Can't get past  "Setup Profile" for registration

I'm trying to register for My Verizon, but I can't get past the "Setup Profile" page in order to register. The "Continue" button on the bottom right will not allow me to click it. What's up?

Have you tried refreshing the page?  Using a different browser? Clearing cache and cookies on your browser?
Is you browser up-to-date?  Running any add-ons like an ad blocker that might accidentally interfere?  Try it with a stock, updated version of Firefox or IE.  If that doesn't work, you might need to wait a few days, and if that doesn't help, call in and ask for some troubleshooting.

  • How can I get the serial number for registration and instalation?

Hello ,How can I get the serial number for registration and instalation?

    contact your local sales representative.
You don't need a serial number to install LabVIEW.
    Registration is optional.
Activation is needed after the evaluation period.
Install it without number and it will work for a limited time (30days?) in evaluation mode, giving you plenty of time to decide if you want to buy it.
Check the license manager to see the activation status of everything installed.

  • How do I skip upgrading itunes? I used to have an option, now I can't get past the upgrade for free screen!

I have been trying to access the itunes store for a week now but can not get past the screen to upgrade for free.  I do not want to upgrade, I tried but can not install the free upgrade because I am using 10.2.2.  I do not want to upgrade I just want to get to the itunes store... how do I get past this screen?  There used to be an option to skip the upgrade.

I have an iMac G5 with a pre-Intel processor.  My current OS is 10.4.1.  When I open my iTunes store function, I get an upgrade to iTunes 10.5 page that does not allow me the opportunity to refuse the recommended upgrade and I don't want it because my processor is not the Intel processor.  I can't get past this page to access the iTunes store.  I can't find iTunes 9.2.1 online to download, if that is the only solution.  I can't believe Apple is forcing me to purchase a new iMac in order to continue using iTunes on my current iMac.  I'd like a good answer and solution to this problem.

  • Can't get past payment screen for Apple ID?

    Hello All,
I'm a new iPhone user. In my company, we're transitioning from Blackberry to iPhone which I'm responsible for setting up. During the activation process, I have run into an issue with multiple devices where I cannot get past the Apple ID account settings.
Here's the process I've taken to get there...
After doing the basic setup of the iPhone including creating a new Apple ID account (which I've verified as well via an email sent), I go to the app store to download Cirtirx Worx Home, which is free.
Once I click on 'install', It then pronpts me to enter an existing Apple ID or create a new one. I select existing since one was already created and verified.
It then asks for the country, which I select and then takes me to a screen that asks for type of payment. I select "none". Once I click 'next', I should see the 'done' option in the top right corner, but instead, I get a 'cancel' option in the top left and a message in red that indicates to contact iTunes support for help. I have filled out all necessary fields as well on that screen.
I was able to complete a few of them, so I know the steps and process to have them activated.
I have updated the software to iOS 7.1.1 and I have tried "erase all content and settings", but doesn't resolve this issue.
    Please advise.
    Thanks,
    Tom

Have you considered doing what the message suggested and contacting iTunes support?
You can only use a single Apple ID on a limited number of devices. I suspect you've hit your limit.

  • Can't get past setup assistant after installing leopard...

i am having trouble getting past the setup assistant after installing leopard on my other computer which is a 1.25 ghz G4 desktop. Everything seems to be going fine then the setup assistant comes up and i go through the exercise of filling it out and at the end it says click on done and then you can use the computer. unfortunately it goes right back into the setup assistant like i had never gone there before. it is in some kind of loop. would it be wise to reinstall leopard? if so, does it know that it was installed already and rewrite over the first install? or is there something else i may try. i tried resetting the PRAM and some other things recommended but nothing seems to work. any help will be appreciated.
    thanks in advance...

