts, events, camera roll, and many other things without the use of a computer.

If you made a backup of these items on your Mac or PC, you can sync the items to your iOS device. You can't download these items again from iTunes in the Cloud.
