Can't get SPA122 / USR 56k USB Fax Modem / Mac OSX 10.8 to fax

Hi All;
I'm with voip.ms and I've been reading that faxing does work with specific settings on this provider along with the settings per the Cisco KB articles.
I've set all those settings and can't seem to get it to work.
I will intermittantly get 1 or 2 pages sent and then the line hangs up, or no pages at all.
I'm running 1.3.1 firmware at the moment on the SPA122.
Unfortunately, the modem / mac won't let me adjust speeds for the fax transmission.
Looking for ideas / suggestions to try to get this working.

I found the driver update from Apple. HP didn't have it or even a reference to it for some reason....

Is there an iPhone involved ?
If not, what happens if you remove the Apple ID on the iPad and then set it in Airplane Mode (allow a couple of minutes at this point) followed by re-adding the Apple ID ?
What, if any error messages are appearing on the Mac when you try to launch the App or Login to the iMessages server ?
Is the Apple ID linked to an iCloud account ?
In Messages 7 (Mountain Lion) this did not seem to be important but it seems it is in Mavericks/Messages 8

First of all, do you know if PSE 6 is even compatible to run on Mavericks?
But secondly, if it isn't, is there any way it CAN be run?

Where can I get an older version of iphoto for mac osx 10.4.11 on a PPC G4 processor

I have an old Imac G4 and wish to upgrade it to it's maximum, it is running mac OSX 10.4.11 tiger and currently has iphoto 2. I have the installers for iphoto 4.0.3 and 6.0.6, but I cannot activate either of them because I only have iphoto 2.

I get the error that the computer can't get the apple mobile usb driver to install so it won't show up on my computer or in itunes.It actually says Device Driver Software Not Sucessfully installed. Apple Mobile Device USB Driver failed. I'm using windows 7 which is fully updated, I have downloaded the newest itunes and also uninstalled and reinstalled it ans all of its components. I have followed every guide to sync your device to the computer and itunes, none of it has worked. I have unplugged my computer and tried it, I have taken the battery out of the computer and waited a few minutes and tried it. I have even gone into Device Manager looked under universal USB controllers and see an exclamation point next to the apple driver where its not working. I can click on it and tell it to look for the newest software and it says it's up to date and still not working. I have tried ever single usb advice or apple advice I can find over the last 3 hours and nothing is working. Please someone help me. I need to restore my ipad and I can't get it to show in itunes! please someone help!

You are making some progress with setup of wireless network. Apparently there is reliability problem with the wireless connection. Perhaps you want to refer to following Apple support documents and start tweaking parameters in the router to improve the reliability. I used to have third-party routers such as Belkin and Netgear but switched to Apple Airport routers (Time Capsule then Airport Extreme for now) because of incompatibility issues whenever Apple upgrade Mac OS X. But since Apple develops Airplay protocol as alternative to Bluetooth for wireless audio/video streaming (with much better bandwidth) and must be deployed in any wireless network, there is no reason third-party routers not working for Airplay protocol.

Jailbreaking violates the Apple warranty and licensing agreement and voids ALL support from Apple. No one on here can help you as doing so is a violation of the Terms of Use of these Communities. If you send the iPad to Apple they will just send it back to you as they are not permitted to work on a machine that has been jailbroken.

It says, "can't open your current version of iPhoto using this version of iPhoto. You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iPhoto. Please quit and use the latest version of iPhoto". I don't think my old mac will support the newer version of iPhoto so I feel like I'm stuck (this is why I got a new mac -- cheaper than upgrading all my software, etc). Help! You have two options:
Run the Library on a machine that has the same version as the machine that was stolen.
or
Recover the files from this library and start over from scratch.
To recover the files:
Go to your Pictures Folder (or whereever you have the back up) and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Your originals are in the Masters folder.
Note this will only recover your photos as imported from you camera.

The MI424WR does not have a bridging option, and neither Verizon nor Actiontec support attempting to bridge it.
The desire to bridge the MI424WR is based on a misunderstanding that it is a modem as well as a router. Actiontec does produce DSL Gateways that have a Transparent-Bridging option, which bypasses or disables the router function and allows the Gateway to act simply as a DSL modem, when it is enabled. Many consumers do not realize that with FiOS, the ONT (typically outside the home) is the device that handles changing the FiOS signal from Fiber to either Ethernet or Coax, and that the Router is just a Router, and if it was bridged or bypassed, it would be a device without a function. For most Verizon FiOS customers their service would completely stop if the MI424WR was bridged, because the Video on Demand service is dependent on it to work.
If your ONT is connected to the Actiontec MI424WR router via Coax, the MI424WR is required due to the Coax connection. But if the ONT is connected to the MI424WR via Ethernet, then in most cases some other router can be substituted for the MI424WR, and it can be removed."
So it looks like I will be calling Verizon support to see about getting the Ethernet connection installed and getting another modem...