    mr_magicman,
I can imagine how frustrating this must be for you. It sounds like you went for the (default) Upgrade option.
    Okay, how about trying this:
    1. With the *OS X 10.5 Install Disk 1* still in the bay, Restart your computer. Without access to menus, you'll have to use the power switch to turn it off. +[Alternatively, if you do have access to menus, select the Restart command (in the Apple menu) — always the preferred method.]+
    2. If you're using the power switch method, here, wait about 10 - 15 seconds then depress the power switch again for about 5 full seconds (or until you hear the computer come back to life). +[Alternatively, if you had selected the Restart command in Step 1, the computer will start up again on its own.]+ *Either way, as the computer starts up, press and keep pressing, the Mouse until the disk ejects.* By the way, if you're using a Mighty Mouse with a left and right option, press down on the left side only. Hopefully this will get you out of the loop caused by your Install DVD remaining in the drive.
Finally, to be fair to you, I must tell you that there's a more suitable Forum for your particular kind of problem, viz., *Installation and Setup* (http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1219) I recommend you check out the questions/answers in that Forum in case your question has already been asked and answered.
PS. If you do re-post your question in that Forum, don't forget to mention whether or not you internal hard disk has been backed up.
    GOOD LUCK!
    Bill

  • BEFW11S4 Can't get past Setup

Hi.....Inherited a BEFW11S4 v3.2. After some fiddling around, have managed to access the Setup screens. Reset to defaults - both on the router, and using the option in Setup. Setup accepted my network name, and when I submitted a new password I got an acceptance message - even though the number of asterisks denoting the password reverted to what I take to be a default after the screen reloads.
So, my computer is obviously accessing the router, and I can see that the router is broadcasting a signal - and the network is identified by the new name I've given it when I scan for wireless networks - but I cannot access the internet. I know that my modem is working, because I have no trouble getting online with another Linksys router.
I believe I've updated to the latest firmware - 1.45v10 - although the setup screen still displays only 1.45, 2003.
Am I missing something fundamental here?
    Thanks

To upgrade the firmware you may use the TFTP Utility
Double click the tftp.exe file and click run :
For Server- Enter the IP Address of the router that you assigned.  By default, the router is 192.168.1.1...
For Password- Enter the password you assigned the router. By default, the router’s password is “admin”.
For File- Click the triple “…” button and browse for the .bin firmware file...
Click Upgrade button to start upgrading.  A progress bar should show up to show the progress.
Once the Upgrade is done press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...
Follow the link here as your ISP is Cable...
Once you are done you can change the SSID/Network Name under the Wireless tab and change the channel to 11 or 1 and click Save Settings...
Click on the Sub tab under Wireless > Wireless Security...
Change the Wireless security mode to WEP, Encryption should be 64 bits.Leave the passphrase blank, don't type in anything...
Under WEP Key 1 type in any 10 numbers please(numbers only and no letters eg: your 10 digit phone number) and click on save settings...
Please make a note of WEP Key 1 as this is the Security Key for the Wireless Network...
Now see if you can locate your Wireless Network and attempt to connect...

  • All account settings lost - can't get past Setup Assistant

    Dear all -
I just rebooted my computer (because an iDisk transfer froze Finder again...) and now all my user data appears to be gone. I can still login, but after that I get the Mac OS X Setup Assistant... After I re-enter all that crap, the login screen pops up again, and I can start all over again, and again, and again...
    Something is clearly wrong here.
I haven't set up any other accounts, so I think I am hosed.
The computer is only three months old, so I am covered by warranty, but it is still annoying.
Does anyone out here know if there is a way out of this mode w/o a full re-install?
    Regards,
    Erwin

    "Applebob for president"
Just tried the applebob solution, but was worried with no joy after 100 revs of the progress wheel I get the jet engine fan of **** that many of us enjoyed when we had our early leopard upgrades. After a long while the fans stop and the HD starts to run it's boot up chugging and I get the safe startup dialogue.
I could not understand what he means by 'hit back' so logging in gets me the same setup assistant scenario, quitting that goes back to the login screen and i select the restart option which drops me into the blue screen where i get a software update feature running as Applebob mentions
To confirm my own problem for those searching to cure a similar incident. I was installing last nights apple quicktime upgrade which went fine on a g4 powermac and al-book I initially cancelled the upgrade on the g5 at the login phase to go back to review the reasons for the quicktime upgrade then went ahead to upgrade. Upon typing my login details was given an immediate restart option.. although i doubted the wisdom of doing so i did it and when it rebooted i had the perpetual setup assistant syndrome as others mention. Clearly the applebob solution fixed the botched quicktime update.

