Can't get sound on my converted video ot TV shows

I'm right clicking on the title and converting the video to ipod. I am getting a sync but I'm still having problems getting the audio to come through. Any ideas? Do I have to use a diffent conversion program?

Try doing a cleansweep and reinstall of the sound card. Follow these instructions to cleansweep. After you have finish reinstalling, try the EAX console again

What apps are you trying? TV out video only works with apps that support TV out. If the app does not support TV out you will still get aoudio via the component cable

What iOS in on your iPod? The Users Guide says:

I can't get sound from my macbook pro to my hdtv.

I have tried using cables that go from headphone jack to the one on the tv, from the audio input to the headphone jack on my mac and another iwire digital optical cable that only fit in the digital audio out at the back of my tv. Nothing worked. I can only get sound out of the laptop. Please help, this is driving me crazy. I get picture just fine however.
I have a Panasonic Viera 42" tv.

Hi Brad,
You'll need to run a 3.5mm stereo mini jack (on the MBP end) to RCA (usually red and white) and connect the RCA cables to the inputs which correspond with the video input you're using, then select that set of inputs on the TV.

Whenever, I have pages open or any other app I press the home button twice, and then I swipe to the right and obtain the menu that allows me to alter brightness or sound. At this point I press play and nothing works. However, once I go back to my youtube page, and press the play button then it works. If anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciated. in finder do your username under places then library then application support then MobileSync then Backups
the shortest folder name should be the UDID
of course that assumes it ever made a backup...
if it made more than one there will be some -date-blah on the end...

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. Tap the icon on the far left side of the row to either lock the iPad’s screen or mute the iPad’s alerts, notifications and sound effects. Music, podcasts and video are not muted unless you turn the volume all the way down.

I would be happy to help you. Firstly, a few more details about your notebook would be helpful, as there are many different versions of the HP 2000 Notebook. Please read the following documents, if you need help in finding your product/model number and OS version.
How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?
Has your HDMI/TV connection ever had sound before, and if so were there any updates that could have affected it?

In the following link, please pay particular attention to the section on Troubleshooting TV setup as a second monitor.
Using Two or More Monitors with One Computer (Windows 8)
Other things that could help would be to insure that you have updated all the video and audio related drivers for your notebook. The drivers can normally be found from the product page for your notebook, or from the original chipset manufacturer. I would link that page to this, but I need the exact product/model number to get the right page for you.
Another thing that could help with drivers is the: HP Support Assistant as it can automate the driver updates for you.

if you use a hdmi to dvi converter then you only get picture and not audio because dvi don't carry audio same with vga

I use my room mates computer, sometimes, as it is a desktop, but he owns it, and has an account for me (I have an old lap top). He is away for Government training in California, and I ABSOLUTELEY CAN NOT mess up his settings...but, I do not think I can, because I am not listed as an administrator. It's exactly as I stated. Whenever I try to drag these kinds of loops (ESX24 / software instrument loops? the ones marked in green with the white music note next to them) from the loop browser into the timeline a message comes up saying Audio Not Found for that loop. And a new track is created automatically when loops are dragged into the timeline, so I'm not creating some other random / synth instrument track so I'm not sure what the deal is... But perhaps I'll try creating a software instrument track first and then drag the loop into that track and see what happens - maybe there's something with the default settings that automatically creates audio tracks whenever loops are imported?
