Can't download.
I have always updated. Now everytime I go on a site it says I need to update, or haven't the latest Flash player. I try to down load but am told I have the latest already. Tried to remove completely and re install ... can't / won't allow this. So regardless how I try, I can't use Adobe, nor Flash player. Can't even get shot of and install another...
Have many time emailed Adobe in this regards, only to get no answers.
A bit peeved to say the least.

If the device is indicating to connect to iTunes, then it is in recovery mode. You will need the computer and iTunes to recover it. You can fix the iTunes to not sync to your device, but just let it recover the phone. I hope you would have a backup of your data in iCloud, since it is no longer available to you on the phone.

The key was to enable the feature within site settings and to trust the Workflow in Site A via configuring the trust in Site B (Site B is basically stating "I trust the workflow in Site A"). It also required an App Step to be inserted.

My IP cameras need ActiveX to record, how can I get ActiveX using Firefox?

I need to record on my IP cameras (Foscam and Wanscam) and need to use ActiveX controls. I only know of Internet Explorer having this add-on. My default browser is Firefox. I can open the cameras using Firefox, but cannot record. How can I download ActiveX to Firefox or is there something else I can use.

You would need other means to control the camera like a Java applet or a web based interface to be able to use the camera by other browsers apart from IE.

This has always been the case. CS3 will only enable that
option on a page
that already has one of those nasty menus on it. In other
words, the effect

WICD can't get IP using cable?

Hi,
When running the default "network" i can lease a dhcp address.
when following the wiki:
INTERFACES=(!eth0)
DAEMONS=(syslog-ng dbus !network !dhcdbd !networkmanager wicd ...)
I still cant get any ip using cable...wifi works...

Can Flex get faster using BLAZEDS with JBOSS

how can i make the data push faster?
i develop an application on java that reads data from a gps located in a car, and other java receive this data. im actually sending the data to FLEX using BlazeDS and JBoss as application server, but i dont know why it's too slow,
flex receive the data push every 3 seconds or more, and i want to be able to receive as much data as i want!!
my question is, can i make flex faster receiving this data!?
i need to receive the data faster to actually show on real time the position of the car,

Looks like you guys have blazeds up and running inside JBoss. I'm actually having trouble getting this up and running. Can you provide some info on how you set it up? Here are my configs:

Can not get URL using GetPageContext().getRequest().getRequestURI()

I am coding a web application using ColdFusion 8.
The situation is as follow:
- I type https://mypage.com/aaa/bbb.html on web browser where aaa and bbb.html does not exist in my web folder.
- And this will drive the error 404 PageNotFound occurred, in the code that processing error 404, I tried to get URL aaa/bbb.html by using GetPageContext().getRequest().getRequestURI() but the result of this command is my created 404 error page.
- I also tried to get URL by using CGI, but also couldn't get it.
Can you guys show me the way to get URL when no page is found error occurred?

ColdFusion will know nothing of https://mypage.com/aaa/bbb.html! As the requested page is HTML, the web server will respond to it, without involving ColdFusion. The ColdFusion function GetPageContext() is therefore irrelevant.

What external Hard drive can I get to use w/ my iMac and Macbook pro w/ Lion software? I have never used one. I need to back up my photos, iTunes, documenta, etc., Im a nursing student and very worried about losing my stuff. Any suggestions?

I have had my macbook pro and desktop since 2008 now. I have never had time to just sit down and learn about time machine and external hard drives. I am in nursing school and barely have time to breathe, so when I try to read the threads, all the tech terms run together. I have been referred to LaCIe, but I read some things saying problems with Lion (which I am highly disapointed in so far-but like I said, I have not had a lot of time to sit down and try to figure out out the kinks), Is there a good external harddrive anyone reccommends that will be easy/simple (not because I am lazy- I literally have no time w/ all my school work to figure out something complicated) , and go with my desk top and lap top?
My laptop started messing up in class the other day, and it has a lot of memory left, so I don't understand. It kept freezing up like a PC. Ever since I downloaded Lion, it seems my computers have gotten slower. ;( I have MacKeeper downloaded on both of them. I cleaned stuff off, it seems to be working better right now. But I am still soooo scared that something will happen and I will lose all of my info.
I would be grateful of any advice/suggestions that anyone can give me.

I have downloaded Fiefox 7 for my laptop running Windows 7. Now i cannot get any sound from web content. ( I can still get sound using Google Chrome !!) Any ideas ?

I downloaded Firefox 7 and now cannot get any sound when playing web content. I have reinstalled but still no joy. When I use Google Chrome for the same useage, it plays sound fine.

I can only get sound using Apple's Headphones. Help?

Okay, this is weird.
I had no sound, or so I thought. However, now my ipod does have sound, but only through apple's headset. If I plug in any working headphone set, I get nothing but silence, but if I use the apple headset, I get sound. This is also the same for my MAC if that give any clues. Last night, both of these items were working perfectly and had sound regardless of the kind of headphones.
Anyone have any ideas what I could do to fix this or what the problem might be? I want to use my good headphones again.

Safari or Firefox are the optimal choices. At times Safari does not open links with smooth pagination of fonts and lettering / graphics are not clear. So I opt for Firefox. Be aware that you need to close Safari to use Firefox. It has been my experience.that if I forget to close Safari and open Firefox at same time Firefox error message says oops! We need to reset or can't open try again.
