Can't get purchased songs from library to i-pod

I've purchased 2 songs, they are in my library but when I try to load them I get the error message "Could not complete Music Store request. Unknown error occurred -208. Please try again later" I can't even listen to the songs and it keeps asking me to authorize my computer. How many times do I need to do that?????????

I did a search on "208" over in the Search Discussions box, try deleting the SC Info folder.

In iTunes, try the Store menu - use the Authorize Computer option.
Or you might have reached a limit on authorized devices (I think the limit is 5). I get pretty close with cell phones, nav system and shuffle on same iTunes account.

When recently syncing my iPhone a message came up regarding transferring purchases or something.. In haste I pressed the wrong reply.. My phone synced, but removed all of the songs I purchased on my iPhone. Although they are still on my iTunes and I can play them.. but they will not sync back to the iPhone what so ever.. I'm stressed out big time and can't believe I was such an idiot lol!! Had a look at a few forums.. But they seem to be about transffering from Iphone to Itunes...

At the AT&T store. Tried using iCloud but only 120 songs were transferred and when I access my iTunes account now it only shows 120 and not the 450 anymore that I purchased on my old phone. Tried to sync again from the phone to iTunes and it still not working.
I purchased everything under the same apple ID account I called apple support and spent almost 2 hours with tech support for assistance and we got disconected and they never called me back.
I'm at the point where I'm about to never purchase anything anymore from apple go to another company retrieve every single charge made on my bank account from iTunes and file a law suit against the company. It's being a week that I called for assistance and no one called me back to help me with this matter even after I responded a survey with a complaint about not getting a resolution to my problem.
If you could please help me I will appreciate, I'm out of the country now and can't stay on the phone for a long time.
I need to sell my old phone but as right now besides all my bank statements the old phone is the only evidence that I purchased the songs.

I have her phone synced to my library but when I go to add songs it always asks if i want to erase whole phone and replace.
I just want to add a few songs...

Does this happen if you create a new test playlist? Try clicking File> New Playlist, then drag and drop a few songs on to the playlist.
If its only happening with the one playlist, you can edit it (if it's a smart playlist) or delete and remake it.
If its happening with all playlists, try re-creating your iTunes library.

I have a brand new computer and ipod, and I'm wondering if there is a way to get previously purchased songs from the itunes store into my library and onto my ipod. My computer is already authorized and I know there is a way to get purchased songs from an ipod into itunes, but I can't figure out store into library. Any help would be greatly appreciated

iTunes is the library.
So if you know how to get purchased > iTunes, then you already are moving store > library.
The easiest way to get everything from old computer to new computer is...
Copy the entire \Music\iTunes folder from the old computer to \Music\ on the new computer.
You can use your iPod.

I fixed this issue (with help from tech support) and it involved several things.
After adding a song to iTunes, right-click on the song in iTunes and select "Update iTunes Match."
OR go to the iTunes menu-->Store-->Update iTunes Match.
Maybe that's the reason, it just hadn't updated to the cloud.
OR maybe it's not a high-enough bitrate file. This happens to me because most of my tunes are home-recorded.
Sometimes converting to .mp3 or Create AAC version might work. (You do this with a right-click in iTunes, and then you will want to remove the original file from iTunes.)
There is an iTunes Preferences setting, under General Preferences called Import Settings. Try setting it to AAC Encoder and iTunes Plus. That (I think) causes imports to be slightly better quality.

You can either sync them to her iPod using iTunes, or sign into your Apple ID in Settings>iTunes & App Store on her iPod and download them as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519. I have an iTouch with songs that are on there from my CDs as well as purchased songs from iTunes. Currently my iTouch plays all of my music. When I went to sync my new iPhone4S using my PC (Windows with latest upgrade), it only will sync songs I purchases from iTunes. It appears all of the music on iTunes that I put there from my CDs have an ! next to them, and they will not sync to my new phone. How can I get my iTunes account to recognize my CDs as legal muisc that I can put on my iPhone? I do not want to reload all 1,600 songs from my CD collection.

Songs with an exclamation mark against them are songs that iTunes can't find. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the files, or that the drive the live on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

Can't transfer purchased music from library to IPod mini

I have a two year old IPod mini that I haven't used in awhile. We recently had a computer crash and reinstalled the operating system with Windows XP Pro. I no longer have the original CD that came with my IPod when it was purchased. I have been able to download music to my library, however, when I plug my IPod into the computer, I get the message that my IPod sync is complete, and it is ok to disconnect. The problem is that I can't get the music from the library onto my IPod. What am I doing wrong?

I checked to see what form of software I had for my IPod, it turns out I have the updated version of the IPod software as well as the newest version of I Tunes. I opened my library and plugged my IPod in and hit the sync button, after 5 seconds or so it told me sync was complete, ok to disconnect IPod. I still have no music on the IPod and no idea what the problem could be.