  • Can't get past Air EULA for any Air programs

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Air with no luck.
Air appears to install, ask to accept the user agreement, then closes the installation.
Every time I try to run an air application like Twhirl or Prezi, it brings up the EULA again and asks for me to accept it. I do, it then closes, and does not run the program. This was not an issue yesterday and no settings have changed on my computer. I do recall accepting an Air upgrade yesterday or earlier today.

TIFFs will hold everything that PSDs do.
That's nice to hear. However, I found that the Image Processor conversion doesn't work correctly in some cases. Here's one example. I have a file with a single image layer and which is a Smart Object. I applied a Blur Gallery Iris Blur to this object as a Smart Filter. After running the Image Processor what I got was a flattened file with no Smart Object and no blur filter. The filter effect was rasterized so it wasn't lost but the ability to edit further was.
And it gets worse. I have another file with a single Smart Object layer and a Nik Software Color Efex Pro filter applied. In this case, not only did it flatten the file, it didn't even render the effect correctly.
I played around with my preferences thinking that my Maximize Compatibility or TIFF layer-save options might be causing the problem. But, so far, I haven't been able to get the Image Processor to work correctly.
However, if I do the conversion manually I end up with a TIFF file that includes the Smart Object with Smart Filter intact. If I want to use these files with Lightroom I guess I'll have to convert each one manually.

  • Can't get past setup assistant

Imac running OSX 10.5 froze while intalling updates. Turned off, when restarted it took me to the setup assistant and won't let me past it now. Whenever I log in, just goes back to setup. From that screen, can't do anything at all, whether restart, shutdown, system preferences, etc.
Mac shows correct user name and accepts password, but other than that.....nothing!

    Will anything here help?

  • Can't get past gray screen for OS X but will boot into Windows partition.

Hi- I am really desperate for help here.
Restarted my computer this evening when Front Row wasn't able to find the files on my external HD. When it booted it went directly in to my Windows Boot Camp partition. So I restarted, held down 'option', choose my OS X disk and just got the spinning sun icon on the gray screen for several minutes. It then booted into Windows again. If I hold down 'option' again I can cut it off before it gets to Windows.
I've tried booting into a cloned HD via FireWire and same results.
I've tried booting with the install disk (c key held down) and it won't recognize it.
I've tried Safe Mode (shift key) - same.
I've booted into Single User and done fsck and and it says everything is ok.
    - BUT I did notice it says further up- "BSD: rootdisk0s2, major 14, minor 2". Are these errors? If so why didn't fsck find and fix them.
I've tried resetting PRAM and SMC.
The only thing I have done out of the ordinary was an hour before I was trying to get some of my files on my wife's laptop and went into permissions on my HD and changed "Everyone" Priviledges to Read (or maybe it was Read and Write) then chose "apply to enclosed items". This change took about 20 minutes.
The computer is, of course, just over a year old and has worked perfectly up until now.
    Someone-Please!!!

Tried that and it just doesn't read the disk. I've booted it with the disc already in and held Shift and also tried it with "C". The same for putting the disc in just as it boots up.
I went into Single User mode again and compared the text against what shows up on the laptop. Their are a few differences. At the very beginning of the iMac text there is:
    npvhash=4095
    hi mem tramps at 0xffe00000
    PAE Enabled
    64 bit mode enabled
    -then-
Extension "com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpicomponents; use only one style.
Extension "com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpicomponents; use only one style.
-then- after "MAC Framework successfully initialized" comes this three times...
Extension "com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpicomponents; use only one style.
These are really the only major differences that I can see in the Single Mode screen.
I also have tried booting from the Firewire drive clone on the laptop but it is not an available option for booting. The disk partitions mount but have a lock in the corner and say they cannot be opened because I have insufficient access privileges.

  • Can't Get Past the iPod Touch Registration Screen

I am setting up an iPod touch for my wife, registering it under my name since I will most likely be the hardware admin for the device. I started iTunes (v8) and plugged it into by MBPro for the first time. It took me thru 2 registration screens, filling in all of the fields, finally reaching the SUBMIT button. I have clicked this, but it gives no response; the screen does not change. The iPod shows up under devices and accepts content, but I cannot see what is on the device like I can with my old iPod. Internet connectivity verified. Any idea what is wrong?

