Can't get past the "Create Your Blackberry ID" screen when trying to set up email

I had a 9810 and pretty much wore it out. My wife also had a 9810 that was in good shape and recently got a new phone. I backed up my phone and wipe hers, swith the SIM cards and restored my data to her phone. Everything works perfectly except the email. I can see all the email that was transferred, but I can't send or receive any new email.
I figured I needed to go through the email set up. In that process it wants me to create a blackberry ID. I have filled otu the fiels numerous times and every it looks like it is going to go through and then it goes back to a screen where everything I just filled out is still there except it wants be to select a password and then confrim it a second time. I do that again and it does the same thing again. When I put a password in it telss me I have picked a "strong" one, but it just won't seem to stick and let me past this screen
All I really want to do is get my phone to send and received email, like I said I can see all the old emails that came over from my old phone in the data restore.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I recommend you contact AT&T's dedicated BB Support staff (call their front line, request escalation to BB Support) and have them check to be sure that your account with them is correctly configured for this device. Sometimes when switching devices things don't fully automatically move behind the scenes, and only they (ATT) can validate that.

The first important thing to find out will be, if this is a hardware or a software issue.
I would first request you to run a test on the Hard drive. You can do this test from the BIOS.
Steps:
1: Shutdown the computer
2: Turn the computer back on and start tapping the F10 Key on the keyboard. This will allow you to enter the BIOS page
3: You will have diagnostics under which you can run a short and long test on the HDD. Run both the test and see if the test passes or fails.
4: If the test fails there is an issue with the Hard drive and the drive needs to be replaced. If the test passes then its an issue with the Software on the computer
If you have not deleated any partition on the computer or changed the operating system, you will have the HP Recovery option available
Steps:
1: Shutdown the computer
2: Restart the computer and keep tapping the F11 key. This will allow you to enter the HP Recovery manager page.
From here you can do a complete recovery of the computer
Note: Recovery will erase all the data on the computer.
If the recovery partition is not available, you can contact HP and request for a recovery disc

Can't get past the "enter your password" window to receive email

I currently have Road Runner Broadband services thru our local cable company. Until recently, my email was no problem. All of a sudden, I'm getting a pop up window requesting I enter my password. I have tried the original password used by the service provider, plus the one I changed it to... says it doesn't recognize the password. Called service provider and after about 30 minutes of diagnostics,to include verification of all settings originally installed as part of the cable service and provider says it is not an issue with the cable, its with the iMac... Any suggestions? Would the problem go away if I deleted the Road Runner software and reinstall it? Very frustrating.

I recieved my brand new mac today, im on the start up bit but my keyboard refuses to connect with the mac?The mouse is fine, but i cant get past the 'create your comuper account' part as the keyboard just wont connect? ugh what do i do

Did you turn on the keyboard by pressing the round side button (right side, I think) such that the green light starts to blink? Then open Blue Tooth preferences in order to pair the keyboard to the computer.

Can't get past the initial "Slide to Setup" screen on iPhone 5c

My new Virgin Mobile iPhone 5c arrived a little while ago, and I've gotten as far as installing the SIM card and am now stuck. The multilingual "Hello/Slide to Setup" screen won't go away. If you have a rescue email address setup in your Apple ID profile, then you can reset the security questions. You would need to know those answers to get passed the screen to log in and verify.

The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.

I created an allowance for my daughter but can't get past the edit Apple ID details. I get Your information could not be saved at this time.

I had to create an account for her because she is underage but I can't get past the edit Apple ID details page. I have confirmed the email address and was able to set up some of the services on the iPod but can't finish setting up the account.

Experiment - or search these forums - someone discovered a solution and it was a format issue
The US format for phone numbers is 10 digits AAA-PPP-NNNN - you do not include the 01+ here typically - maybe if you can out your digites in that format it will work

Claudius,either you didn't read my post, or you jumped to conclusions. I had a skype account that was created using a microsoft account (NOT THE ACCOUNT I AM USING NOW). PURE MICROSOFT ACCOUNT NO OTHER ACCOUNT LINKING.I had to change the primary mail of that account.I was told "no can do" by skype support.I found that if I went to account settings and clicked on the link on the line below the one that said "MICROSOFT etc" (labeled something along the lines of "TV or Device") I got the opportunity to set the password of the "live:username" account (WHICH YOU COINCIDENTALLY HAVE TO DO IF YOU WANT TO USE SMART TVs ETC).Once that was done, I COULD SUCCESSFULLY DO WHAT SKYPE SUPPORT SAID WAS IMPOSSIBLE- I could change the primary mail address. once that was done, and NOT BEFORE, I linked the account to a facebook account as well, just to be sure I have more than one way to access the skype account. What caused you to get the impression that I was writing something else? furthermore this sentence - "The solution you described in your initial message isn't actually once since all the time you were operating on different account that weren't actually linked" does not make sense, I think you mis-edited it.and I need to point out that you are incorrect. If you are setting up the iPod try via iTunes. It is easier to troubleshoot a working iPod.

My machine was patched to date 10.x.x. I was lucky to get an internet connection and I selected the option to re-download Lion... its curruently being downloaded. What if that doesn't work?
