Can't get Single selection to work in jtable using Netbeans

I used the GUI editor to create a jTable to play around and I can't get the single selection to work as it should
I have it set like this:
jTable1.setSelectionMode(javax.swing.ListSelectionModel.SINGLE_SELECTION);The table still selection the rows as if they were set as Multi Interval selection. Anyone could explain why?

• I can't get the volume to work when I use firefox. It does work on internet explorer. What is going on?

I downloaded firefox in order to do some online training that I couldn't open in any other browser. I can't get the volume to work in this browser. I can use internet explorer and the volume works. But I can only do the training through firefox.

You can click the Volume icon on the Windows Taskbar near the clock and click the Mixer link at the bottom to open the mixer.
You can adjust the volume level for each application in that window, so make sure that Firefox is not muted or set at a low level.
Current Firefox versions use the plugin-container process to run plugins, so you need to check the volume setting for the plugin-container process.
You will only see the Firefox program or the Plugin Container in the Mixer if you are on a website that plays sound.
• How can I get my servlets to work which are using servlet 2.3 API

I am using the classes and new methods that are introduced in servlet 2.3 and I am not able to get them to work. is there a work around or a patch available for this. I have installed Iplanet application server Enterprise Edition version 6.0 SP3 from the test drive.

In short, no. iAS is a 2.2 servlet container. You would have to backport your application to version 2.2 of the servlet spec.

• After my update to version 4, the back button now only seems to store the last page I was on rather than the last 10 like it used to before the update. I've scoured the options menu to no avail. How can I get the back button working like it used to?

The back button used to work many times before it would reach the end of its list of pages I had been to recently and became greyed out, but now it will only work once before this happens. Also, the list of pages that pops up when I right click it now only has two entries no matter how many pages I've visited on that tab, the page I am currently on and the page I most recently left. Previous to the installation of the update to version 4 however, the list that appeared when I right clicked on the back button contained up to 10 items.

Try the Firefox SafeMode.
''A troubleshooting mode, which disables most other Add-ons.''
# You can open the Firefox 4.0 SafeMode by holding the '''Shft''' key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
# Or use the Help menu item, click on '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' while Firefox is running.
''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shft key) to open it again.''
If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.
• I can't get my iPhone to work with projector using keynote.

I've tried using my iPad with the same projector and same presentation. It works. But, my notes (massive amount of notes, not conducive to keynotes presenter notes) need to be on my iPad, so I would love to setup my iPad as the remote, and the iPhone as the presentation host via a VGA into the projector. So far no luck. Any suggestions?

I don't think there's any way to do that - to control one iOS device with another.

• I can not get my mouse to work correctly when using firefox. Works fine on IE

When I try to use the search bar on home page, my mouse will not click on it. Have same problem with facebook when I try to go back to homepage-it will not click. I do not have this problem when using IE so I know my mouse is working correctly.

Quit the Mail app.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally.

• After upgrading to Lion can't get Boot Camp to work! Just get "startup dusk cannot be portioned or restored to a single partition"?

After upgrading to Lion can't get Boot Camp to work! Just get "The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition". Anytone?

This message, and threads like yours got asked daily for over two years, now it is only a couple times a week!!
Is it so hard to follow through? you were to have backup already, clones are best, then erase/format and restore.
Then partition.
Some have been able to use Disk Utility booted from OS X DVD or another drive, and repair the drive.
You have to use Boot Camp Assistant (99.9% anyway) to create and achieve a proper Windows Master Boot Record partition.

Can anyone help me with this?

The standard arch kernel includes all the required modules, at most you need to load them explicitly listing them in MODULES in /etc/rc.conf
You need also the hw specific stuff, that is i915 and intelagp. Check lsmod and see if they are loaded. If they are not, inspect dmesg and see if udev tries to load them and fails for some reason.
I remember some cases where intelagp and i915 are not loaded by udev in the right order, if this is your case you can try to list them in the right order in MODULES.
There should be no need to recompile the kernel or to install a particular version of dri (just use the arch packages for mesa, libdrm etc; but I guess you have them already)

• Can't get "Edit Colors" to work in Illustrator CC

Hi. My boss just added Illustrator CC to my mac.
I'm not sure why, but I can't get "Edit Colors" to work in Illustrator CC.
When I select an object and try to reassign colors in the "Edit Colors" menu, the submenus are greyed out.
It works fine on Illustrator CS5, so I'm not sure what the problem is in CC.
Is this a bug or just a limitation of the CC trial period?
Can anyone please help with this?