Can I ask a couple of questions?
Does iTunes see the iPod when you connect it (as in trying to sync)?
Are you able to transfer songs/applications/etc. to the new iPod?
Have you clicked on the on the caret next to the device in iTunes? (It should give you a drop down with all of the various folders on the iPod.)
I'm not sure about the registration issue, but were you connected to the internet when you tried this?

  • Can't Get Past Preview Unavailable for a PSD File

I know that Lightroom is unable to generate previews for PSD files if they haven't been saved with the Maximize Compatibility option. But, it seems that once you begin a preview for a folder Lightroom gets stuck in that mode even if you then go ahead and resave the file with the Maximize Compatibility option set to Always.
In a test just now I opened one of the problem files in Photoshop CS6 and saved it. Then I went back to Lightroom and tried to reimport the file but it still said Preview Unavailable. I tried toggling on/off a couple of layers and resaving but it still didn't help. So, next I actually tried making a change to the file and resaving. That still didn't work. I've tried exiting from the Import dialog in LR and restarting the import and even restarting Lightroom but nothing makes a difference.
If I save a new copy of the file in Photoshop (without changing any settings in my Photoshop preferences) Lightroom is able to show a preview and import the copy. So, the file itself is fine. In fact, it's just a simple 1MB file with a background layer and a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer.
I've found this same behavior with both LR 4 and LR 5 Beta.
I have a lot of PSD files that I've edited over the years in Photoshop. Now, I'm considering using Lightroom but if I have to create new copies of every one of my PSD files in order to see them in Lightroom I don't know if it's going to be worth the trouble. Is there any workaround?

  • Can't Get Past Password Box for Installations

This is starting to get really frustrating...I've been trying to download an Adobe Flash program and install a Photoshop Lightroom 3 program in my MacBook Pro computer, but every time I put my password in for Adobe and click enter, the box just vibrates and won't let me move forward. What the heck is going on?

It would appear that you Macintosh is asking you to enter your adminsitrator password.  This is the same password which is used when you log into your computer.

  • Cannot get past setup. WebOS Dr not working

    Hello everyone.
I am ready to get my money back on this thing so this is my last attempt to get it working.
About me: 30 years of computer knowledge so I know how to follow directions.
Tried 4 of the 5T's several times, but cannot get WebOS doctor to run
Cannot get past setup on the touchpad so I don't know my webOS version
Have read every troubleshooting guide I can find
No WebOS account because I cannot get that far.
Been working on this for 3 days
    My setup:
    Windows 7 x64 sp1
    Java 1.7
    4GB ram
    500GB HDD
Found a link to WebOS Dr without an account form tis forum, but it would not  run. Got error MSVCR100.dll missing. Got the file and put it in systemWOWx64. File was alrady in systemx86. Also put in folder with WebOs Dr app.
No error, but no joy either. Then read another post that sent me to
    http://www.webos-internals.org/wiki/Webos_Doctor_Versions#Wifi_Only
Donloaded latest version 3.0.5 WIFI omly. Don't know my actual WebOs version because I can't get past setup.
    What happens on setup:
    Selcet language = ok
    select network = ok
    enter network key = ok
load User agreement = never happens becaue after about 10 minutes I get "server Error" that takes me back to the begining. I have done this process about 30+ times.
Also, must note the toughpad takes 5-6 minutes just to come on. The longest I have ever waited for anything to boot up.
Update: Contacted seller, WebOS ver. 3.0, 32GB Touchpad
Post relates to: HP TouchPad (WiFi)

I think this might be your problem. Java 7 is only a developer preview right now and not ready for mass consumption yet (info about that is here: http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/java7.xml) Any chance you can try using the latest version of Java 1.6 and run webOS Doctor again?
Also, the webOS Doctor file should be a .jar and not a .rar. Some browsers have been known to mix up the extension so try heading to http://www.webos-internals.org/wiki/WebOS_Doctor_Versions, finding the version for your product, and right-clicking + selecting "Save As..."

I had the same problem and found a bunch of others did, too.  Unfortunately all the posts had no responses!  Anyway, I previously had my payment method linked to my paypal.  I tried changing it to my credit card and it worked.  Don't know if there's a bug with using paypal but that seemed to be the culprit for me.  Good luck!