OK, so Trial Period isn't the problem? Thanks for that info.
I'm working with customer supplied files and often have to reassign colors to artwork for different projects.
I can assign colors with the color panel, but complex designs containing multiple pieces and layers can take for-ev-er to reassign colors that way.
Like I said, "edit colors" works fine in CS5, so I'm trying to figure out why it's not working in CC.
Appreciate any help the forum members can provide.

• Can't get my TC to work in Bridge mode...

I installed Time Capsule TC to my exsisting network, that has a Linksys router. Can't get my TC to work in Bridge mode. Suggestions?
I have the TC directly connected to the router and want to use the TC for wireless Time Machine back ups and to share other hardrives via
the network. I also have an old airport express for airplay speakers in one room. And an airport extreme that I thought I had set up to extend
the network wirelessly. I have yet to find a concise and clear list of steps to make this happen.
Any help would be appreciated.
Holly

The problem is the steps changed with the new airport utility..
I can tell you the steps on a 5.x utility. If you run Lion then download the real tool.
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1482
Go to manual setup.. internet tab.. connection sharing.. select off, bridge mode.. update the TC..
Wasn't too hard was it.

• Can't get Delete Process to work on Manual Tabular Form

Help. My insert and update process works just fine. I can't get the delete process to work. I've searched the forum and found a couple of examples on what to do, but I can't get the examples to work. I get an ORA-01403: no data found error.

• Can't get completion insight to work

Hi all,
I just can't get completion insight to work on the newer releases of sqldeveloper. It works fine until Version 1.5.5 Build MAIN-5969. However on both Version 2.1.0.62 Build MAIN-62.61 and Version 2.1.0.63 Build MAIN-63.73 it justn't work no matter what settings I use.
I have run both the builds from \sqldeveloper\bin\sqldeveloper.exe and no exceptions are reported.
This is the console output from 2.1.0.63

Thanks

This console output says that the completion insight queries are executing - the first example took ~ 3.5 seconds and the second example took ~ 39 seconds. Unfortunately, it doesn't tell you how many records it returned.
If you copy the queries out of the console output and run them manually, do you get any results? For example, the second query would be:
select 'TABLE' type, ''||o.owner# owner, name object_name, null column_name, null column_id, null data_type
FROM sys.obj$ o
where o.name not like 'BIN%'

• Can't get cell borders to work

I'm new Mac user...and I'm having a terrible time working with some spreadsheets that I created in Excel and saved as .numbers docs.
My current problem is: I can't get cell borders to work. I had an existing Excel spreadsheet and when I saved it as a num.doc, I lost my column headers. I selected table columns for 3 columns. When I did this I lost the existing cell borders. Now when I try to put them back, they appear while I am in the selected rows, so it looks like it worked, but then when I click another cell, the borders all disappear.
Can anyone help me out?
Right now I really miss my PC
People keep telling me I'll love my MAC one day, but I'm still waiting...

Microsoft Office is available for Macs. That might be one solution to your problem and might make this switch from PC to Mac a little easier for you.
Conversions from one format to another are often not perfect. Numbers and Excel are sufficiently different that you might spend considerable time redesigning an imported Excel spreadsheet to make it look and print as you would like it to in Numbers. With regards to borders, it is possible you are not following the proper steps to create borders. There is definitely a learning curve going from Excel to Numbers. Have you downloaded and read the Numbers Users Manual that is available in the Help menu?

• Can't get iCal alarm to work

I've tried everything that I've read ... but I can't get the alarm to work - Does anyone else have this problem OR solution?
Thx in advance!

Do you have it set to go off to a certain song, or the beep? It might be that if you have it set off to go to a song, that listening to tunes might override the alarm. I'll know more in about 1 minute...
Mine works while playing music without headphones and the alarm is set to beep. Another minute or two and I'll test the alarm going off to a song while in shuffle mode.
I did just what I said...and it worked fine. It plays the little beeping tune and then switches to a song in the playlist you've selected.
I'm out of ideas on why it might not be working. All I can think of is to make sure that the alarm you set is listed before going back to the main menu.
